Do you think that it might be because so many of the people from Durem were very unsportsmanlike? stare I kept getting people who swore or were very immature coming into the Barton board, or even when trying to make logical deductions, they were crude and rude with their responses.

Oh well, gaia is full of immature people, that's why I never go to the normal forums anymore.

Generalizations. Sure, people thought that the Durem dudes were being jerks, but some of it is psychological. There were the occasional few Duremers that visited Barton and apologized for their teamates' rude behavior. ^^ How kind.
They are quite organised, too. Check out their home forum - 90% of their threads are along the lines of: "Get your @$$es back to work and pump!"

I rarely visited the home forum of Durem, other than once or twice. I didn't much like the atmosphere, and I got into an argument with a girl... just pointed out that there were more *constructive*, *creative* and *tasteful* ways of going about trying to insult someone without resorting to the lowly realm of swear words. Oh, it was quite fun. xd Considering she had no idea what the heck I was saying! rofl "Big" words or infrequently used words often stump people apparently. cool twisted

Hey everyone! My name is Sentura, and I write a lot more poetry than I post. Most people don't know I also write and draw my own cartoon, which will probably end up on my deviant art site. If you'd like to see it, just ask. I'd prefer not to spam the place with my webpages.

Welcome, Miss Sentura. Nice name. ^^
Go ahead and post all your cartoons in the art sub. Maybe keep it one thread, though.

Welcome, welcome Lady Sentura! Your name is quite lovely, as Scooter has said. I truly look forward to reading and viewing your works. The poetry and art sections really love to be posted in, for they are hungry for knowledge and great art, so please, post away! whee
Duke: Indeed, there are a plethora of words at our disposal. 3nodding

But my favorite word is still cacophonous. ninja
Just say it, sounds wonderful! It really describes it's meaning.
