Trust me, it sucks when you lose because of a random Quick Claw activation. Or because someone spams your whole team to sleep with a Darkrai.
These rules don't stop you from using your favorite Pokemon. The lowest tier of Pokemon can take out the highest if used properly. I only use my favorites, yet I still play by competitive rules.

not to mention a rather large majority of the pokemon population must agree with the rules, or it wouldnt be standard.
but as I said, I see where your comming from, I do like to play an occasional no rules match, they can be quite unpredictable sometimes

oh who cares any decent lv 100 can take on any superior pokemon believe me i have single handedly defeated every pokemon at least once and i will never shy to attempt till the end and never run away

In Wi-Fi, you can have matches where levels are evened out. Then all Pokemon are level 100. I find this more fun. Then it's not about who has the highest levels, it's about who can match up types and counter their opponent better.
But, difference in opinion will always exist. I'm just stating mine. 3nodding

There's no wrong or right way to play Pokemon. That's the beauty of it, it's so free. You can play it however you want. Some people enjoy it one way, some another way. This guild is about bringing people together who love Pokemon. We have plenty here for people of every play style. So why can't we just stop this discussion and talk about how great Pokemon is? XD
