Shoot the Web!
Aug 26th, Play 1, Start Tokens=19
Minami came back to play some more 'Shoot the Web.' She had played alot the other day and got fed up with it, but after a few days of rest it looked like fun again. Minami decided to leave Livvy somewhere else today so she didn't get on her case about playing games too much.
She placed two tokens on the counter and picked up the web shooter, aiming at the targets carefully. "Let's see if my luck's any better today," she said.

Minami applauded herself for her two of the three targets. That was a five token prize. Of course, she only earned three since the game costed two tokens.
Cost: 2 tokens; Won: 5 tokens = 22 tokens total

Minami decided to go another round. This game was so addictive. She got lucky the last time, so why not? Including her previous days' games, she had yet to hit all three targets. "This time I'm gonna do it for sure!" She laid down another two tokens and picked up the web shooter. "Come on, hit all three!!"

"Only one!? That's not fair! You'd think I'd get better the more I play!" Minami was frustrated that she'd only one her tokens back.

Prize cash-in!
Hedoro was walking around the festival and feeling pretty good. She'd done well in the games and she picked up a soda from the food stand. she hadn't actually drank it yet, but she would when she had the chance. Her pockets jangled with lots of tokens, she seemed to have pretty good luck at the games. As she went past several brightly-decorated booths, something small caught her eye.
Turning to look at it closer, she saw something that surprised her. It was a small animal, and what's more it looked kind of like a slime! Instantly intrigued, she approached the vendor and asked about the animal. He told her it was called a Rachisu, and that they made excellent pets. Normally they had to be caught in the wild, but this one was a prize at the fair. Hedoro already felt a kinship with it, since they were kind of the same, so she asked how to win it.
The man told her that she didn't have to win it, it was a flat exchange. Hedoro said she had plenty of tokens, how much? The man was originally going to say 35 tokens, but hearing this brought out his inner entrepreneur. He seemed to hesitate, and told her it was an even hundred tokens.
When Hedoro heard the triple digit number, she paused for a moment, shocked at how expensive the pet was. This moment passed; she had that much, she couldn't let it be a prisoner any longer. She told him she'd take it, and the man thanked his lucky stars she hadn't even bothered to haggle.
She passed over a lot of her tokens, substantially reducing the amount in her pockets, and was ahnded the small cage the Rachisu was kept in. Reaching a gloved finger in to try to reassure it, she saw it bite her, at least as much as a slime creature could bite. It didn't hurt, so she let it, all the while whispering words of comfort to it. Making her way out of the festival, she looked for somewhere secluded. It took some time, at this point in the day there were quite a few students strolling around. But finally, she came to a small grove set off the beaten path. Setting the cage and the soda down, Hedoro began to open the door to the cage. It was a tricky latch, it took some time to open. When she did, she left the door open, and backed up.
Slowly, the Rachisu left it's prison, and seemed to stare at her for a moment. She gestured to it; it was free to go. It didn't need a second warning, it was gone. Hedoro watched it squirm away and smiled under her disguise; maybe it would find apartner and happiness. She sat down and thought about her own situation. She was rather deep in thought, so she was rather surprised when she felt a gentle prodding at her side. Looking down, she could see the Rachisu sitting next to her. She tried to explain it was free now, but it didn't leave. Puzzled, she thought for a moment, then realized what it wanted. Something to eat. She picked up the soda bottle, some new flavor she'd never tried before, it had buble in the title, she hadn't payed attention when she chose it. Popping the top, she held it out to the Rachisu, who latched on quickly enough. She held the bottle at a level, so it could drink slowly without getting too much.
When the bottle was eventually finished, she stuffed it in a pocket. She was no litterbug. The rachisu still hadn't left, though, but she didn't have any other food for it. She tried to shoo it away, but it refused to go. Sighing, she asked it if it wanted to stay with her. As far as was possible, it seemed to nod, hopping onto her leg. She smiled despite herself, the little critter might make a good companion. She said it could stay, but that it'd need a name, she didn't want to call it 'it' or 'slime', because names like that were rather offensive to slime-folk.
Getting to her feet, she let it crawl up her side until it perched on her shoulder, nuzzling against her cheek. She couldn't really feel it, but that was okay. She knew it was there. As she walked back to the more frequented areas, she debated what sort of a name would suit her new companion?

Minami wanted to try her luck at Shoot the Web again. The last round wasn't very promising. She still had yet to hit all three targets. She wanted to most likely turn in her tokens for Ria High Credits, but she wasn't sure yet. She might just save her tokens for the next event. Minami laid down the two tokens she won back from the last game and picked up the web shooter once again.

"Oh no! That was my worst game ever! I didn't hit any!" Minami had lost two tokens that round. But it wasn't all bad. She did get three tokens for getting all odds.

Frustrated with her loss of two tokens, Minami fished through her pockets for some more. She laid down another two tokens, hoping to do much better this time around. She picked up the web shooter and aimed at the cursed targets she'd failed to hit at all in the last game.

"Yes!" Minami exclaimed. Even though she didn't hit all three targets, she got five tokens for hitting two and three extra tokens for getting all odds! That definately made up for the loss in the last round.

Usagihana jumped up to the platform with the webshooter held between her forpaws. The strange little rabbit-lion-cat-dog-bird-wolf-fox shaped android was very awkward sitting this way. Her long tail glistened as she hooked it on the trigger. Every metallic inch of her hummed, trying to figure out how she was going to aim this... this mechanism... in such an awkward position. Rivera said that it was hard to play without seeing anything. She thought it was hard to play... being completely metal. How was this going to work? "Yosh! Let's try this!" With a clumsy crack, she pulled the trigger.

"WHAA!!" Usagihana did a little dance, "I scored actually! Kyuu!" With an enthusiastic grin, as displayed on her LCD face panel, the android shifted a newly loaded gun into position to fire again. "My first shot was really good luck... I wonder why Kai isn't trying this..." She looked over her shoulder. Kai appeared to be napping under a tree... "Man... he must be wiped! Oh well, all the more fun for me then!" Usagihana aimed the shooter and decided to try her luck again. She predicted she'd get crappy shots... but oh well, who cares? She wasn't made to be a gunning android. "Fufufu... let's go!" She once again gave the trigger a clumsy pull.

Usagihana jumped up onto a new platform... "Why are these games all so hard to handle?" She made a face. Throwing four dolls into a van? And what was she supposed to throw with? Her EARS? Well... it's worth a try... Levering the doll onto her tail, Usagihana tossed it up right above her head. Her long ears flicked forward, batting each doll towards her target in this fasion... almost like... tennis!

"Usagihana wanna try again!" Usagi pranced about, happy about this... bonus, whatever it is. She was using Rivera's tokens... but Rivera didn't mind her taking it. Rivera doesn't play these games very well. With her powers back, chances were that she'd destroy something by throwing it or shooting it. Her powers spill over her and out of control. "Let's try this again! My luck ish funny... "
