Years of formality took over, and Ori bowed to the main - Keir - again, politely. "I'm Ori." She didn't usually give information if she wasn't asked for it, but something in the back of her mind prodded her to keep talking. "I'm a waterbender, but I'm not nearly at master level."

Keir smiled and returned the bow. "Nice to meet you Ori," he said, brushing away a beaded braid that fell into his face. "And neither am I. My mother taught me the basics, but her skill were more inclined towards healing than the self-defense variety of waterbending. My parents suggested that I come up here to learn from a proper Waterbending Master."

"People always say that. No Earthbender bends up here. If they do and not know that there's Earth EVERYWHERE, then they might not get enough training done."
Jin looked at Linh. Every moment she stayed, Jin had to keep looking. He doesn't know why but he still does.

"It's nice to meet you, also." She smiled back for a moment, hesitant, before her face returned to its usual serious expression. So he was a waterbender, then. "My parents taught me also, but they only ever learned what was necessary for their lifestyle. Anything else I know, I've taught myself."
She didn't tell him that she had been unable - that she didn't have permission - to find someone to teach her. It wasn't relevant.

"I knew there was earth here, it just didn't really pop up into my mind." She explained to Jin after turning to him. She then turned and looked at Johan and sighed, knowing that Jin was still staring at her. I know I'm gorgeous but geeze, come on man. At least look away everynow and then. She thought to herself as her cheeks began to turn a bit pink. She was a little uneasy not knowing why he was staring but at the same time se was glad he was at all. She doesn't really know what she looks like. She can only get an idea of wat she looks like by touch.

((Keep your pants on clyde...))
Jonah turned away from his pillar to add into their conversation. He wasnt' here just for training, but he always welcomed a spar or two just to have some company. But if that wasn't the case, he could always talk with whoever was around. Either way worked in his mind.
When he turned around, Jonah observed something he hadn't previously taken into consideration; Lihn's eyes. They looked somewhat off color, a certain eye trait that only a blind person has been known to have. This let Jonah assume that Lihn was blind, and he was willing to play the 'bold observation' card
"Lihn? Are you... blind? How can you see?"
This really peaked Jonah's curiosity, since he'd only heard of earthbenders being able to see with earthbending if they were blind. Jonah knew Lihn was not an earthbender, so how she managed to point out Jonah was beyond him unless there was something more to her than he knew about.

OOC|| Haha. You're funny.
IC|| Linh peacked around the pillar and looked at Jonah. It took a minute for her to rejester what he had said in her mind. She was surprised it took him so long to ask, but then again people don't normaly try and see if others are blind or not.
"Yep," she said in a pearky tone. "Well, ever since I was little I could....how do I put this.....sense heat. And after I was blinded I could only see the heat. It's kinda har for me to explain but that's how."

Jonah was amazed at this revelation, seeing someone who couldn't see, but yet could see in a different way. It was amazing! He didn't think it was possible, but if an earthbender could do it, he supposed other benders had ways of moving around when they're blind.
"Wow.... I would have never guessed..."
After a moment of thought on the subject, he theorized how waterbenders would be able to see when they're blind by finding the moisture in their surroundings, and blind airbenders acting like bats through the use of airbending. It all sounded plausible, but Jonah wasn't willing to test the theory.
With his arm stretched out towards the earth tent, Jonah extracted a piece of stone from inside the tent, making it latch onto his parka and bring it to hiim via earthbending. His upper body was practically numb, so he wasted no time putting on the parka.

((Yeah!!! Royoko is back!!! WhooHoo!!! Party, party!!! blaugh )
Jin looked up from the tent. Looking at the sky made him feel a bit hungry. The blueness of it was like an ocean and the clouds were like fish. GROWL. Jin's stomach was getting hungrier everytime he looked at the sky. Then, he reached for his backpack and searched inside for some food. Luckily, Jin had leftovers of oranges in his pack. Three were left.
"You guys hungry? I got some oranges if you want."
Jin held them up and showed all three of the oranges to Jonah and Linh.

Linh smiled at Jonah she thought that he was one of te best benders around espetialy with earth bending. She couldn't sull object closer to her with her fire bending. She could only burn stuff. She was very jelous of people who could control the other elements, but she was still happy she could atleast bend fire, let alone create it.
"Uh.." Linh paused. She didn't want to seem rude and take someones food wo she ha just met, but he did offer. "Sure. Thanks." She said gratefully as she began to peel away at the orange.
Then looking at Jonah she remembered that she still had much training to do. But she could relax for a little while and think of some new moves to try by watching Jonah.
"I wonder how strong Jin is." She whispered outloud but didn't realize it
OOC|| Finaly a good sized (for me) post. xd

Jonah looked over to where Jin had brought out some oranges. It had been quite a while since Jonah had any fruit, since he mainly preferred meat. But what the heck; some fruit was healthy. In fact, he wasn't sure why they had no fruit at the feast they had in Omashu. All he remembered was that there was a good-sized mountain of meat.
"Sure. I'll take one."
Jonah ate the whole orange, biting through the peel and chewing it all. He didn't discriminate between fruit and peel, since pretty much all fruits were the same. Apples were personally his favorite, but he would eat anything.
As Jonah turned back to his bending pillar, he decided what to do with it. Since he was bending, he was thinking of what technique he hadn't done yet. There was always something he wanted to do, but since he was kinda braindead at the moment, he just roundhouse kicked the pillar with his heel, knocking it off of it's foundations and letting it fall onto the snow with a dull 'thud'. It was actually kind of sad really; the stalagmite wasn't even that big.

The corner of Keir's mouth quirked. There was something strange about this girl--but he couldn't put his finger on it. He shrugged it off. "That sounds sensible. After all, no need to learn to bake if you don't eat sweets, as my gran says. But, I'd feel more comfortable being able to defend myself better with my Bending. What I'd like to do would require me having to travel a lot, and some places can be dangerous."

Ori did her best to stomp hard on her curiosity, but she couldn't stop a question from slipping out. "Oh? What would you like to do?" She instantly regretted saying even that. Too many questions would just lead her down roads she didn't need to be taking...but it was too late now. She'd said it.

There it was again. Something was definitely up with this girl. The uncomfortable rigidity of her stance, the small tensions in her facial expression. What was wrong? Keir tried to ignore it. "I'd really like to be a musician," he said, trying not to let on that he knew something was wrong. "Which requires travel. And, unfortunately, it's not always easy or safe to travel in some places. So, I figure if I can get a good handle on my Bending, I'll be all set."
