The zombie hoard taken care of, Heidi lowered Matilda so she pointed at the ground, but kept her summoned. She frowned. Still no sign of Tuck.
She moved forward, searching every face for Tuck. No, no..
"Has anyone seen Tuck..?"

Dakota didn't bother responding to Ami's jab, stalking off to the exit she was already heading too and opening the door. His head shot out, looked left and then right. To his right, he could see the lumbering slow movements of what seemed to be an infected, though he didn't know who it was. (Whats up Tuck)
To the left, clear and free hallway.
He shot a look down to Ami before nodding his head off to the left. "That ways clear. Right's got an infected. I'll handle that and you can just...go do whatever you need to do." He took a stationary position outside the door, drawing Chama and sighing.
Pain pain pain. he was in so much pain.
And his heart hurt more then ever. Julie had appeared to him in the worse way, and now he couldn't unsee what she was, what she had become. he hated deus for this, for leaving him in the sahara, for even becoming a hunter. He hated and hated and seethed.

JUST ACKNOWLEDGING, not doing anything till u say so bby
Stormy frowned a little, then nodded. The lights came on with another whrr, thank God, and she promptly followed Sherry back up to the main room. Her left leg was still shot with pain, but she was managing so far.
At least it wasn't as chaotic anymore. People were taking out the leftover infected, and it was easier to make out individual people: Evan was by a demolished wall, Gale had been luckily spared in the mess...but no sign of either Jake or Tuck. Her heart twisted as she heard Heidi call out.
The Moon probably wouldn't be friendly towards her now, but she had to try. "Heidi," Stormy called with a worried look. "I haven't seen him either. Let's look together?"

It didn't seem like he could get in a hit either to the infected Finn; either his revenge had been sated or he was just really terrible at countering when anyone was actually going after Noemi - because Finn had actually attempted to go after the Mist.
Milo grit his teeth when Koume simply hit air. "Naah, he's tricky to get, ya?"
It was at this time that he noticed Lucky had... disappeared somewhere - sad - and the others were wondering about Tuck. "Haven't seen him since we got into the room."
Noemi squeaked as Finn came at her, holding the trident up to keep him from biting her (if he even did that). Thanks to the uh, weapon strength and her footing, she managed to keep just far enough away from that foaming mouth.
"S...I'm...so sorry Finn." She swung her trident again, smacking the moon hunter with it. Just...knock out soon Finn. Noemi is terrified of you and your foaming mouth.

The flashlight found him again, illuminating him in blinding brightness, and Ripley instinctively shrank back, trying to avoid it's telling glow. If the light caught him, they'd see him. If they saw him, they'd target him. If they targeted him, well...it was lights out, he was sure of it. The owner of the light was saying something that sounded awfully reassuring, the sort that was immediately translated as luring into a false sense of security. He wasn't going to fall for that. Not again.
The words turned into harsh yells, and the I'm not going ANYWHERE was quickly translated to You're going to die in here by his unstable brain. Of course Lucky wasn't going anywhere; he had him trapped here. It was only a matter of time before he found him. Before they found him. As long as he stayed in the darkness, as long as he avoided the rest of them, he had a chance. He could make it out. He just needed to be clever, and to avoid as many allies-turned-drooling-enemies as he could manage.
Flashlights and Weapons were out of the question. He had seen too many flashes of light end with vicious attacks. So the terrifying darkness was his salvation as much as it damned him, though he felt instantly better the moment his back pressed up against something solid and cold; a wall, unyielding and without the promise of bursting with horrible, pungent fluid. This was good. He could work with this. Now all he needed was to get around the group in the dark and--
The lights came on, flickering their horrible brightness down onto the room, showing him everything. Everyone as they were, the hoards and fellow Hunters alike. Every single one of them was infected, and, as he pressed his back even closer against the wall, he realized everyone was looking for him. They were turning on each other, attacking one another, and the only logical reason he could think of as to why, was because of him. The last remaining, healthy human in this whole space.
"S-s**t." He hissed to himself before he could even stop it, his jaw clenching so tightly his teeth ached, his lips only barely forming the drawn out word. There was no darkness to cover him now, and his only saving grace was that the lights now afforded him the brief luxury of looking around, trying to find an exit through the crowd.
For his trouble, he was awarded the sight of Finn, with blood and flesh smeared around his mouth and dripping to his chin, being attacked by the others. Something in the pit of his stomach plummeted, and a pain he couldn't place began to blossom in his chest; the best he could do was equate it to a deep regret, but over what he couldn't decide. He lifted a shaking, gloveless hand and pressed it to his mouth, stifling the urge to make a sound, or vomit, or both.
Okay, he told himself. Don't panic. Panicking will get you no where. You need to calm down, have a level head, and figure this out. There was a hallway there, but some more infected were filtering their way through it. The other direction yielded another one, levelling some others with a massive weapon. This was a disaster. A horrible, horrible disaster but- calm down. He'd make it through this. He'd be fine.
Maybe he just needed to find that red figure with the mask again? It was a thought at least, as he began walking slowly, his back so tight to the wall he was practically part of it, towards the only hallway he could see.

Ripley is NOT infected, but he is hallucinating and covered in a pungent, viscous fluid. He currently has 20 HP.
Finn lunged again and Noemi did the thing. She pushed him back with her trident once more, then wapped him over the head. Once he was still, she fell to her knees and made a small whimpering sound.
She didn't want to be here anymore, she wanted to go home. She didn't want to see blood or attack other hunters or anything anymore. She just...wanted...to leave....
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry Finn, i'm sorry..." she sobbed just a little bit, and started to curl into the tiniest ball. Her bravery had just run out and she had nothing left for this.
Tuck is infected on the 2nd floor, not in chains. Just checking to see what to do next! Is he capable of making it to the 1st floor?

Either someone (any pc chars) can find him or he can stumble downstairs towards food!

There was that moment of swelling pride to see Noemi holding her own, even if it was in such circumstances and having to go after one of their own. It wasn't that Milo never thought she was capable but, just seeing her fight and her attacks connect was pretty awesome. Though, it didn't seem to be going over very well with her in the long run and Milo watched as she gave Finn one final knock to the head and then crumple to the ground.
"MagiBlue!" The Sun shouted, concerned and was at her side as fast as he could manage. His naginata clattered to the ground beside him - the tengu was not in the least bit pleased but at least she was in arm's reach just in case - freeing his hands and allowing his arms to wrap around the tiny ball of Noemi. "You did awesome, MagiBlue!" He assured her, "knockin' 'em out is the way to help, you totally saved him." Well, from what he was hearing anyways.

"Fancy that," Nora echoed with a grin, not at all unhappy with the reassuring touch. She was about to call Abbi over again when she heard a voice.
Her voice.
What.
"Abbi, oi—Effect, Effect!" She hopes she got the right, if odd, call.
And the the lights came on. Thank the gods for some real orders, though she couldn't help but shudder at the thought of her close call. Monsters and ghosts, sure. Viruses and zombies and infections? Nope.
"That's the way!" Nora cheered as Milo and Noemi took out one of them. At least knocking them out meant there was a cure, which meant less killing and hopefully less of a mess. "What, not a fan?" she had to ask Cee, noting she'd named the poor fellow.
Movement along the wall drew her eye. She caught sigh of a man who looked particularly unnerved. "You alright there, mate?"

INFECTED - 20 HP The pain continued to get worse and worse, and Harlow had no other reaction but to sit doubled over trying to make it stop. She held her arm tight, she felt like the pain was spreading and not only that but she couldn't stop coughing.
And then that wasn't the only thing that was hurting. Her stomach hurt, she was so hungry. She stumbled up and looked around, where was she but more importantly where was something to eat.
Zoobey
Harlow shook the magic zoo ball, "Magic Zoo ball, where am I?"
Melusine went back to her totem form, the small star earrings in her ears as she lowered her head between her legs. She was so scared, she was so very scared and she couldn't not be scared anymore. Zombies, blood. Nightmares for weeks. She wondered now, if Stormy and Evan were right.
She wasn't meant for the field at all, she couldn't even handle knocking out Finn without crumpling to the ground. her hands had been shaking on the flashlight. She had needed Tuck to tell her orders, needed someone to lead her. And when she had no one, she had froze.
What's worse was that Milo had automatically put her for protection and she couldn't even manage to do the same for him. He was a sun and she was meant to be a moon for him and she had attacked. She was a crumpling ball of regrets and self defeat.
A muffled sob came again when she heard Milo reassuring her, felt him hug her and she reached for him. She relied so much on him, she wondered if he'd ever get tired of trying to comfort her and always protecting her.
"I can't Milo, I can't." She buried her head in his shoulder and heaved a sob, "I can't do this, I can't hit them, I can't hit anyone. I was so scared, and I keep saying I'll be brave but I can't. I couldn't help Tuck or Evan, I cou...couldn't-" She took a breath, "I don't know where Shu is, I can't stop..." Her hands shook even more then she wanted. "I want.....I want to go home." She pulled back and looked up at Milo, eyes full of tears but still a small sense of pleading in them. Just want to go home.

The need for food spurred him on. He didn't move fast, and he didn't move gracefully, but he moved with a purpose that spoke of a gnawing hunger. Tuck was no longer himself but a thing possessed, one thought running through his fevered brain.
He managed to move towards where food was, warm-blooded and pungent.
"Has anyone seen Tuck..?"
The words were a beacon to him, that multi-colored hair even more so, and Tuck lunged, swiping, ravenous, needy.
Evan finally spotted Stormy over there by Heidi, who looked lost and confused, but at least she had managed to find Tuck. He ran towards them as Tuck swiped at her, confused; he hadn't seen Tuck get bitten. "What the ********, man?" He said, reaching for Tuck's arm and trying to pull him away from her.
