AraTeran Teh Sena Oh ho, I'm such a trendy biznatch. So we have a flaming lesbian sophmore at school, who is a friend of mine. She isn't very feminine, and I didn't really care about it until recently when she mentioned that she'd like to be more feminine, but didn't know how. Because I'm just so fabulous, I'm giving her a complete makeover. Hairstyle (which I cut for her myself today after school) and we're doing wardrobe and makeup this weekend. After that I just have to teach her to not slouch (she's only 5'8" and slouching) and how to put in contacts. I should have my own TV show. Heh, that's awesome. Good luck with the contacts thing; make sure she doesn't put them in backwards. Although I am sure you probably know that already. I have contacts, I put them it whichever way they go in. o3o The eye doctor didn't say anything about backwards to me XD

They are the same on both sides. They aren't like condoms. I think you have a different kind then me. My doctor had to show me how to put them in with this whole "if it is like a bowl it is good; if the edge is flared out, it is wrong." And it hurts a lot if you mess it up. From http://www.innvista.com/health/ailments/eyeail/contlens.htm"To tell if the contact is inside out or not is important. Putting them in backwards may not affect the sharpness of vision, but it can irritate the eyes. In fact, if the eye begins to hurt as soon as the contact is inserted, it is likely inside out. There are two ways to check without putting them in. The first is to hold the lens on the tip of the finger and look closely at the rim. If it is pointing straight up like the edges of a bowl, it is turned the right way; but if the edges are flared out like a walking path along the edge, it is inside out. The second way to tell is to put the lens on the crease line in the palm of your hand and gently start to cup your hand. If the edges roll neatly toward each other, like they are forming a tiny taco shell, the lens is right side out but if it starts to fold backwards, away from the center, the lens is inside out. "Although my eyes got better and now I don't need either glasses or contacts. 3nodding

You know? I think I feel insulted. With how far pornography goes and how far the fetishes go, they've never had armpit-sex porn.

So my wife and I went to the hospital this evening because she was feeling a bit off, and with the baby due in a few weeks, we decided not to push our luck. She's having regular contractions, but the doctors don't think it's anything to worry about yet. So, we're back here at home and she's on bedrest. Chances are the baby will come a bit early, at which time I'll sign off for a while.

And again, congrats.

Do you know if the baby is a boy or a girl yet? Any names picked out?
On another unrelated note, I suppose I should consider the idea of sleeping at some point...I have been in and out of forums too much today. xp

[insert some witty double-edged comparison of babies to fruit]
Everyone needs a good night sleep. This is an order.
Also, I finished my application with 49 minutes to spare. Or it could have been 24 hours and 49 minutes. "Midnight, January 15th" is a bit too vague for my liking.
In any case, a large cause of stress has just been removed. I think I'm going to go read. *laughs* Read. READ! I CAN READ!!!

Thanks to those who replied whee
Yes, it's going to be a girl. We've settled on the name Aarilyn Sage, which I think will be cute yet sophisticated for later on in life. She's fully breach right now, so a c-section is necessary. That's going to be scheduled for Jan. 30th-Feb 3rd, but if she's already getting contractions, who knows. My wife is planning on staying home until the middle of March, so I'm hoping that she can help assist me take care of the baby in the evenings rather than just say "okay, your turn!" I'll still try to make time for myself, but yeah, it'll definitely take its toll.
Who knows, maybe in 12 years we'll see a poster in LI complaining about how her dad somehow...
