Ryou risked a quick glance to the side, and nearly fell over when he saw her. He had been so afraid that it might have only been him, or that she had been killed, or any number of things. Able to happily ignore the event he had just witnessed, he quickly turned to see how Kira was. He reached for her, to perhaps try to sit her up or something, but when he got an inch or so close to her he faltered, his hands fluttering back up, afraid to do so. Instead of seeing if she was okay, he turned away and began to cry, knowing that Bakura wasn't going to like that, since the other Bakura didn't really tolerate crying.
Bakura scowled as he heard the boy. "Ugh, what's his problem? God, Rei, you didn't kill her, did you?"

"Well I dident kill per say...I just knocked her out..She did spook her horse so the horse reared up and kicked her in the head. She did get up afterwards so I really dont see the problem...Mabye I hit the nerve to hard..." Rei looked over "She's still breathing." rei stated "Boy whats your problem? She's alive."

Bakura grumbled something about annoying people and got up, starting to get re-dressed. Ryou was silent, pressing his face against his knees as he hugged them to his chest. He didn't answer Rei.

“Got that right.” Bakura grumbled, going over to the stone tablet, pushing Ryou aside and peering down at Rei. He slapped her sharply across the face in an attempt to wake her, and was abruptly tackled down by Ryou. Not expecting this, Bakura was thrown off balance and the two tumbled to the ground, with Ryou on top and choking Bakura, a protective fire burning in his eyes. “You do NOT touch her!” Ryou shouted, his confidence back, no longer crying or even looking as though he had been crying. He didn’t seem to care or mind that Bakura didn’t understand, since the message had gotten across, and his grip loosened slightly. However, Bakura didn’t take kindly to being tackled down like that.

Rei had huried over grasping ryou by the back of the neck "And YOU do not touch HIM" rei said throwing ryou roughly beside kira. "He's protetive of the wench..."

“Tell him that if he tries anything like that again, I’ll kill her.” Bakura growled, glaring at Ryou as he rubbed his neck. Ryou glared right back, and Bakura was tempted to smash the boy’s face into the tablet over and over again.

Rei looked to ryou "He says you try anything like that agian he'll kill her. And trust me he isent kidding."

Ryou looked as though he was going to snap something back and then he glanced down at Kira, and his face paled a little at the thought of something bad happening to her. Taking in a deep breath to calm himself, he nodded his head slightly. “I… acted without thinking. I don’t like it when anyone hurts her.” He said hesitantly, lowering his gaze to the ground. Bakura grumbled something under his breath and got to his feet, brushing off sand, and headed towards the stairs to go above ground.

Ryou nodded his head a little, wiping his cheeks, and then looked towards Kira. He shook her slightly, biting his bottom lip. “Kira… please wake up…” He pleaded softly, hoping she hadn’t been injured too much. He wiped some of the blood from her face and brushed some of her hair from her face, his hands shaking as he did so. Bakura turned as Rei came up. “I don’t like that boy. He’s too nervous, too… twitchy. Once I find out how to function the Millennium Ring, I want him to be the first to see what new tricks I can do with it.”

Rei nodded "he's like he's on the bordeline of insanaty and could snap at any moment." she sighed "weird kid..."
Kira let out a low groan her eyes fluttering slightly "R-Ryou?" she muttered softly in japanese.

“Kira!” Ryou sounded relieved, and quickly hugged his fiancé. “Oh my god, I was so worried!” He cried, trembling all over again, trying to hold back tears. “I-I thought—I didn’t know if you had made it—Are you okay?” His words came out in a flood as he pulled away, no trace of the insane, indifferent self that had taken over when she had tried to kill herself. He seemed back to normal.
“Freak.” Bakura grumbled, glancing off to the side. “Then again, I think it would be too kind to just kill him like that. Someone that irritating should have to die more slowly… If I dropped him off in the middle of the desert, there would be no way he could survive.” Bakura grinned coldly at the thought.

Kira smiled softly. She was so happy to see ryou "I'll be oh...my head is spinning and my ears are ringging but it's nothing." she gently hugged ryou "Oh I was so worried about you as well."
"Sounds like it would work...but what should we do with the girl?He seems to really be proective of her." rei said.

“I would like to kill her the moment the boy slips up in any way.” Bakura said with a shrug. “There’s no real need to keep her around, right?” Ryou glanced towards the stairs, as though expecting Bakura to come back at any moment. “Bakura… he’s here. But it’s not the Bakura, I don’t think; he didn’t seem to know me at all, but then again, I couldn’t tell very well. He’s got the Millennium Ring, and is a bit more violent—and powerful, somewhat—than the other one.” He looked back towards Kira.
