She is still alone... @Girunit: If they actually put in another Sonic character (Which I highly doubt.) It will be Tails. They'll probably be AT Also, I really don't want any more 3rd party characters. I want some more Nintendo characters. That IS what smash bros is all about. Our fave Nintendo characters beating the crap out of each other. 3 Stars of Kirby? Kirby, Dedede, and....? Metaknight dude xDYeah I was thinking they should put Ridley in but he's pretty freaking huge to be a character, I think he'll be in the Subspace Emmisary though. So, they scaled charcters sized to make 'em bigger and smaller before. But yea, he probably will be in a boss. s**t wheres my noob hat? I totally forgot about that guy, they haven't given him enough coverage. Him and Pokemon trainer need more updates and pictures.

I wonder if they really will put either megaman, megaman X, megaman.EXE, or the New Megaman in brawl? I think it would be cool to use any of them, since there is sooo much each one could do.

I'm guessing that most of the franchises will get about three characters.
Mario will get Mario, Peach, Bowser, and Luigi. I doubt there'd be more than that. Wario and Yoshi will be the only representatives of their franchises (they're technically Mario characters, anyway. Zelda, Link and Ganondorf will probably be all Zelda gets. Either Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, a new character (probably Lucario), or two of the previous three (but not all three) can be expected to make up the rest of the Pokemon cast. K. Rool will hopefully be added to the game. Krystal or Falco will be in it, but probably not both. Kid Icarus and Ice Climber won't get anything else. Lucas will probably replace Ness entirely, but Sakurai may keep him in anyway. I expect Black Shadow to appear as a second F-Zero character. Anyone else is unlikely. Other Metal Gear or Sonic characters will probably appear as Assist Trophies. I'm hoping for another Metroid character, but this is unlikely, seeing as most Metroid characters are thirty feet tall. Maybe we'll get Dark Samus.
Finally, I think we'll only be getting one more third-party character. The likely candidates are Mega Man, Pacman (hopefully not. I like him, but he wouldn't be a good Smasher), and -going into wishful thinking territory here- Kalas from Baten Kaitos. If I had to pick any of them, I'd go for Kalas.

I was expecting it, but I'm glad to see it. Kirby's getting a lot of backup for this game.
Bowser, Ganondorf, King Dedede, and now all we need is another main boss and we can have a free for all cage match to the death.

I feel like i am being attacked over my opinions.
And yes Fox use to be one of my best characters. that was until i found out how Falco has a glitch where he can grab you over and over again, and stupid people use glitchs to an advantage.
all wave shining, and drill shining are stupid. I like fights that are fair, and actually take skill.
and the reason i dont like falco is that he can come out of an attack and go right into a smash. he is like the best for attack speed.
and he has awesome spikes.
thats alot of such a balanced character.
I mean Mario has a meteor smash, but he also doesnt have high attack speeds. He is left open alot in some cases.
Anyway, im done yelling at people over stupid stuff.

Which is quite a lot considering he is a Metroid character, and as arguably the main villain in the series of Metroid, you could say he's more important to the series than Diddy Kong in Donkey Kong. I hear that in a certain poll, Sonic beat Ridley in being requested by only 15 votes. And...  I'm pretty sure he was supposed to be in Melee as a playable character, considering his resizing here and that he didn't really appear much in Melee. Sakurai seems to enjoy leaving the villains until the end. I'm guessing Ganondorf is the next in being confirmed.
