"Looks like i will have to tell another little story so everyone needs to take a seat" She at down " About 70 years after the war i was hired to investigate a series of disappearences in an area in the north that was rumoured to be where all fiends origionated. I don't know if that is true, but i'll give you 3 guesses where. Anyway it was good pay so i go.
Basically it's a large area that is absolutely swarming with fiends, many of them stronger than anything i have ever encountered. There were a lot of demons around and of course thats not good when your a traitor. So they decide to try and butcher me and feed me to the other fiends.
I don't remember a great deal of that. They got me pretty messed up but somehow i survived." She gave out a small sigh "Thats the basics of what happened " Seph took out her flask and drank some water "But that was over a century ago so things might be a bit different now"

Oassu raised an eyebrow "Sounds like a charming place but that don't explain why suddenly the Abyss has started destroying cities at random"
Alex walked over "The cities ain't bein destroyed just replaced" Itaka looked at him surprised "Yo neva told me about this?" he said Alex sat down and drunk some of his wine "Well I was originally forbidden to until we met up with them top secret y'all should know" Oassu was intrigued "What do you mean 'replaced' they were destroyed" Alex took another swig from the bottle "Y'all should know truth first" he paused "Firstly I ain't a mercenary hired to whoop y'all a**. I'm a secret government agent from a division set to investigate dark powers very hush hush an all. Anyway a while back we discovered a dark energy source so we didn't wanna risk one of our agents on an investigation as our studies showed dark energy was dangerous so we hired someone to check it out and badaboom that's where Seph comes in" Oassu was surprised "So you knew about it all along?"
Alex spat "Yip anyway way back before i was born the government noticed this power and thus set up our division to study it. The power spread from that place worldwide but the power stopped spreading soon. Recently it started spreading again and we collected it to make various weapons and tools like this" he pulled out the gem "This is our latest advancement in dark technology it can absorb and control dark powers which is how Itaka got so strong." he pocketed it "Anyway just recently power spikes have been coming from the place we related that to the attacks on Colisa which our spies in the thieves guild informed us of"
Oassu was puzzeled "Spies? We don't got no spies"
ALex laughed "Yea ya do just good ones....remember Jenna?"
"No way! Jenna?" Oassu said

Seph laughed "You honestly believe you can capture it's power!?" Seph's tone became more serious, "Even if you did you would destroy everything in the process. Our planet is not so simple, you obviously do not know how it works." she stood up "I'm not going to claim that i know everything there is to know about the world, but i do know the effects it would cause. I am not the end bringer. you are."

"What?!" Felina didn't like the idea of collecting dark energy but seph's outburst seemed a bit extreme unless the demon knew something else she didn't why does everything have to get so much more complicated.

Alex smiled "You having proven yourself an endbringer call me an endbringer?" He sighed "Stupid Mercenary you don't know anything do you?" he took another drink of wine "When you fought with Itaka you unleashed a high-power attack the power came from bein an endbringer while that power did not destroy him it is merely because you are a weak one. We also studied Endbringers from other worlds at the agency they where much more powerful than you and yes one day humanity may well destroy it's self one day an endbringer is one who destroys the world through power. You may not know it yet but another reason I was sent was to watch you y'see y'all don't understand nothin bout the abyss it fills dark creatures with power. Way back at the end of the war the Demon king was destroyed there THEN the abyss appeared so we believe that since the demon king, also the last endbringer, died there the abyss is actually the power of the endbringer and since Seph has developed minor powers of the Endbringer. As she gets closer to the abyss she'll get more powerful" he grinned manically "and more evil and so eventually when she gets there she'll absorb the power and well.....lets just say Ultimaja will be her weakest spell plus she'll probably be so twisted by then that she'll just anniahlate us and the world by then." he smiled grimly after another drink "She already has begun to turn as proven earlier when she refused to help Kimino fight against Itaka despite him issuing a challenge to them"
Oassu bit his lip, Kimino snorted and Itaka looked questioningly at her.
Alex laughed and grinned "Course it's all just theory right now"

Itaka grunted "hmmph We'll see but so far we haven't found any power in light and Dark technology is leading the world but for now" he finished the bottle and yawned "It's getting dark so I'm gonna go to sleep g'dnight y'all" he keeled over and the bottle glowed and refilled itself.
Itaka shrugged and took the bottle "Must be this technology of his?" he sighed and had a drink
