She walked past him, bringing her hands out, poking him lightly in the stomach. The warmth was very inviting. She looked at the menu then glanced back at Quinn.

He blushed and laughed as his stomach was poked, walking inside behind her and taking a seat. "Now, why do I remember this so well..." he wonders outloud right before getting bear hugged by a large Italian man.
"Ehhhh!" the big man said. "Quinn, boy, I see you've got someone with you this time!" he laughed jolly like and patted him on the back, forcing him forward.
"Well, not qui-"
"I'll hear none of that, just for you two you get a slice for free! Ehh, mario, make us'a two slices. What'll it be, Quinn?!"
He was blushing highly and looked at the table. "Uh...just...just a cheese, thanks...and you, Mia?"

Mia glanced up at the man and smiled at him. He seemed to be really friendly. It made the place even more inviting. "I'll have the same as Quinn." She looked up at the big man and smiled. "And could you please bring me a glass of ice water?" Her eyes moved back looking at Quinn. She smiled, noticing him blushing.

Lilac Love Mia glanced up at the man and smiled at him. He seemed to be really friendly. It made the place even more inviting. "I'll have the same as Quinn." She looked up at the big man and smiled. "And could you please bring me a glass of ice water?" Her eyes moved back looking at Quinn. She smiled, noticing him blushing. He looked up at her and then noticed her smile, immediately bolting to grab their menus and hand it to him. "And a coke for me. Thanks.."

She shrugged as he ran off. While waiting she decided to take her cloak off. Now she was starting to feel a little too warm.

He turned to look at her, leaning on the table. "So, what made you come here to New York?" he asked after a few moments, looking at her.

She pulled her hair out from around her neck, glancing up at him. "I'm looking for a job. That and the elder of my pack died in battle. The new leader was only worried about power. I couldn't stand him." She leaned back in her seat. "I just hope he doesn't find me. He doesn't let just anyone leave. If you try to run they try to hunt you down."

"I'm sure you won't have to worry about that here." he said, smiling. "People here are protective, it's why the kill counts made by the nightwalkers are either high or low. High if the protectors are weak, low if they are strong." he looked down and sighed. "I suppose I'm one of the strong in that logic..." he let his hands hit his thighs and then looked at them.
he was silent for a few moments and then the big Italian guy came back with their orders, setting first the drinks and then the pizza. Quinn looks at the pizza and smiles, nodding to him. "I didn't introduce you yet. Mia, this is Paglionna, Paglionna, this is Mia." he motioned to them both and smiled.

"I really haven't been too worried about it." She smiled at him, noticing he grew quiet. "That doesn't seem bad." Really, she didn't know what concerned him. "Hey, you alright?" She grabbed his hand, just as their food was brought over then let it go just as quickly.
She glanced up at the guy. "Thank you, Paglionna." She extended her hand to him. "It's a pleasure meeting you."

"Always a pleasure to meet a friend of Quinns, Mia." he smiled and shook her hand with his rather meaty one.
"Well, Paglionna, grab a drink."
Once he did, Quinn smiled and raised his glass. "To a safe trip to New York." he smiled to her, looking at her eyes. A little too much probably.

"Well old friend, it seems we have something warm to eat. We might as well have been feeding on blood for warmth until here." Paglionna laughs and nods, patting him on the back again and walking off, downing his drink. "That old man is like a father to me...like the one I didn't have..." he said solemnly, looking at her again.

"Thank you again." She nodded to Paglionna as he walked off. Her attention moved back on Quinn. "I could tell. He looks to be quite a respectable man." She grabbed her water, taking a sip.

"Mmhmm..." he smiled and took a sip of his drink. "Well, we said we wanted a hot meal, I suppose we should eat these while hot." he looked at her and then at the pizza. He picked it up and took a bite.

"I suppose you're right." Mia smiled at him, taking a few bites of her pizza. She wasn't that modest, food was food, but she figured she should show some manners. She didn't want to scare him off or anything. Then she slowly set the pizza down, eating a bit slower.
