((Wow... this thread comes to life when I'm not checking on it... whatever. I resign my post.))

Lily looked in desperation at ilandere. "Izzy, we have to find Artemis. He ran off... Charade, I'm Lily, from Third Earth, This is Izzy, from Cloral, and Ilandere from Zaada. We're all Travelers." She went over to Ilandere and placed a gentle hand on her friend's back. "Ilandere, Themba... this is the way it was meant to be. I know... i know it's hard, but we have to keep going. My territory won't wait till you're done greiveing, and... we need you, Ilandere." Quickly Lily got dressed and gestureed for the others to do the same.

(I'm sorry, Morzana. We sometimes things don't go as quickly as you'd like. WE'll be there as fast as we can.))

"We'll find Artemis, then we'll try to find my acolyte, Jake. If we can't find him... I guess we'll go to my house." After a minute, she pocketed the cellphone. "Is everyone ready? Then let's leave."

Angrily, Artemis sat back down and pulled his laptop closer to continue writing. Where did I leave off? Oh yes. I was being accused of being Saint Dane. I didn't know what to say or do. One of them, Izzy (from Cloral), demanded to see my ring in order to be identifiable as a true Traveler. Then she mentioned...Jade. The other Traveler. You two met her before, right? But anyways. I refuse to be compared to Saint Dane. He gets on my damn nerves. Well I have to go right now but, hopefully, I'll get to see you guys again. Artemis finished up and closed the laptop down. He packed it up and pulled out a cig and lit it. Once the cig was in his mouth, Artemis pulled out the little jumpdrive he saved his last journal on and pulled out his ring.
"Second Earth."
He touched the ring and it instantly came to life. He dropped the jumpdrive in and watched as his ring closed back up.

Ilandere tried her hardest to change into the right clothing, but her shoulder was still causing her incredible pain. She focused on the pain and trying to get dressed to keep from thinking of Themba but tears still rolled down her cheeks.

The shock of his death had finally worn off and she was beginning to think more clearly.

Didn’t even get to say goodbye . . .

Her head throbbed and her chest felt tight. she didn’t know how much longer she could go on without collapsing from her illness and exhaustion but she knew she wouldn’t get far.

Ilandere felt Izzy lift her and put her arm over Izzy’s shoulders. Izzy’s hands were strong but kind and gave her support. When they stepped out of the flume they were in a strange, unrecognizable place. Ilandere had only been to Zadaa and Cloral and she was not really in any hurry to see more. But, as fate would have it, there she was.

Artemis turned his head. He saw Lily, Izzy, Ilandere, and Charade standing near the entranceway to the subway. He waved them over.
"Hey guys. I forgot about the beauty of Earth when humanity finally goes right. Anyway. I have grave news. I saw Saint Dane."
Artemis rubbed his shoulder. He smiled forcibly.
"Let's go find out what Saint Dane has done. Lily, you should lead the way. Shall we go to your house?"

"Charade, do you have a problem with Saint Dane? It looks like you can't believe Saint Dane is here already? Trust me. Being a Traveler, it will get very confusing. Press told me that. For some odd reason, he told me nothing. He said 'This is the way it was meant to be' or somekind of crap like that."
Artemis walked closer to them. He gave another false smile.
