It was twilight, raining.....raining. The sun hadn’t shown in days. We were out on vacation, my love and I, we had also brought a friend. In a temple, they were having a celebration. Even the rain didn’t stop this event. The celebration lasted for hours, and in the middle.....something happened. I don’t know what happened, but everyone panicked. In the middle my love and I were separated. After I was rushed somewhere into safety. They couldn't convince me to stay, I had to go find my love. I ran and I ran, searched and searched, still no sign of you. Hours passed by, my legs started to burn, but I couldn’t stop. Every moment I was away from you, every step I took and didn’t find you fear started to grip me, the constant worry that something had happened to you. Soaked by the unforgiving rain, I trudged on, feet aching beyond imagination, but still I moved on..... suddenly in the corner of my eye I spotted something on the ground to big to be trash. Hope and fear jumped on me at once. I started to jog, then I ran, faster and faster with each step. The shape started to take detail. Skin pure white skin, to white for yours. I ran faster, fearing for the worst. Faster and faster I ran. Hair beautiful brown hair, her hair, spread across the muddy ground. I ran faster, my legs burned...hotter....and hotter, as if I was walking barefoot through hell. Streaks....rose red streaks of blood. I ran faster and faster. My jacket flew off, my shoes came loose and got threw back. Faster and faster I ran, afraid I might fall, still I ran faster. Almost there I thought. I dropped to my knees and slid, and thrust you up into my arms. Cradled you and rocked back and forth in sorrow. I rest my head on your chest and I heard a very faint beat. A few seconds later I heard the words “Silver?” I quickly lifted my head to see your face. “Nikki” I said softly. “Your gonna be ok, we’ll make it through this” tears started to stream down my face at the dreams you gave me. Slowly your eyes started to fade, eyes closed, hate swelled up in me as I shouted to the heavens. “WHY. WHY HER, TAKE ME INSTEAD.” hours passed by as I cradled your body, hoping wishing it wasn’t true. I hated life, I hated god, I hated everything I knew. I thought suicide but I couldn’t do it. As I fell asleep, I got a jolt. Jumped up and found my self in a bedroom. Still saddened by what happened I swung my arms in a furry demolishing everything. Fell to my knees and threw my head into my hands. All of a sudden I heard a knock at the door. at first I didn’t move. Slowly it grew on me, I had to see who it was. Slowly moved towards the door. I opened it slowly and I heard a familiar voice I rushed my head up to see a familiar face....... astonishment, happiness, and sadness hit me all at once. I screamed “Nikki” wrapped my arms around you and said. “I thought I lost you forever” then you replied “what happened”......then I said “I had a nightmare”
