Rain listened to her story intently with her arms crossed, nodding her head here and there. The Foundation. What a horrible place. Not much had happened to Rain that was the to extent of what happened to Anemone, Kayako, and Liana but it still messed her up good. That was, until Eden saved her. Those LFOs sure were amazing and mysterious organisms.

"Ah, I see," Rain mumbled. "I had never really been close to anyone there. Except for this one kid that had this funky paint-in-the-air pen. I wonder what happened to him..." Rain sort of faded off, but then shook her head and continued. "Yeah, I was out of sorts during my first stay there. I've been their twice, ya know. The second time was a real trip." Rain's eyes moved from Liana and glanced at Ryouki, giving him a small smile.

He could hear the nic was nerves so he looked at kayako. '' We just want to know when so we can get the final CPU checks done on all the LFO's and the cpu's on the main deck. " He gave nic a slight look as he put his hands in his pockets.

Reiku nodded as he grabbed nics arm and ran down the hall. '' Lets get these checks done before she starts tossing frying pans at us for not doing it!! " he laughed slightly as he released his grip and went up the stairs to the bridge computers.

Hearing the announcement play over the intercom, Asuka quickly made her way out into the halls of the ship, making sure she locked her bedroom door behind her. It wasn't as if she was excessively paranoid, but she had been caught in the middle of re-organizing her belongings. She didn't have much, but nonetheless she knew there were certain people on board who would try to hide her things just for the fun of it. She was still missing two pairs of underwear after the last 'game'.

"Let's see..." Asuka thought aloud as she made her way down the stairs "Nic and Reiku will probably check the sleeping quarters. Kayako will have already checked the hangar. Rain and Ryouki are probably still close to the ramp so they'll check that. That only leaves the cargo bay and the boiler room...."

If there was one thing Asuka knew, it was ships. And she'd watched this particular ship be built from the ground up, and as such had no trouble finding a route down into the bowels of the vessel. However, as the redhead absentmindedly turned the corner at the bottom of the staircase, she found herself nearly running into a mass of white fluff. White fluff which, upon closer inspection, appeared to be hair, and the hair was attached to the small-framed pale albino girl Asuka now knew as Liana. What on Earth she was doing this far down was a mystery, but Asuka immediately grabbed the shorter girl's hand and began dragging her along without a word. Liana was of course confused by this.

"Um....where are we going?"

"You want to be a member of this crew, right? Well then, you have to help out. Don't worry, I'm not gonna make you carry boxes or anything, but you CAN help me look over the bottom of the ship and make sure nothing's fishy."

"Oh, okay......"

Asuka knew she wouldn't put up any kind of a fight. Liana was obviously a meek thing, although apparently she had been trained as a soldier just as Kayako had. Looking at her, one wouldn't believe it. Asuka wasn't sure what to think of their new tagalong in all honesty, but figured that having her do a bit of work would at the very least give a better understanding of the girl's personality. Besides, Asuka had something she wanted to speak to Liana about.

".....And that's the story."

Down inside of the Ragnarok's LFO hangar, Kayako found herself laying upside-down in the hand of her precious mech type Senturi, looking up into the archetype's violet eyes with her own. Having finished checking over the hangar in a matter of ten minutes and finding nothing but a scared mouse, the purple-haired girl had decided to spend the next few moments informing her old friend of the recent happenings in her life. Sometimes she wasn't certain whether or not Senturi really cared about the human world, but she cared about Kayako and that was enough. And besides that, hearing the soft, faintly feminine whisper in the back of her mind that Kayako had come to know as the LFO's voice was a source of comfort in the hectic life she lived. It was this soft whisper that replied to her moments later.

'You have changed quite a bit since we met. You used to hurt all the time, but now you are smiling.....'

'I guess I still hurt, sometimes. There's alot of things we haven't tied up yet, and lots of questions I don't know the answers to. But having all these people by me has helped me grow up a lot. It's kind of nice to actually have friends....'

'And family?'

'I don't have a family Senturi, you know that. They're all dead, otherwise the foundation wouldn't have been able to take me.'

'Are you certain of that?'

At that statement, Kayako sat up and shot a glance at Senturi's face. She wasn't sure of whether Senturi knew something that she didn't, or if the LFO was simply trying to cheer her up by giving her a bit of hope. Either way, the girl didn't bother to ask for further information, remembering now that she had things to be doing.

"I have to go. They need me up in the cockpit."

At that, the armored hand underneath her lowered her down to the floor. Kayako stepped off and waved goodbye to Senturi for the moment, then took off running towards the staircase as was her custom. She wanted to make sure she was in the Captain's seat when the crew started reporting in. Withing five minutes, the girl scrambled to the top of the stairs and down the hall to the Ragnarok's central command center. Not bothering to walk down more stairs, Kayako simply jumped down into her chair, which seemed to startle another mouse that was resting nearby. Immediately bored, Kayako turned on the intercom and addressed the ship's occupants again.

"This is your Captain speaking! How's everything going?"

Asuka, who was still checking boxes with Liana in the cargo bay, was the first to answer.

"We've got mice."

"You don't say."

"You've seem them then? There aren't alot, but we should probably set some traps or something..."

"Yeah, we'll buy some at the next town."

"Do we have to kill them?" Liana's voice piped up behind Asuka, who turned around to see the albino girl holding a little white mouse not unlike herself in her hands. "I think they're kind of cute..."

"Don't even think about it."

"Awww...."

Stopping when she heard her leaders voice over the speaker, she could only stand there and listen while she stared at the wall infront of her blankly. Once the announcement was made Nic slammed a hand against her face and let out a long sigh before turning around, and looking for something to check.

As Reiku enter the hanger he got a chill. Ever time he would enter the hanger it felt like Mercury and Sentury where staring at him to see if he would mess up or something. He walked over to one of the lifts that were sitting in the hanger and drove over to his LFO and pushed up on the lever and came to the cockpit. He grabbed the manual opening of the hatch and looked in. Everything was the same. He climbed inside and checked over all the computers. " Everything checks out.. So whats next on my to do list on my LFO. " He pulled out his lab top and looked at ever part.

The lap top lit up green. Everything was working good. " Thats a good sigh. Now all is left that is to check over the weapon.. " As he went to click on the Icon everything froze. The cockpit lit up and a sharp pain raced through Reiku's left arm. " Ow! What the heck was that!! " He looked over the control panel the lights where lighting up. Twilight's head lifted slightly as its amber eyes slightly glowed. " What is going on.. " He pulled back slightly and punched the control panel, everything shut off. " That was really odd... That never happen before... " He open the cockpit and got out of his LFO and moved his shoulder around. He then turned and started to go check out the sleeping quarters. As he walked up towards the stairs to the hall way he cought a glimpse of Nic's hair. he turned and looked at her. '' Hey Nic you all right? " He walked over by her and sat down.

" Ya sure anything whats wrong? " He looked at her with concern. '' You can ask me anything. " He turned and sat crossed leg.
