"Let's get some time away from your father." she replied to her in a joking tone. Exiting the room with her daughter, Pale made her way outside and to the gardens.

Illiana was enjoying it alot. She sqirmed excitedly in her mother's arms on the way down. When they reached the garden, Illiana slid right out of her mother's grip and landed on her bottom. She immediately jumped up and ran to a bush with roses on it. She went to pick one but pricked her finger. Tears formed in her eye and she sniffed.

Her first instinct was to call for Jay and pick Illiana up, but she remebered that she was still at odds with him, and instead picked her daughter up, and started rocking her back and forth. "Hey, hey there." she cooed "hushhhh" she kissed her cheek, and yawned, starting to feel a drain.

Jay was in his study, reading up on dieties when he closed his eyes and set the book down. He and Pale were still at odds with one another, but that didn't mean he couldn't see them. He arose from his chair and walked downstairs and to the garden, staying a distance away as he watched Pale rocking Illiana back and forth.

Hearing him coming, she wanted to try and play it cool, and ignore him or something. But that just wasn't her. The only coolness that she gave off was really just some exhaustion. She gave herself maybe five more minutes of holding her daughter before she would have to set her back in her crib.

Jay wrapped his arms around Pale's waist and hugged her close as she cradled their daughter. A small frown came over his face as he looked at Illiana's finger. They would need to pick up bandages soon...it seems she would be getting more bumps the more she was able to escape her crib.

"Jay, don't" she protested, yawning again. Why did Illiana always end up getting these little bumps and bruises? Well, wait....oh yes, Pale remebered. She had always been like that before she got the spell.

Jay released her from his embrace and just sat at a distance, watching his wife and child. He just gazed at the two of them, not bothering to embrace Pale again. "Are you tired?" He asked, noticing how much she was yawning. "I think you're going to need sleep or food..."

"Yes, oh brilliant one." Pale had enough strength to hand him Illiana and stand up "I have to, I'm just going to be upstairs. But call me if she hurts herself." with that, Pale left them.

"She won't" He said with a roll of his eyes. "I make sure she dosen't run into any rose bushes..." He would watch her walk away and turn Illiana to face him, saying "Yeah, your mom and I are going through tough times. Don't you worry though" he said, kissing her forehead "It's all right"

Pale's mood swings were attacking her already aggitated state. Despite what she knew of second pregnancies, thoughts of divorce spun through her head. She didn't know how or if it could be done, it was all a sleepy little blur.

Jay brought Illiana on his shoulders and walked through the garden, allowing her to play with the safe plants and then about twenty or so minutes later he brought her inside to give her something to eat. He decided to fix up a meal for pale, incase she was hungry too.

Hunger was about the only thing that kept her from sleep. Lying there, partilly awake, she started to think up baby names. When nothing good came to mind, she thought about how to start repairing the buildings in the clan. Like the bar, for example.

Jay put Illiana in the high chair and set the food on the table, bringing the plate up to Pale's room and knocking, then taking in the tray and setting it on the nightstand. "Just incase you were hungry " he said as he turned and began to head back.

"Of course I'm hungry!" now she was just sad, frustrated- and whining "I don't feel good, morning sickness is coming and my body can't make up it's mind how to gain ki! And ontop of all that you couldn't stay with me!"
