{{Just to let you know, my character isn't really near Haucon and Leila. He's in a total different alleyway. But I guess I'll work with it.}}

Liam felt totally numb, his actions uncontrolled by him as he picked himself up from the ground and grabbed his scythe. He staggered slightly as he walked slowly over to the two. His mind was screaming at his body, this was not something he would want to happen. His eyes, fully black now, glinted with darkness, but they still had a hint of sadness and uncertainty to them. If anyone ever found that this wasn't his desire, they'd have to see his eyes.

(OOC: Oh, crap! Sorry... sweatdrop I need to read more carefully... Thanks for going with it.)

Crystal smiled at the thought. Well, I was issued to him. That's what my race was destined for. The higher fairies select those whom they think require a fairy partner, then they assign us to one. But don't worry, we're too good of friends for me to feel like a machine.

Dream, unable to hear the conversation, just nodded to Violet. "Yes. How would you like it if I decided to kill you all of a sudden? Forget about strengths for a second, just imagine you were at my, or anyone's, mercy, and they decided to kill you. How would you feel?" He waited a moment for her to think about it, then continued. "Which is why I don't kill."

Leila spotted movement, and recognizing the shape, her fists loosened a bit. Liam had betrayed her trust somewhat...but it hadn't seemed like him, not with the sadness she saw in him. But that simply left her in a predicament: she should try to help him and get hurt all over again, or should she stay away and let him deal with it on his own? Neither seemed like a better choice, as it was not in her nature to simply leave people to their problems. There had to be a different choice. She remembered the sudden change in his eyes, how his tone had also changed. Something was not right with him at all....maybe he looked so sad all the time because he was begging for help, but didn't know how to ask for it. Her head lowered as her determination melted a bit, leaving her feeling exposed all over again.

What do I do...?

Crystal sensed the internal conflicts of the angel and the demon, and realized that neither of them wished to fight. The fairy also probably would only fight to protect the demon. There should be an easy way to fix this... And she thought she had it. But first, she would request Dream's opinion; maybe he could improve it.

She sent him her plan, and Dream silently agreed, showing absolutely no expression of any conversation to Violet. Satisfied, Crystal flew down closer, but still out of range. For her idea to work, she would have to come in at exactly the right time.

Holly awoke with a start. Looking around the house, she found it was empty. With a frown, she sat up, somewhat confused. What had happened? All she could remember was offering to clean up the remnants of that demon's work...

Concentrating harder, she realized that she had fallen asleep, in order to communicate with a summons from Heaven. Shaking her head, she couldn't bring to her mind what it had been about. With a shrug, Holly figured that when she needed to remember, she would remember.

For the more pressing problem, though, where was everyone at? Holly stood and stretched, then stood rigidly still, with her glorious wings extended and her hands in front of her.

Sending out her senses, she recognized the aura of the friendly Dream. She had liked him the most of all their crazy group and decided that she should try and catch up with him to find out what she had missed.

She flapped her wings and went soaring out through the window. She found him easily enough and alighted on the ground a distance behind him, recognizing yet another tense situation was at hand.

Dream sensed her presence, and decided to contact her. He couldn't figure out who it was, but he could soon find out. He sent a message to Crystal, who in turn used her power to connect with Holly's mind. As Dream sent her messages, she could relay them directly to Holly. Hello, there, who are you? Don't come too close, somethings happening up ahead. Just use the connection to telepathically send your name, I'll get it. This is Dream, by the way, using a fairy to send you a message.

Miu watched as the two went away. She was left, standing alone now. "um, What now?" she whispered to herself, then decided to follow them. She began running after them, hoping to catch up if they hadn't gone to far.

Violet shrugged,
"I've lived at someone elses mercy for 150 years and i'm doing fine at the moment," she mumbled, remembering the planned assasination. Shaking her head she looked around to see if they were any closer to the problem when she spotted Miu running after them. Without really thinking Violet began to march forward towards her, remembering a little too late about her promise. With a groan she jumped into the air, cursing under her breath

Miu saw the Violet and Dream. To her, Violet looked mad as she came towards her. Miu stopped running, "Hi again, I thought I should come with you two just in case" she gasped.

Shrugging again Violet slowly descended back to the ground.
"Fine, but don't sneak up on demons like that...seriously, for your own safety," she replied, her voice soft and cold.

"Okay, I won't, I didn't mean too either" Miu replied, as she watched Violet carefully.

Violet didn't reply, her emerald eyes shining brilliantly in the darkness. Looking up she frowned,
"At this rate by the time we get to Hell everyone will be on their shifts," she grumbled, running a hand through the strands of her long, black hair.

Haucon shifted his weight from foot to foot, trying to find good balance. In the event of an altercation he wanted to be in good standing. He glanced beside him at Leila. She had changed, and something had come over all her features. It was like a deep sadness, but he couldn't tell. He wanted to ask what was wrong, but if he did so now it might distract him from Liam. He looked back at the somewhat sunken yet still lethal looking figure. If he could talk to him, it'd make Leila feel better maybe, but he didn't trust Liam at all, especially after what he'd done to her.

Leila inched closer to Haucon before whispering, "He needs help, Haucon...something's not right with him. His eyes and his voice, they weren't the same when he grabbed me." One hand wrapped around his wrist, gripping it a bit.

Haucon felt Leila's small hand grasp his wrist, her whisper shocked him out of his thoughts. "I know...but I don't trust him at all." he said back to her. "How do we know that he isn't some deceptive nut who makes people think he's helpless as bait before attacking them!?" He cracked his neck to loosen up before looking at her. "We gave him every chance to show he meant no harm, and what's he done in return?" he asked. "I just don't know what to do anymore!" he said, torn between attacking and forgiving. "I'm not as kind as you Leila. I can't do it. I don't trust people so easily..."
