Nightpool followed showerstar and looked at Amberpelt as she said sh wanted to go to her kits " thank you Amberpelt for all of your help." she said wth a smile and looked back at showerstar what if i cant find the scent again what if. . . she thought as she looked at her leader.

Amberpelt bowed her head to Nightpool and Showerstar respectfully, before padding over to the nursery, where her two kits were romping around.

Showerstar nodded Amberpelt off. He looked at Talonstride and Lotusleaf. "I can see there is something to be said. What is it?" He asked.
Riverkit had a sour look on his face now, with he usually did anyways, but it was more grumpy now. He sighed, and stretched. Thistlekit wanted to walk up to her father and ask him what was going on, but she knew that she shouldn't.

Fernkit curled up next to her mother, looking up at her expectantly with wide green eyes. "I heard Willowcloud was hurt!" she squeaked.
Amberpelt ran her tail soothingly over her kits flank. "Yes, but don't worry," she said. "Dewleaf will take good care of her."
Nodding, Fernkit got up and padded over to Thistlekit. "Hi!" she mewed happily.

Autumnkit pounced on her mother, Amberpelt. "Hi mommy!" She squeled.

Amberpelt gently nudged Autumnkit off of her, only to have Fernkit pounce on her tail. "Okay, okay!" she meowed, happiness shining in her eyes. "You're getting a little rowdy for the nursery!"
"We're gonna be apprenticed soon!" Fernkit squealed. "I'll be known as Fernpaw, terror of FireClan!"

"Well, all great warriors need their rest," Amberpelt said, curling her tail around her kits, pulling them close to her.
"I'm not tired," Fernkit said sleepily, jaws parting in an enormous yawn.

Autumnkit curled up next to her mother drifting of to sleep. She dreamt of becomeing the leader of a clan and appointing her sister deputy.

When Autumnkit woke up, she saw her sister and mother was still sleeping. So, she crept out to see what she could find.

Autumnkit watched a beetle crawling on a rock outside of camp. As silently as she could, she stalked it. She pounced. She killed it with her paw on it. she pretended to cover it with some leaves. Then she saw a mouse.

Shadowsky woke in the warriors den. He rose then walked to the nursery to see his kits. He passed by Amberpelt in the nursery. Her two kits were friends of his. She was sleeping with her kits. But, Autumnkit was missing. He went over to Amberpelt. He nudged her, trying to wake her. "Amberpelt! Autumnkit isn't here!"

Amberpelt stirred, staring up at Shadowsky. "What do you mean?" she asked, looking over to her two kits... "Where's Autumnkit?!" she yowled, staggering to her paws.

"I'm not sure," Shadowsky said, "but I'll go look." Shadowsky ran out of the nursury and headed for the camp entrance, where her scent led.

Shadowsky headed back to camp. He carried Autumnkit by her scruff in her mouth was a mouse.
