I've had some success with that, but while it may be somewhat satisfying it's not as pleasing.

It's pleasing for me, because I get to make whatever I want happen. I've done it a few times. I have since then lost my ability to control my dreams even when I notice I'm dreaming.

I don't really have a visual imagination, so it's hardly more pleasing than just daydreaming for me. It feels more realistic than daydreaming, which is where the satisfying comes in, but I can still feel the lack of authenticity, the element of control that doesn't make it surprising or exciting, so I don't like it as much.

And I am lucid in dreams quite often, maybe about 30% of the time. And about half of those times I can control the dream, at least to an extent. It's cool because I've made myself able to fly and stuff, but I never seem to think of anything better to take advantage of it with than that, or maybe making a dream not as scary. XD

The control is why I don't like lucid dreaming, and the more aware I become of the control the more disappointing the dream becomes.
But yes, apparently I'm going to do horrible things to my dear dear Seto, surprise surprise? xd

I could control my dreams about once a month, but I could never get Malik into them. For some reason, it was much easier to get Sesshomaru to do what I wanted back when I was obsessed with him. ><" Then again, if I'm correct, that was when I was younger and had less problems. ~head-desk~
I need to change my medications. I think that's what will help. But doing that might cause more problems, heaven knows what they would be...
Supposedly medications can mess with your ability to lucid dream.

I just want Malik in my dreams more often. If he was there like every night, even five nights a week, I wouldn't have to beg people to RP him for me...x_x;

@JK: I definitely improve my dreams when I do remember to control them, just not as much as I would if I was my awake self.
@Hawk: If I could control my dreams, I wouldn't worry about assigning who's in them or what happens; I tend to come up with better settings and ideas in my sleep. It's just making sure I get the most out of the dream that I would want lucidity for; I tend to let the dream move on to a new section before the good ending to the first, and so on and so on, and it drives me crazy.
Though I think I would just prefer virtual reality that you can control, because then you actually experienced it in real life, so you don't just wake up with that empty 'it didn't really happen' feeling.

Also, I had another Yu-Gi-Oh dream, but I can't post it on Gaia. It's horribly X-rated. And well, it had Zorc in it, so that tells you a lot. XP

@Kits - it definitely isn't as controlled as if awake, but still more than I like. And it also is easier to slip out of a lucid dream than a non-lucid one, which is almost more frustrating. An abrupt awake is disorienting, a slow drag away in which I keep trying to grasp and hold is torturous. I'm fully aware of what's going on and what I'm losing. I'd rather rip the bandaid off quick. wink
@Both - I have a purpose to wanting the who, other than that I don't want to control anything. I'm a control freak who has a hard time "letting go." I thus would rather just let most dreams do what they want, without conscious interference on my part.
Virtual reality would be fun too, not the same thing as dreaming or what I want out of dreams at all, but it would be fun.
@Hawk - Hmm, might be afraid to hear about a Zorc dream, haha.

@JK: It's not that scary. The only version of Zorc I really know is the Abridged one. He was going to destroy the world and then some X-rated stuff happened.
