Jeromy smirked at Emma's resonse, even though it wasn't quite the answer he was looking for. He rolled onto his side beside her and kept kissing her. He then stopped enough to say, "I was thinking the beach." He didn't know what Emma would think of the beach, though he hoped that would be a nice place to go on vacation and to pop the big question. He was nervous about when the time actually came, but he told himself that being a little bit nervous was normal. He just kissed Emma to get his mind off of the worried, nervous feeling that was threatening to overwhelm him.

Emma finally trained some composure and pushed Jeromy's face away for a minute, "The beach sounds great, Jer..." she gave him a smile, getting up. "I'm going to shower. We still need to get the cake." every year, on July 3rd, her birthday, she got a different flavor of ice cream cake. She hadn't even gone through all of the Baskin-Robins flavors yet! She slipped into the shower, washing her red hair. Maybe I'll curl it... she thought, absentmindedly. ((I have the greatest idea for drama!!!))

Jeromy wasn't too happy about being pushed away in mid-kiss, but he listened to Emma as she spoke. He was happy that she liked the sound of the beach for vacation and smiled. Hearing that she was going to take a shower, Jeromy nodded to her and he was going to get one after her.Yes, they sometimes took showers together, but there were still times that they showered alone. He watched her get up and he said, "Alright and I can't wait for the cake." His mind started wandering to the vacation and he smiled a bit. He wanted to look over at the dresser; the place he'd hidden the ring, but didn't. He was surprised it wasn't found by Emma already, but was thankful for that; very, very thankful for that.{{Ok ^-^ You going to just wait until you post it or are you going to give little hints as to what it's gonna be? Either way is fine, so it's whatever you choose to do smile }}

Emma giggled at his last comment. She quickly finished her shower and stepped out, putting a towel around her. "Go shower, Jer. We need time to test all thirty one flavors." she laughed. She and her da usually did it, and he would've come, but he was in New York until 12 in the afternoon, today. He told her he was bringing a date... It made Emma happy to see he was still out there. She decided to wear a light summer dress; nothing compared to what she had tonight. They had decided to go out Tova pretty fancy restaurant, and she was excited to see Jeromy's suit. ((Actually...You need to be part of it, but not the whole part. Im almost home I'll tell you when I get on the computer))

Jeromy was sitting on the bed, thinking about the ring, again. He was nervous and was in a bit of a trance, but snapped out of it when Emma said he could shower. "Huh? Oh, yeah I'll go shower now." He got up, grabbed something simple to wear, since he was going to be wearing that suit tonight. He showered off quickly, got dressed and went back to the room. "I'm ready to go my love." He couldn't wait to get the ice cream cake, since he loved sweets. Though, he knew that he couldn't go crazy, even though he worked out. He wasn't about to let himself go; he wanted to stay fit and good looking because he wanted to look his best when he proposed and the wedding.
Warren and Barret had just gotten out of prison and were bound and determined to find Jeromy. They knew where he lived, but the police were watching that area very closely and they weren't able to get near there without getting spotted by the cops. They were determined to get back at Jeromy, but were more about getting the rest of the gang together, since it was probably falling apart since Warren was arrested.

Emma drove them to the ice cream parlor and she walked over to the counter. She had her hair down, which she was regretting with the hot summer sun, and was twirling a piece around her finger. The boy working there, who couldn't have been older than 16, was looking at her chest. "My eyes are up here." she said, calmly, not looking up at the flustered cashier. "I want to try...Strawberry lemonade," she smiled and asked Jeromy what he would like on a little, plastic spoon. She grabbed hers and tried a bit, wrinkling her nose; it wasn't as good as she expected. She gave the rest to Jeromy, asking his opinion.

Jeromy walked into the ice cream parlor after Emma and watched the boy behind the counter with narrowed eyes. His looked pretty much said, "Eyes off the merchandise kid. She's mine." Jeromy wouldn't ever do anything, but he wasn't going to let some kid try taking Emma away from him. He told the cashier that he wanted to try the peach ice cream and before he got it, he tried the strawberry lemonade flavor that Emma had. He put the spoon in his mouth and took in the flavor. When he pulled the spoon out he said he'd tasted better. As he got his peach ice cream, he stuck the spoon in his mouth. He made sure he got every last bit of it off the spoon before removing the spoon and licking his lips clean of every trace of the peach ice cream.

Emma was looking at the different names, noticing they got new ones. She tried a few sherbets, before seeing this one:Chocolate Overload: Chocolate ice cream swirled with chocolate chunks and drizzled with a chocolate ribbon.
"Can I try that one!?" she asked, her eyes lighting up. Emma loved chocolate more than anything! Well, she looked over at Jeromy, smiling, almost more than anything. After the boy gave her the spoon, she tried it and moaned. "Ok, that's the cake I want. A medium sized, chocolate overload cake that says 'Happy 20th, Emma!' in purple. Ontop of a white covering." she smiled at her complicated order and the boy, who was pretty confused, nodded and went to make it. She turned to Jeromy, "Jer, that was better than sex." she admitted, laughing and wrapping her arms around his waist.

Jeromy was watching Emma look at the different flavors and noticed the one she was looking at. He told himself that it sounded good and that he might try some of it. He watched her taste the ice cream and heard her moan. The jealousy that he felt because of ice cream burned once again. He frowned a bit, yet there was a playful look in his eyes and said, "Again with the ice cream and the moaning." He listened to Emma ordering her cake and he just stood there waiting for her to be finished. He heard Emma say that the ice cream was better than sex and he said, "Ouch... My ego just died a little bit just now." He gave Emma a playful kiss and hugged her back.

Emma laughed, placing a small kiss on his chin, because it was the highest place she could reach, without going on her tiptoes. "Maybe you should try something new...and...Chocolatey," she laughed, not being able to keep her composure. ''Ehem...You should...Pour... she laughed, again, dropping her head. She couldn't finish, it was too funny to picture Jeromy pouring chocolate on her. ((bahahahahahahaha...ha...))

Jeromy heard Emma laugh and he hugged her tighter. After feeling the kiss that Emma gave him, he leaned down and gave her a peck on the lips. When Emma told Jeromy that he needed to try something new, chocolatey; he looked at her with a raised eyebrow. Then after hearing her laugh and saying about pouring something, the confusion he was feeling was very apparent, however, A thought came to him and he grinned. He didn't know if he could waste chocolate, but thought that could be fun. "I wonder when the cake will be ready. It's made of ice cream, so it shouldn't be that long, but I just want to know how long." Jeromy said, his patients thinning. He wanted to get home, eat some cake and spend a nice, quiet evening with his girlfriend on her birthday.

Just as Jeromy said that, the boy came out. She handed him the right amount; $34.13. "Thanks, hon!" she called, making the boy flush. Emma grabbed Jeromy's hand, holding the box and pulling him along. "You hold this, be careful. I'll drive." she gave him a Brilliant smile and put the box in Jeromy's hand. When they were both in the car, she drove them home.

jeromy watched the boy's face flush as Emma thanked him. He gave the boy a firm glare before leaving with Emma. When he was dragged to the car, he almost tripped but was able to keep from falling. He sat in the car, put his crutches in the back and then took the cake, holding on to it so that it wouldn't get smashed. He got out of the car once they arrived. He had set the cake on his seat, telling Emma she'd have to carry it. He didn't want to try carrying it in and risk dropping it because he had to keep balanced with his crutches.

Emma nodded and took the cake, locking the car. She sauntered into the kitchen and put the cake into the freezer. She walked up to Jeromy, wrapping her arms around his waist, helping him keep steady. "When are you getting the stupid thing off? And, when is your leg gonna heal?" she asked, kissing his neck, close to his sweet spot.

Jeromy watched Emma take the cake and he followed her into the house. But he stopped just inside the house. When he saw Emma come over, felt her wrapping her arms around him and asking when his cast could be removed, Jeromy replied with, "I think it was a month to two months depending on how quickly my leg is healing. And I'll have to wait until it's been about five or six months since the accident before it's fully healed.... I'm really sorry Emma..." The guilt about the accident, that was in the back of his mind was starting to creep out and threantened to consume him.[[I'm so, so sorry for not posting sooner and going off and online like I did. The internet went out and then there was a power outage. I'm actually surprised the internet is up already.]]
