*Shunketsu smiled hearing about the two talk about their training, but his head was preoccupied with other thoughts, he was intent on trying to get there before that shadows do, maybe the crystal was there...if it was, their priority was to get there asap...*

::Shiko continued to run fast to beat the shadows but she laughed on the way::
"Yes, all the fun days, training and sweating in the sun. Just to get blown away by a sandstorm..Got to love it! But now that I'm to be the next Kazekage, I'm getting tortured by him."

::the shadows paid little attention to the surroundings and kept heading towards the melodic sound::
::the scene played out in front of them, the ground near the left wall had split open, the sounds coming from inside the fisure. Shadows from all around the village were gathered around it, and standing infront of them was a man who actually seemed to be solid and not made of the same shadowy substance::

::Shiko stopped before she came to the fissure and stared at the man with wide eyes, she noticed how different he was from the shadows. *thinks* Great, someone else to be our enemy most likely, they seem to flock around us a lot these days * Shiko stand up straight and continued to look at the man, she felt scared but also curious::

::the shadows seemed to hover around, restless and anxious, but did not make any moves towards the fissure. The man was waiting for something it seemed. He looked down within the depths of the fissure and waited::

::Shiko regain courage and walked towards the man, she stopped close to the fissure::
"What is your purpose here? Is there something you need?"

::Motoko stopped near Shiko and was surprised by the man. She then whispered to Aiko.::
"Do you recogognize this man Aiko?"
::The shadows grouping around the fissure gave her an uneasy feeling, but as long as they weren't making any moves, it was alright.::

*if the others had taken the time to look around, Shunketsu was nowhere to be found...he was now sneaking around to the opposite side, hiding behind piles of rubble...*
thinks: if this guy is an enemy, the element of surprise is better than confronting him from one side...

::Shiko sensed Shunketsu, but she did not change her look or respond to anything. All she did is continue to stare at the man, she had a feeling she knew what Shunketsu was up to::

::the man turned, sowing neither surprise nor anger and gave shiko a smile, showing off perfect pearl like teeth. The shadows moved to converge on Shiko, but the man held up a hand and they stopped::
::Aiko clung to motoko and shook her head:: no...hes not from here...
::strands of darkness moved from the man's hand and wrapped around shiko, as if searching for something, and pulled back in a flash, holding aloft the flute that was given to her by the twins::

::Shiko was rather surprise, she did not know what he was doing. She manage to look up at him and notice he had taken the flute from her. Shiko growled angrily::
"Give me back the flute!"
::Without Shiko even realizing what she was doing, she did a few hand seals and sand started to lift her up, she was now eye level with the man::
"I said give it back to me now! You have no right taking it from me!"

::the man just continued to smile and turned, the shadows now taking the chance, and apparently given permission, to converge on shiko. Those who were not occupied with shiko turned their attention to Motoko and Aiko, swiftly moving towards the two::

::Shiko did a few hand seals and a sand barrier started to move around her she then started to sing a song, hoping it would calm down the shadows. *thinks* I have to do something! I cannot just let this happen! * Shiko moved out of the way, the sand she was riding on got larger.Shiko continue to sing::
