Charity giggled somewhat, gently touching her snack to her lips to test the temperature. "Do you usually rush into things?" the girl asked sweetly, nibbling on the churro as she looked at him.

"Always! I figure, why wait for anything? Any moment is opportune, I think," Brynjar rambled, smiling to her happily as he pulled a chunk off of his pretzel, popping it into his mouth.

She nodded, half in agreement. "But sometimes you should be careful, because then you burn yourself," Charity insisted before taking a larger bite of her snack. "But I think that waiting for other things can sometimes take the excitement out of it."

"And I would be inclined to agree, miss Charity," he laughed. Starting on his nachos, he let out a small, content sigh.

The girl gave a small smile, drinking continuously from her slushee. Once she was able to force her mouth from the straw, she looked to the boy. "What are you doing here? Like, did you move here or are you just visiting?"

"Hmm, I'm not sure of that yet," Brynjar spoke, tilting his head in thought. "Maybe a permanent vacation," he chuckled. "Not that I would mind going home. Iceland is wonderful."

"Yeah, you seem to really like Iceland," she sighed happily, taking another bite of her churro. Charity looked to the snack, pouting at the fact that she was almost done with it. "Why did you come here to begin with?"

"I live to spread joy. I wanted to reach somewhere new," Brynjar replied simply, staring at his nachos with a sad but satisfied expression.

The girl watched him curiously. "Is something wrong?" Charity questioned, tilting her head somewhat. "You seem a little sad."

"People who feel wonderfully should always have a smile on their faces then!" the girl exclaimed rather happily. "My new friend shouldn't look sad at all if he feels so nice." Charity finished what was left of her snack before licking the cinnamon-sugar powder from her fingertips.

Laughing loudly, he clapped his hands merrily. "That is true, Charity! I will take to that and smile brightly," Brynjar spoke loudly.

Charity smiled brightly, giving a nod before moving her mouth to the straw of her drink. She kept her eyes on the boy as she rather gulped her slushee without stopping.

Brynjar's overkill of a smile slowly faded, and he frowned, looking troubled. "Charity, dear, you're going to give yourself brain freeze," he warned.

She snorted a laugh, pulling away from the drink. "Probably, huh?" Charity giggled, closing her eyes and smiling. "So how long do you get to stay out?"
