Corbin and Aaron had been one of the last ones to return to the camp after gathering water and had quickly fallen asleep after eating. Strangely enough they were also one of the last ones to wake up in the morning. Wiping the sleep from his eyes before getting a drink Corbin noticed everyone leaving camp. He walked over to where Eliza was sleeping and woke her up. "Seems we're on the move. Better hurry up." He waited until she was ready before following after the group.

Pandaphilic A voice filled your head. The Celebi was speaking, though it's mouth did not move. It was speaking directly into your mind. The voice was neither masculine nor feminine, which was strange. It spoke to you, alone. "This is the future. I have brought you here. The world is now overrun with savage pokemon. You have seen the beginnings of what is to come. What has happened here will not stop. It will only expand and consume the world. The page in your hands is the cause of this. You must help. You must stop this from spreading." The Celebi looked to you with pleading eyes before disappearing right before you. How? What? Your questions remained unanswered. The cryptic message replayed in your mind.  Eros trembled as the voice of the Celebi -- yes, that was what it was called -- echoed through his head. Androgyny was nothing strange to him, but the weight of the message caught him off-guard. The boy's eyes were fixed by the Celebi's enormous, desperate blue ones until the Pokémon vanished, and Eros found himself once more sitting in the sand. Dido gave his cheek a concerned lick, and he distractedly stroked her head, taking a moment to mull over what the Celebi had told him. "The future... The future!" Eros blurted to the company in general. "They said we're in the future! There are savage Pokémon everywhere!" He paused, panting, realizing that once again he was going to appear out of his mind. He'd have kept the message to himself, but no doubt their own survival depended upon solving this puzzle. "They said..." He looked down at the scrap of paper still clutched in his hand. "They said something's consuming the world, and this caused it. We have to help..." Eros frowned. What did they have to help? Or who? "We have to help... this person, maybe, the person who wrote this?" Was the journal scrap even from now, this future? Was the author alive? The Celebi's visit had raised more questions than it had answered. Eros dropped his head into his free hand. He should never have left home yesterday.... Or however far in the past it had been. He should have ignored the flyer, read whatever was in the stupid gilt envelope, and nibbled croissants in bed all day. Dido rubbed against his chin, purring soothingly, but it did little to help.

Cadence nodded in agreement with her friend. It seemed she wasn't the only one with a hazy memory of their last trip. As the captain returned she felt the hairs on her arms and neck rise. Something wasn't right. She didn't know what it was but something definitely felt wrong. She looked to Cara when she spoke "Agreed. As long as we stick together we know at least one other person can be trusted." her voice was a whisper, not wanting anyone else to overhear her.
She gathered all of her things and stuck close to the rest of the group with Cara beside her.

Cara stayed by Cadence and nodded "Exactly." She didn't want to get lost and knew there were very few she could trust in the group. As it was, a few in the group gave her an odd vibe...especially that strange girl who had joined them in building the shelter at the very end. As soon as Cara had seen her, a chill ran up her spine and something tugged on her mind, as if trying to make her remember something long forgotten.
Everywhere she looked it was desert. The whole area seemed as if something horrible had occurred...it gave off an eerie vibe. The whole trek before them appeared foreboding.
Spirit had a bad feeling about what was ahead. The area around them seemed to stretch on forever and the mountain seemed so far away. One thing was for sure, she was not leaving Cara defenseless. It was her job to keep Cara safe. If she didn't, there would be Hell to pay back home...if they made it.....

Sleep seemed to work in strange ways. Too little, and one could be wide awake; too much, and one could sleep for far too long. Such was the case with Genesis. Despite the fact that she'd already slept during the water-collecting excursion, she passed out as soon as the shelters had been made and continued to doze throughout the discovery of the journal page. When she finally woke, it was not due to her own initiative, but out of Corbin's insistence.
"Already?" she moaned, only to notice just exactly how much time had passed. Quickly gathering her things, she followed after him.

Finally more awake the boy had quickened his pace catching up with Remmy and Phirxus. He was still stretching out the kinks in his body, but they weren't that many as he was uses to sleeping upon the ground.

"Ehhhh they could have come up with a way." Cai was just sure that the Captain was just being a narrow minded idiot and if he'd just come to ask for ideas instead of just frolicking his way through this like a vulpix pup they could be home by now. Or rather, if he'd thought to ask Cai They'd be home yesterday. "It's rather pathetic that an airship as large as that with that many pokemon crewing it couldn't survive a pidgey attack. They're not exactly legendaries."

"I couldn't agree more," Anise responded, nodding. "I'm even more surprised that the many pokemon crewing the ship couldn't drive off the flock. Even if they're not specifically trained for battle, pokemon are natural fighters and there's a lot of them." She paused there as something occurred to her. "Or at least there were. I wonder if any of the non-flying types made it off the ship? Even assuming they all have pokeballs, the only human we saw on the ship was the Captain, and I doubt he could have recalled them all in the time it took us to evacuate." That was an unpleasant thought. And if the pokemon were left there, were they OK? She kind of wanted to hurry up more now, to check on any pokemon left behind and treat any injuries.

Katori hung back from the main group, he never really was comfortable for a long time around people unless he was drunk and well ... he was far from drunk right now so he felt uncomfortable. Danae too was better not being among the group, she needed to stretch her legs but without the risk of her starting a fight. They could ill afford to stop for a pokemon battle right now. He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. "Shoulda stayed home huh Danae?" he said idly to her, he felt next to useless at the moment, he hadn't been able to protect Danae very well back on the ship and then all her hard work cutting branches for the shelter hadn't been as much as everyone else, perhaps if he'd trained her more she'd have been up to the task better but he felt he couldn't even do that right. Maybe he should quit training all together?
Danae sensed his mood, if not his thoughts and reached up, scorching his hand with a tiny Ember, causing him to snatch his hand up and look at her "Whacha do that for?" he asked, rubbing his smarting but generally uninjured hand. Danae looked at him "quiil qui qui quil, cynda" {don't be silly, i'm never leaving you, not even if you try to leave me} .. he couldn't understand her words of course but he felt her intent and he picked her up, holding her tightly against his chest "Alright... i should stop being silly and just get on with it, sooner we're home the better right" he chuckled as she nosed his cheek.

Is that some kinda metaphysical nonsense or did ya hit your head some time in the past two days?""Absolutely not!" Eros objected to the woman's accusation. He recognized her as a sloppy drunkard herself, and might not have answered at all if she weren't the only person to acknowledge him. "I wouldn't touch your swill even if I weren't underage. "But didn't you see the Celebi? It spoke to me, in my head! That's what it told me." Didn't the woman know a legendary Pokémon when she saw one?

As Cara walked, she couldn't help but over-hear talk of a Celebi (they were being quite loud) and how the young man, the one who was dressed totally inappropriately for the occasion, had seen one and how it had told them that they had traveled to the future. It made her falter in her step. A Celebi? Seriously? Out here? She looked around at the wasteland. It was true, the place did look like it had seen better days. Could they have possibly been transported to the future somehow?
She knew it was true that Celebi was a time traveling Pokemon so she knew it wasn't above one to transport them to the past or future, the question was...why? What did it want them to do? If it was true, then what was so important that it brought ALL of them to the future? What would Celebi need all of them for? Whatever it was, she would help. It wasn't like her to not help a Pokemon in need.

How dare she act so impertinently toward Dido's human? Eros bit his lip and felt tears welling up. It wasn't fair. He just wanted to get home, and this was their only lead right now. He didn't want to die out here in the desert, in the future, where no one would ever even find his body. Would his family hold a beautiful funeral for him, if he never returned? The drunkard wasn't worth his time, the boy finally convinced himself. Gathering the indignant Dido into his arms, he marched away toward the rest of the group with a half-hearted mutter of "Peasant."
