Well, most of the foods they said not to eat, I didn't eat anyway. (I skimmed over the little pamphlet they gave me later.) But I still ate candy. One of my brackets fell off because I ate a Tootsie Roll. I think before that one of my little whatchacallums in my teeth, not a filling, a sealant, that's it, was broken off because of a Tootsie Roll. I stay away from them these days. Evil little dangerous candies....

One of these metal rings thingies fell off when I was eating butter toffes. But I just put them again, and called my aunt. She was like "There's no problem if you were able to put it" so I didn't mind. sweatdrop
Anyway, has anyone ever heard of Elfen Lied? It kinda scares me. There's too much violence to endure... Still, I can't stop reading it.

Never heard of it.... But I don't hear of many mangas. There's never too much violence. Okay, so there is. But I haven't seen it yet. I really should leave soon, to get ready. But we have nearly an hour before we leave. Yet I'm not nervous. How odd. I'm always nervous. About new things, at the very least. I'm betting my stomach will be twisting before we get in the car to leave.

Yeha, the written test to get my permit. Scary. But shouldn't be too hard, I hope. After all, the test to pass driver's ed was supposed to be oh-so-difficlut, but it was really simple. Kind of pathetic that people don't pass it very often.

Wow, a 16-year-old can drive at the US? eek Here we need to be at least 18...
I watched "The Others" yesterday... Because my friends made me do it. Wasn't that bad, actually. I got a bit scared, but in the end, it was a good movie. whee

15 and a half is the youngest you can get your permit. I took driver's ed at my school, which is a ten-week course there, shortly after I was 15 and a half, so that's why I didn't even apply for it until yesterday. But then we didn't have our birth certificates or anything, so we couldn't take the test. So we have to make an appointment for it at the DMV in Santa Monica, instead of here. And something just ocurred to me. At this DMV, they only give tests between 11:30 and 4:30. School doesn't end until 3:16, and we'd have to take the bus. Probably the #5, which doesn't seem to come very frequently. I wonder what time we'd get there if we did that.... Damn stupid birth certificates.... Though I admit that I don't really want to drive. I'm going to take the bus to school for as long as I can. It's easier, and I don't have to find a parking space. The times I've seen someone come in late to AM because they couldn't find a parking space....

I think they're upping the age to 16 soon here. But I'm not sure, I don't pay attention to these things. Don't really care. I've been reading way, way too much shoujo lately. Thankfully, I stopped with the romance books. I read three and got ully sick of them. It wa the same storyline in each book. Guy meets girl, guy falls in love with girl, girl falls in love with guy, guy tells girl that he's a vampire, they live happily ever after. Cheesy. Shoujo mangas seem to be similar, too. In the plots and such. Oh, well. It kills the boredom. I want Doubt!! already, dammit! I need to see what happens.

What is Doubt about I heard the name here and there... I was just curious if it is any good?

They need something, that's for sure. The buses stop too often, and htey take forever to get places some days. Though for only 25 cents, it's not too bad. But a subway would probably be better. That test can't be that hard. Considering how many idiots there are in the world, it can't be hard. They do want people to pass, don't they? If they didn't, then why would they give it in the first place?

No kidding. He never shpuld've run for governor. Stupid foreigners. (No, I have nothnig against foreigners, my sister's just gettng to me. That's what she calls my mom when she does something weird.) Or maybe it's just idiot actors. I'm in the middle of typing an essay for English. I get to try to act like Hakkai from Saiyuki would. It's not going so well. I wish I could find some way to put some of his better quotes into the essay, but none of them have anythnig to do with it. Which sucks, but I have to deal with it. Back to writing the evil essay!
