And for reference, Mag, it's known as a Fiddle in the states that seceded from the Union during the Civil War. Everywhere else it's a violin.

During Christmas we played the Hallelujah Chorus while the Choir sang the words. It is a sweet tradition.
It is a Fiddle if you play "sounthern/country" music and a Violin when playing anything else.
Or like my sister's psycho friend thought; Violin on the left shoulder, bow with right hand or Fiddle on right shoulder, bow with left hand. (I've tried that and it is freaky. Every player uses theirs on their right shoulder unless they have a custom made violin)

My brother was supposed to learn how to play the violin, but since he didn't know any better, he cut the strings and that ended that. .____.; But that must be pretty bomb, Mag, to be a part of a living, awing orchestra.
The flute's really pretty, too.
You guys are making me want to stop being lazy and start playing piano again. > >;

Join the instrument side... We have Ice Cream Bars. SRYSLY. After concerts our director most-times gives us ice cream and a day off from playing where we "watch" a movie. (Which we had today and I used the time to kick the crap out of two other people in Mario Kart balloon battles till my batteries died emo ).
I have already figured out how to play many songs from Zelda on my Violin. Tis a fun habit to pick up.

Seeing as neither of them owned the game we stuck to Balloon Battles not racing. I can powerslide so far ahead of them that I've gone over the finish line backwards while hopping once before anyone showed up. Of course that was against two other people who owned the game. Then again there are friends of mine who can do that to me so... Yeah.

I never use drifting, mostly because I suck at it and I dont need to drift in order to win.
