"No kidding... Seriously... look at all the trouble he has caused.. all the pain..." Liam crossed his arms. He then paused. He felt someone else in the shadow palace. It was on odd sense. The person was getting closer... That was or sure. He heard her thoughts. He let a grin spread across his lips.
Arious raised an eyebrow at Liam's sudden amusement. He had a questioning look on his face.
Shadow took a few steps toward the red head and small girl. "Listen! I have every right to see her! That child... could've been mine if that Ba$tard hadn't cheated me out of my woman! I've no time for games! Tell me!" He drew his sword in aggravation.

April watched at Shadow unsheathed his sword and screamed. She clutched her orb to her chest as the flames suddenly flared up. "Mommy! Daddy!" She sobbed loudly as it echoed through their ears. Hearing the frightened voice of their daughter April.
Silver frozen, hearing April cry for help as she disappeared in a flash of silver flames. Seeing Shadow brandish his sword towards Diness and HER BABY. Her eyes flashed with anger. "YOU KEEP AWAY FROM HER YOU SON OF A b***h!" Silver shouted rushed forward and tackling him to the ground, taking every moment to attack Shadow. She punched him, slamming him across the wall and unsheathed her sword. "HOW DARE YOU SCARE APRIL, I WILL KILL YOU BRING YOU BACK TO LIFE AND KILL YOU AGAIN!" Silver shouted at him, fire in her eyes.
"I know that!" Opal shouted almost angrily. "The part I'm confused about is 'who'. What do you mean by drunks?" Opal said, looking at Vaati. She suddenly stepped back, realizing she could have angered him further.

Arious jumped to his feet. "April!" He jumped at Liam and held his shoulder. He chanted some foreign words as an explosion of purple and deep blue enclosed the room.
Liam got slammed against the wall as he felt Arious drain his magic. "What are you DOING?! A... a leeching spell!?" He slid to the ground, completely drained.
Arious disappeared in a mist of blue and purple flames intermixed. He landed in front of Shadow and Silver.
Shadow cursed as he took the blows from Silver. "Damn you..." He drifted into the shadows and reappeared behind Silver only to find Arious glaring at him, his eyes flaming.
In a blink Arious Held Shadow in a choke hold. "Don't you ever... EVER threaten my daughter! Or even think of harming her! The same goes for my wife!" He felt Shadow trying to get away his usual way, but Arious was prepared for that. Purple flames surrounded them blinding everything and making the shadows disappear. "I don't think so. NOW go back to where you belong!" Arious slammed Shadow into the ground purple and blue sparks emitting from his hands.
Shadow grunted in pain as he rolled onto the floor in the shadow palace next to Liam.
((Don't mess wif Arious unless you want yur arse kicked. ^^ Arious sat there and stole Lim's magic to get to April cause he couldn't travel between dimensions! DANG that is the kid of spell that Rugen used to steal everyone's power! And it took forever! Arious sat there and did it in mere SECONDS! Not to mention he is in the Shadow realm where his powers would be damped on top of all that! Dang! I wish I had an Arious to protect me....>.> ))

Silver was already rushing over to Diness and April when Arious was dealing with Shadow. She already took the crying child into her arms. The child had been so scared, but she half amazed by the fact that April was able to contact them. "Shhh, it's alright sweetie, the bad man is gone." Silver whispered in elvish into her ear. She was running her hand through her silver violet hair.
"... Okay..." April responded in elvish to her mother, blinking the tears that blurred her vision, glancing over at her father. She felt tears silently down her face. She held the orb to her chest, not even knowing that had saved her from Shadow's wrath.
Diness backed away from the two parents. She knew now it was best to mess with them, especially with Arious. She looked at April worried, wondering if the child was alright. She remembered how frightened April had been when she saw the angry Shadow appear in front of them. She wondered if she would act the same for her own child. She remembered the last time she got angry. She looked at her hands and remembered the flames. She sighed softly.
(Well, remember Arious is one powerful Mage, not to mention probably more experienced that Rugen. And Liam is pretty young, probably not experienced as Arious.)

"Oh for the love of Din!" Vaati picked up her up by the collar of her shirt and threw her into the bed wth a hiss. "Those good-for-nothing victims who do nothing else with their lives but drink."

Opal felt fear spread through her, and yelped when he tossed her to the bed. She lifted her face after a few seconds, feelings tears on her face. She looked back at Vaati, he for the first time had made tears leak from her eyes. She only remembered the time she cried in Vaati's behalf, it was when he was killed by Dark. After staring into his red eyes with her big light blue ones she looked away, feeling no more tears.

As the trio arrived in the desert, Kaze looked around and spotted the tower. He headed off with the others until they reached the tower. "So... this is what we have to climb, eh?" He muttered before heading inside. "Let's start climbing then!" Kaze said, his eyes finding the stairs quickly.

"Yes, Kaze, climb while I enjoy the scenery." Ezlo murmured with a small smug on his face. Hat life wasn't a bad life, especially while someone else did all the work he wasn't able to.
"Awww, does the baby want to go see daddy?" He cooed, then roared with laughter at the tears she shed. "I was under the impression you were a little tougher!"

Kaze nearly tossed Ezlo off the stairs. "I think I can see why Link no longer wears you as a hat." He muttered under his breath as he climbed the stairs.

Arious appeared next to SIlver and April. "Are both of you alright?" He cocked his head to side, hearing voices. "Hmm what is this?" He heard everyone... Silver... April.. and Din.... They were clear in his ears. He also heard Helios, Rugen and Lisaya, but they were farther away. He stared at Silver. She wasn't talking, but he heard her thanking every god she knew that April was safe. He heard worry from April about his sister. And last from Din, he heard thoughts of her own child. "Stop... talking.. please..." But the voices didn't stop. Now he heard notes of concern and confusion from his wife and child. Little did Arious know, he was hearing everyone's thoughts. He had Liam's magic to thank for it. Arious covered his ears, but the voices wouldn't go away.
Liam stared at Shadow. "I... can't do anything... My magic.. he has stolen all of it... I cannot even hear your thoughts..."
Shadow grunted as he pulled himself up. "Trust me. I know. Arious has all of it. I hope he has some fun with it too!" He rubbed his neck where Arious had choked him.

Darious bit his lips. It didn't very long to find the baby and remove him. It was a pretty mess-free process since the baby was magically bond with the shadows already and just fed off extra shadow magic Saya had. There was no psychical connection. The baby already opened his eyes and stared at him with blood coloured eyes. Darious quickly wrapped the baby in a blanket he summoned.
"Stop staring and give him to me!" Saya shouted and summoned her baby to her anyways, much to Darious' disappointment. Of course he wanted to study him. "Leave him alone, Darious. Actually, I suggest you leave."
"No! It wasn't quite that way, you see." Ezlo mumbled, half offended that Kaze would even suggest that. "But never mind that, you have to find Opal and Vaati."
