There should be a noted difference between big characters and unnatural/super strength.

Well, I wasn't going to make comments about this..
Anyway, I'm not going to say I haven't done my share in problems with this fight, but when Crawley "tried" talking to me. It wasn't anything short of I was wrong, he was right and why I should edit my post on the attack where he would have gotten sworded, but I wasn't going to compromise Katie's position just because he didn't want to be inventive and get out of the attack or take a little damage from it by doing a simple move. He was stuck on wanting to do that grapple move, which put him in the way of Katie's sword.
Plus, the feint with her left hand was an absolute moving point. The odds of him grasping her fingers were pretty slim, especially when you have a sword coming down just a second after the feint. Not to mention, he didn't even acknowledge the sword. So, he wanted me to edit my post and let Katie get grappled. He wouldn't even work together with that. I don't see how that could have been fair. Then, he turned it into a NO U contest that I refused to get caught up in.
Also, his big argument in his post about me putting in Crawley stats was uncalled for. I still have the MSN convo saved. He made it quite clear that Crawley was faster and lighter and that was going to be his reason to completely evading her sword attack, which he did then continued with the same exact grapple move as if he hadn't even moved.
Other than that, I've been fair to everyone throughout this whole tournament. There has been many fights I toned Katie down to meet the opponent halfway, just to have a good fight because that's all I wanted from HoH to have some god damn fun.

Well, for saying "no", I wouldn't worry about the difference of strength, so much as how they're trying to move my character. If they're doing a front delt raise and just lifting and holding him in the air with their arm like he's a bag of groceries.. I'm going to argue that on several bases (via PMs or in a judge thread, not via IC posts). If they're grabbing him and using their weight to try and sling him around or get him into the air that way, I would be much more agreeable to it, even if their character wasn't that much stronger. Those are two very different motions for the utilization of strength.
Application of strength is just as important as the character actually being big or strong.
As for how fighting a big/strong character changes a person's character style or design, I don't think it would affect it anymore than the next character archetype, or choice of weapon/armor. Though, I do think it has a greater possibility of it, at least, because it's something you can use to very easily force someone into a box they normally wouldn't fit into, metaphorically speaking.
PG: Jello and I both talked to him last night over the thing, and all he did was keep complaining. I've already talked to Cog some about it. Obviously, I have a problem with his actions more than I would yours, especially in the last few posts with what he's been doing.

Hurhur, sorry faggerts.
Rents have been driving me like a ******** when it comes to RL obligations (namely job huntan), and I can't blame em for it. I got as much done as I could, though.
SO THIS s**t'S GONNA BE SAVED.
At least somewhat. If it looks bad, I'm just gonna have Ebris start a riot and see how long it lasts before security drags him down and kicks him out. Or something.

Me He stepped to the outside of her left side while turning her hand over, palm up, twisting the wrist, causing lots of immediate pain of the 'please stop this from happening' variety that the body doesn't like. We agreed that you were swinging the sword straight down the middle right? Do you have that part on msn too? You were basically telling me that you didn't think I could beat you to the counter. So in other words.. no matter what I did.. whether I went forward, back, or to the other side.. I'd still be cut by how you said it. That's why I brought up Crawley being smaller, lighter, and as a result.. faster. So if I move myself to the outside of your left side.. what will happen to you sword? That's up to you. It's of no concern to me because my character is to the outside of your left side. AKA out of the path of your sword.What's so hard to understand about that? I could've sworn on msn .. I repeated " EVASIVE COUNTER" like.. 5 times.

I wanted you to edit your post into NOT KILLING MY CHARACTER because he had evaded your sword and was attempting to put you in a grapple. In other words.. I wanted you to deal with my counter. I didn't care how you dealt with it.. so long as you dealt with it. I countered your attack.. and I wanted a fair response to mine. I didn't get that. Problem arrives courtesy of you. You were the first one to No U me because your very next post in response to my counter was "no, my sword chops you, you're dead" We can go look at the fight to verify this. As a matter of fact... Pocket Gal Mr Crawley Now.
His right hand shot up like a frog's tongue catching a fly to snatch one of her left hand's fingers. It didn't matter which one. The result would be the same.

Feel the No U coming from that post. The utter rejection of everything I said/did. How does this make sense? If the sword is coming straight down, and you acknowledge that I moved to the left (you swung your sword with the right hand). Of course.. me.. not wanting my character to die (I almost said ******** it) I took a post to point out to you... "You attack, me evasive counter, I don't die... how about you deal with my attack fairly like I did yours?" When I saw I wasn't going to get that .. I said ******** it. All motivation had been sapped out of me. Blame yourself.

it's what's current and now. it's what's happening, and it's very relevant to our interests. how can you expect that a group of players to stay quiet when there's drama and scandal afoot, in their very own tourney or guild? surely, you had to know that the ooc thread would liven up when you lost interest and all but gave up, reasons notwithstanding.
