What I'm saying is that the random stopping of comercial traffic to check for rebel smugglers using interdictor ships isnt common yet.

More or less what I was trying to get at. Although, I wonder how a pirate is going to deal with an Akk dog in the cargo hold...

Are you familiar with the proceedure known as hull cutting? And if that wasnt enough, they could force open the two huge airlocks on either side of the hold.

I figured they wouldn't damage the transport if they didn't have to, at least right off the bat... Seems kind of a waste if they couldn't hijack the entire ship for themselves.

They can patch the hull later. Besides, to some pirates, its better to damage the prize than risk the lives of your crewmates.

Interesting sidenote: We're an armed merchant cruiser. Which is kinda cool.
And I also feel a little guilty about using that damn "Bad feeling" line.

Cale Darksun The Imps didnt have Interdictors this early I thought. They did, but it was a different class. The Imperial Navy used CC-2200 Detainer from the clone wars till about 2-3 ABY when it was replaced by the IM418 Immoblizer... What most everyone thinks of when they hear interdictor cruiser.

If all else fails, blame the corellian. I don't know which one, but any will do.
