Yeah, it and just about every other monster have gotten Godzilla to an inch of death. Mecha Godzilla was just cool as it would never seem to die that easily. It had more resilience then Godzilla himself had.

i remember the godzilla movie hollywood tryed makeing. it was more like jurastic park then godzilla.

heh,m I own the original Godzilla game for the NES.. there are no save points so once you start you have to keep on or else start over again. It took me 7 hours straight to beat that game, only breaking for lunch. Thank god for the pause button. Heh, the select uses either Mothra's Sonic attack or Godzilla's Heat breath. Thats the first and only game in which i've seen the select button be used for an attack. You play as a Team, Godzilla and Mothra, and you must destroy all of the enemies per world. You must travel through all 9 worlds untill finally reaching Planet X. There the final boss waits. He's actually me fav character. It's the three headed dragon that shoots lightning bolts from it's mouth(s). Each map is kinda set up like a bored game. Each character has so many spaces to move per turn, then when you position yourself alongside an enemy you can attack... That games' a b***h to beat.

Anywho there is symbolism for Godzilla. He was Japans attampt on showing the world what the Americans have done to them. You see due to the bombings at Hiroshima and Nagasaki with Fatman and Littleboy, radiation had contaminated their entire fishing supplies, so rumors started to spread about genetic mutation. Well what if the Radiation from those attacks mutated an iguana that ended up finishing off the rest of japan. Boooya! Godzilla was born! And they used the creaking of a huge a** wraught(sp?) iron gate as godzilla's attack cry.

As for the Gundams, actually they can't keep their thrusters on forever, at some point they do overheat if you've bothered playing any of the games. And if you followed the Stardust memories closely, it actually tells you how Mech's came about:
"Do to the discovery of Minovsky particles, they rendered pretty much all long-range weapons useless. Thus arose a need for Close-range combat. In UC-umm.. something or other, the Zaku I was created and was labeled the 1st mobil e suit. It became the backboneof the Zeon force, then was replaced by Zaku II's, then Dom's. Actually that is the reason that they gave it in the anime series... And I fail to see what that has anything to do with Iraq. I'm a Republican. But no I do not aree with some of the things bush has done. Unlike the average liberal that I see all too often, I actually have (good) reasons for disagreeing with some of Bush's actions. I do however feel a sense of pride though because he actually had the balls to do something about it. Muslim terrorists have been attacking American's since the 60's and Bush is the 1st president to actually fight back. though we should have been after Osama the entire time, not go on that little detour in Iraq.. That was just kinda stupid and a waste of resources, not to mention it humiliated Saddam and gave America a bad name when we didn't find the sup'posed "Weapons of mass destruction".

As for America's government. Here's how I describe it, y'know what the opposite of Congress is? Progress!

As for the American Economy? Perfectly suited for humans. Though Communism is perfect, it would only be perfect if humans/ the society was perfect. Alas it is flawed, which means that though communism is a good ideal, it can not have any bases in the real world. Whereas capitolism capitolizes on mankinds natural tendencies to stab people in the back to gain more financial/material wealth and climb higher on the corperate ladder.

I'm not even going to get into this whole America thing... all I'll say though is that it's the worst country ever practically just for being a wannabe empire. Hell even the Romans did it better, and they sucked despite the size of the empire. And what government do you think ours is based around? The crappy Romans who had hardly any original ideas, as they stole everything from other cultures! Curse them all to the underworld!

And anyway another reason our country sucks is that it's full of a bunch a cowards with the way we wage warfare. Nobody can touch us because we have thousands more nukes then anyone else... or if you screw with us we bomb your a**. I hate the philosophy this government has, our way or the highway kind of bullshit. We're practically an empire now politically, so we might as well call our president a king or something. Despite the fact that he has NO POWER whatsoever. Nothing but a puppet, and a really stupid one at that. I don't know why people think Bush did anything at all, because he friggin can't! If you take a closer look at the so called "Checks and balances" you'll notice Congress can out vote everyone, which I bet is a lot easier to do then people think.

Oops.... looks like I did rant about this stuff afterall. Sorry about that guys. >.<

So anyway, Godzilla rules all, as he is the King of all Monsters.

And I'll start on my defense of the base sometime tomorrow night or Monday when I'm actually home. I'm over my brother's right now, so I don't entirely feel up to thinking up that kind of stuff.
