oh there are many..I loved Liar Liar, but thought he was cute in the role of The Grinch...^^, and lastly Bruce Almighty ^^ that love scene he did had me ballin with laughter ^^

Really Scoot? You should check it out, it's definitely one of my faves. I wouldn't recommend any of the ones after it but they're worth seeing too I suppose.

No, I'd love to see it, but I've never had the oppurtunity. I've asked my gf to see it with me, but she's already seen it plenty of times, and there's the homework...

It's Seven right now, and I have to get up for school tomorrow.
There's a meeting I have to go to tomorrow evening, around when my homework is done.
My gf's birthday is Wednesday, so I need to prepare on Tuesday, and hang with her on Thursday.
Friday is closing night for my sister's school play, so somewhere between Wednesday and then I need to spend time with her
And by this weekend, I'll have totally forgotten about some stupid action movie.
Story of my life. emo

Death to rip off american versions of asian horror movies i say !
i am so sick of rip off versions that are dumbed an dwaterd down they have no substance scream no suol of horror nothing ! its a fieakin shame on these people that take something a reduce it so much .
sorrry had to rant a bit but it makes me maddder than thell to see that they do this. what do you guys think ?

That happens with everything from ramen to pocky, anime to movies. We cannot try to be exactly like the others, so we make the same thing in our own way. I cannot say that it is better, but hey. I liked the Lion King even though it was nearly a complete copy of Kimba the White Lion.
I do agree that the whole "watered down" thing is irritating, but ranting about it will not change much unless you rant to the makers of movies. If you wish to revolt, simply do not buy the american version.
Think of it as..."We want to be like you, but in our own special way so we don't get sued for copyright infringement" or something of that nature. Deep breath, sir.
Speaking of which, any Dragonball Z fans here willing to see a Dragonball Z Live Action movie this year with a mostly American cast..?

Alright, Eddie Izzard has done a skit on America taking foreign films and remaking them. I do have to caution the viewer of this piece that there is rather long and strong language.
