I hope so too! I kind of want to get fake food and photograph our dolls at a kiddy table. XD I think that would be twelve kinds of awesome.

It was the Mormons. Seriously. The Church told them all to go vote against Gay Marriage, and they succeeded.

err what? the church won't state political opinion at all actually. goes with the article of faith about the country's laws superceding the church's doctrine. i forget which one that is. *shrug*
there's no official Mormon stance on any political view. there's opinions commonly shared among members, but nothing official. you can be excommunicated for being gay because it's "an affront to god" but there's nothing beyond that.
i do agree though, Prop 8 is/was a stupid thing to do.

Seriously, it's ALL over the news. Mormons were *very strongly encouraged* to go out and and protest against it, and vote. It was a few of the stakes in and around LA. I don't know if they had endorsement from above though, because there's an article on Meridian's website that implies otherwise.

i'm entirely sure it was just a localized group of morons saying it was a church thing, completely unsanctioned by the higher-ups. i'm more likely to trust what meridian says over other things when it comes to the church's standing on things like this.
i also heard Mormons were pretested for being anti-gay though, so that could be part of what happened. i wish more people were capable of realizing that believing in a traditional family structure doesn't mean opposing any unconventional family types. X.x
