::tears welled in her eyes as she put a hand to her cheek where Ran had smacked her. it stung, but what hurt more was her own stupity at her actions.... she sinks down to sit on a step... Hikari was obviously heppy with Ran, so why had she done that? this wasn't any of her business.... it's not like Hikari asked for her help.... she was too new to the whole friends business to feel she could force feed Hikari advice..... maybe she should never have run away from home::

*Ran stepped outside and looked at her as his wings flew open* Not yet, we still need to talk a little. *The people around them looked in shock as Ran's dark wings flew open and he leaped into the air. He held Hikari tightly in his arms as they flew thru the cool clear sky. The night had grown slightly cooler than before and the city shined like the stars in the night sky. Ran flew them to "The Starlight Ring", the largest ferris wheel in the region and landed them on the side of a car. He opened the door and set Hikari inside. He stepped in and closed the door behind him, leaning against it* I'm sorry about this. This...is my fault... *Ran felt his tone drop and looked to the floor of the small booth. He regretted having put Hikari in such an uncomfortable situation but he couldn't have helped but feel that, even if for just a moment, they were truly happy together. Yet, was what he was doing wrong? Of course it was, but he didn't care. He loved Ranpha and Hikari, he just didn't know what to do. So here he was*

Hikari stayed quiet as Ran flew her to where ever it was he was going. She felt very guilty by now......she had to do something as soon as Ran would bring her back to Kuroi's appartment. She opened her eyes and saw where they were. Her eyes lit up for a moment before reflecting the guiltiness she felt inside. She sat in the car with Ran next to her. Her head was down looking down at her lap. She waited a few moments before speaking. Her voice soft and almost steady...her tears had stopped for a while and she was trying hard not to continue crying...tears wouldn't help at the moment.... "It's not your fault....it's partly mine as well......I...I'm sorry for putting you in this of position Ran....you should be with Ranpha here....not me.....if you think I'm hating you by saying this....hating you for what you did or said...then my answer is no....I just wish I knew why....but then that's life isn't it?.....Never understanding why things happen only that they do....."

( eek eek eek eek eek eek stare stare hikari.... gonk gonk gonk gonk you bet i'm going to... i'm gonna be more active and WHOOP YOUR BUTT RAN!!)
She opened her eyes...a feeling of utter forboding encased her soul and she shuddered. Sitting up she felt feverish and drained...though all in all, she felt better than earlier. She did not know of the sinful activity between the angel and the demon.... if she did she would probably kill herself right then and there... but for now she could only feel the unsurity of how she felt.
She stood, no longer would she be kept in this apartment...she wanted to help Ran... So she gathered anything that belonged to her and took off... leaving a note as to where she was going.
she had her sword strapped to her belt once more as she stepped outside and took a deep breath "I'm Coming to help you Ran..." she said in a confident tone, though she felt as if something was wrong... slowly her intuition died down and she felt confident that she'd find Ran and all would be well...little did she know that after a couple more turns... she'd want to rip her heart out, slice it in half, feed it to hungry rats and then do it all over again.

((Welcome back! Uh, he still loves Ranpha, he's just...uh...yeah. And dun worry, the butt kicking is fully expected. sweatdrop ))
Kari I... *Ran rubbed his head with his hands and bit his tongue. This was starting to all come back to haunt him. This love for Hikari was one that shouldn't have been expressed. He should have had the strength to hold it back, but he didn't. He looked over at her and leaned his head against the glass window* Kari...I won't deny that I love Ranpha. I really do but... *He shook his head and looked out the door window. The night sky was clear the stars were as bright as the city below them. He hoped to find his answers in the stars but nothing was to be found. He closed his eyes slowly* ...but I love you as well.

Haruka blinked her head cocked to one side looking at Cain, "Hai!" She flapped her wings taking the air looking around and blinked slightly seeing a girl sitting on a step aka november.
She fluttered down, "I think I found her.." She tugged on Cain's hand, "Hurry slow poke!"

...I...I should end this...before more get hurt.......I already know I'm in trouble with Nov...and probaly most likey with Kuroi and Cain.....and Ranpha will hate me.......and to be honest....I wouldn't really blame her..... Hikari thought. She listened to Ran still with her head looking down at her lap. No tears were falling...atleast not yet. She gathered her thoughts once more. Trying to find the right words to say....she soon found them and spoke. "...Ran.....you can't love two people......only one in which you will give your heart to....and you gave your heart to Ranpha...and she gave you her heart in return...."

Where is that written?! What law states that?! *Ran's words grew heavy but he tried to restrain himself from yelling. He knew that this was tough for her as well and didn't want to cause her anymore grief* ...I can't help how I feel about you anymore than I can help how I feel about Ranpha. My heart is split and I'm not sure what to do. Maybe... *Ran got to his feet, opened the door and looked back at Hikari* Maybe I should take a moment to find out what it is I need to do. *With those words spoken Ran leaned over and kissed her once more, dropped backwards and freefell for nearly 30 feet before spreading his wings and taking to the night sky. Hikari would need some personal time as well and this would be an ideal opportunity. It would take roughly 15mins before Hikari would find herself at the bottom of the Ferris Wheel with the operator holding the door open for her*

Hikari listened to Ran....she felt his kiss before he left..not even watching to see him go...she didn't even yell at him for leaving her at the Ferris wheel or how to get back to Kuroi's appartment. She felt the guiltiness on her shoulders grow heavier. Her head still bent, her hands in her lap as she clenched her pants. Her bangs covering her eyes as tears slowly fell. A million thoughts went through her mind..wondering what to do...her tears soon came to a stop as the car came back down on the ground, with the operator holding the door open for Kari. Her hair covering her face as she slowly stepped out of the car...she didn't want people to see her tear stained cheecks.
She slowly began to walk...to where she didn't know and at the moment didn't care...she passed by a phone booth and wondered should she call Kuroi? No, she pushed that thought away from her mind....she wanted to be alone now...not to be seen or herd by anyone....she continued to walk...wondering how she could do this to her friend Ranpha..would she forgive her? Would Cain, Kuroi or Nov forgive what she has done to Ranpha or to Ran.....she placed her hands in her pockets as she walked...trying to comprehend what happend and how to fix this mess she was in.

Cain quickly ran where Haruka showed him, seeing November crying on the steps he sprinted up the stairs and quickly took her into his arms. "November, November. Are you alright? What happened?" He could see her cradling her cheek and kissed her on the forehead.

Haruka blinked standing a good distance away not wanting to interfere her head cocked to one side. Thats the girl I saw with nii-chan when I first met him...I wonder whats wrong..

Cain held her relatively tightly, now angry at Ran for slapping November. "Shh, calm down. I need you to tell me what happened, just calm down a minute. I'll take care of it, I just need you to tell me what about Ran and Hikari." He kissed her on the top of the head and wrapped his arms around her, for once wishing he still had his wings.

::she doesn't say anything for a moment, just resting in his arms and taking comfort from his strength. all her doubts from before seem rather weak, but that only brought more doubts to her mind. shoving those aside, she says softly:: i was... was... walking and... i came here... don't remember why... and i saw Ran holding Hikari... like.. well... like they were an item i guess... like they were in their own little world.. i... had seen what he had done to that angel before and thought that he was just doing something to Hikari to hurt you or something so i... lost my temper and... and hit him... and well, he hit me back and left with Hikari...
