A grimace crossed her face as she looked at the THERE sign again, muttering under her breath. Whatever was at the end of the string of signs better be worth it, that was, if she could ever get through it. So far she hadn't gotten turned around again and that was a good sign, but good signs could be fleeting as well as helpful.

A feeling in the pit of her stomach churned at the sight of the UP ANYWHERE and she moved beyond it quickly.
It was not to be and she got turned around again somewhere. The gryphon shook her head and turned away from it entirely. She shouted, bouncing back to the sign and wiggling in her stance with a sly grin. "Are we going to get lost again today, hmmm?" She was asking the sign, but as it was a sign it did not talk or answer her. Which in the end she might have been glad for that. "Hello THERE!" The cat said as she skipped by the second sign with a smile. It didn't take her much time until she had gotten herself turned around and lost. "Hmmm?" With a shrug she went back on her way, humming to herself as she did. Surely it had to lead somewhere? McCowboy wandered for what seemed like forever through these strange woods before reaching a sign that read "YOU ARE HERE." Well, good, at least he knew he was "here," not that that was much any help. The sign, however, was pointing off into a direction. Curious, and hoping that he may soon find his exit, he followed the path of the sign. Due to the distraction of trying to be cheery she missed it completely and went in a circle. Going from "There" back to "There" in a matter of moments and looking around again. McCowboy followed the "YOU ARE HERE" sign to a new sign reading "THERE" - and once again an arrow was pointing the direction. However, this time the arrow seemed to be pointed exactly backwards, returning him to the path previously. He started to follow the path, understanding that these woods made no sense anyways, and found himself back at the "THERE" sign in no ********' hell," he groaned. Okay, well now this really made no sense. He paused at the "THERE" sign again, and this time focused. Okay, he needed to try something - one last try. He then sprinted from that point, following the "THERE" sign forward as quickly as he could. Perhaps if the path was changing as he walked, he would be able to outrun the shifts. The logic may not have been accurate, but the strategy appeared to somehow work - whether it was really strategy or luck - as he approached an "UP ANYWHERE" sign. He wanted to get out of these woods, and once again charged forward from that sign to make an exit --- but this time returned to the "THERE" sign for a third time. "NOOOOOOO!" he fell to his knees.
