Baylu smiled and giggled as she got the jutsu down the first try. "Yes," she said to herself. Then she wouldn't have to try the thing again. After a few moments, she saw that Myobi and Sumire had come back to their class. That meant that the girls were planning on testing to become genins! Aya was really excited now. She couldn't wait for the testing day.

Shinichi heard some noise and rubbed his eyes. He was dismayed to find that he had fallen asleep while training, although the current environment had taken quite a toll on him. Bah, it was still no excuse. The boy watched the class while in his sitting position, trying to figure out what they were doing. It appeared he had slept for too long though as Sumire-san and Myobi-san had arrived and the rest of the class looked like they just finished another exercise. A shinobi could, at least, try to gather clues from the surroundings and follow up from there.

"Welcome back," Koro said looking down at Shinichi. Taking the practice cloth out, he dropped it on Shinichi's head. "Are you ready to try out your new technique now?" the teacher asked, hoping the boy would be eager to get it over with. He probably wasn't all too thrilled about doing it, but Koro knew that he would push himself to finish it up. Especially since Aski, Kohki and Aya had completed it.

He nodded, more excited at the prospect of catching up with the class than actually learning this bothersome technique. However, it looked like he would get to hide so Shinichi eagerly accepted the assignment. Now this was definitely one of the more fun aspects of training. He took the cloth and focussed his chakra, forcing the cloth to blend in with the walls. Shinichi quickly removed it and hid himself underneath, taking care to flatten himself and not expose any limbs.

Koro counted to five just as he had done for the other three. Peeking one eye open, he spotted Shinchi hiding underneath his piece of cloth. "Almost," the teacher said. "Try again, Shinichi," Koro told him closing his eye once more.
[Edit: I was up until 3am posting last night. That usually doesn't happen.]

That usually didn't happen. Shinichi checked his body parts and found, to his surprise, that he had foolishly left a lot of his hair over the top of the cloth. He must be more fatigued than he thought. The boy replaced the cloth, sliding it over a piece of floor tile and tried to hide underneath. The thing was just large enough so that he could camouflage himself by squatting like a turtle, and still be comfortable enough so as not to fidget. To save himself the embarrassment, Shinichi tucked his head into his chest, thereby further decreasing his surface area.

[Yeah, tell me about it. >__< I had to get up at 9 am this morning. I'm so not a morning person...]
"What is that?" Sumire asked curiously. She definitely didn't understand how a piece of cloth was going to help anyone do anything. Except maybe keep warm. Shinichi looked a little tired, so she decided to cheer him up. Especially since she hadn't seen him in a little while. "Shinichi!" She gave him a hug and laughed. "You'd better wake up or Koro-sensei will get you, too!" She flashed her teacher a reproachful look. "He likes to tie people up."
Myobi shook her head at her cousin's antics. She decided that waving would suit the both of them just fine. "Hello, Shinichi." Studying the cloth that Koro had given the younger boy, Myobi wracked her brains to figure out what it was that he could be planning to do with that. The two girls had missed the earlier explanation about the technique.

Koro smiled as Shinichi got it this time. "Very nice job. I think you got it," Koro said and then took the piece of cloth from the boy. Grabbing two other, he handed them to Myobi and Sumire. "Aski, Kohki, Shinichi, Aya, why don't you guys go take a break and we'll meet back up in about an hour in the South end," Koro suggested to his other students. Myobi and Sumire probably wouldn't get a break like those 4, but he needed to get them caught up.
Making sure that the other students had heard him, he then turned back to the two girls. "Remember in Henge how we transformed our bodies into an object? In this case, you're going to use genjutsu to transform a piece of cloth into a copied piece of land," Koro explained as he held up the piece of cloth to a tree. Almost instantly, the cloth mimiced the design of the bark and blended in perfectly. "You have to trick the eyes of your opponent when doing this. This is called the Cloak of Ivisibility technique," he told them, bringing the cloth down once again.

Shinichi silently assented and bowed, slipping out of the training grounds. He desperately wanted to take a break and nap for some more, but it was time to do some training. Maybe, if he had time, he would visit the weapon shop to do some dreaming. It was a doubtful prospect, but a possibility, nonetheless. Shinichi stretched one last time and took a moment to absorb everything he had learned today. It was definitely a crash course, but a beneficial one at that.

Sumire clapped her hands excitedly. "Ooh! Ooh! That looks really neat!" She quickly commandeered the piece of cloth to try. Holding it over her head, she focused on gathering her chakra first of all. That was always necessary. The girl tried to recall how she accomplished the Henge. If this was similar to that then...She squeezed her eyes tightly shut for a moment or two while she concentrated. When she opened them back up again, she hoped that she had completed the task correctly. "Can you see me Myobi?" She resisted the urge to poke her head around the cloth. That would ruin the effect. She had managed to make the blanket perfectly mimic the ground behind her. So she became invisible if ony from the front.

1/1 "No..." Myobi smiled at where she last remembered her cousin standing. "Good job." When Sumire finally deigned to take the cloth down -- tongue stuck out at Myobi -- the younger girl tried as well. She wasn't worried about this one at all. Genjutsu was something that she'd always excelled at. She was very good for her age. She gathered the chakra easily enough and focused on the cloth. Within moments, she had obtained the same results as Sumire. She had become invisible from the front. She handed the cloth back to Koro after a few seconds.

"Ok!" Aya said. "Hey Shinichi! Do you wanna go to the ramen shop with me?" she asked him. The little girl was truly hungry for some ramen and since Momakage hadn't made a lunch for her, she was out of luck on that. Instead her mother had left her some yen to buy a lunch. She had only eaten at a shop once before with Sano, but that was a long time ago. The little girl swayed back and forth as she waited for Shinichi to answer as she walked after him.

He shyly looked at her with still eyes. "I... uh... erm...well... uhuh." Shinichi cursed at himself for being so stupid and hesitating. He shuffled his feet and nodded his head, ever so slightly. The boy had wanted to train, but some food sounded good too. He needed to get more energy, but he could already feel every ounce of courage and strength draining away all of a sudden. Why was this happening to him? Shinichi turned his back and ran down the road as quickly as he could, not ever looking back.

"Wow, that was really good, Myobi," Koro said admiring the girl's raw talent. The little girl was probably already halfway up to Koro's own level in genjutsu. The young man didn't really excell in that area all to well, but for her to be that amazing at it at such a young age was unbelievable.
[Were there anyother jutsus Myobi and Sumire needed to learn besides this one?]
