At the sudden soft mental voice gently caressing his brain, the hunchback jumped in alarm. MISTRESS it was Mistress! Oh goodness gracious gargoyles ooooh he loved the sound of her voice it was so melodic he wished she would sing to him sometime did she even sing he knew she had auditioned for Oogie Boogie last year but he hardly remembered it.

Like an excited dog who heard their master's whistle, Christof came skipping- yes, skipping- towards the cocoon of dragon wing, eyes wide and sparkling. There was that beat again, had someone turned up the radio? He wasn't sure but suddenly his shambles and skipping had slipped into a side step as he twirled up to her.

Mistress! He begged, Mistress sing for me and I'll dance for you!

Riley stiffened in Jericho's arms, and peeked back over his wings again. This time, her eyes were flat with confusion.

What.

"Wasn't sure if there was a secret party in there or something. Then again, this is a pretty good party too, the four of us." Shehk beamed. "But that makes sense. Seems like there are very few places to have...alone time." Then again, tonight shouldn't have been needing too much alone time. Not as much as seemingly had been required.

Then again, it was Scarentines. It would have been odd for people to not want to have some alone time with the ones they cared for. However, it seemed something odd had just started happening, looking between Riley and then towards Christof. Then she looked up at Jericho like 'wat?'

She didn't understand. All she had was confusion.

Shine wants to get to know somebody!

Had she known anything about the strange hints and nudge-nudge-wink-winks going on with the next sign up slot, Shine might have stayed away. But she was too caught up in her glee to even notice that the timeslot had been smudged, so she added her name again.

The moment she peeked out, the hunchback reached to grab one of her hands and haul her out, trying his best to give her a twirl and oh god that hurt his spine but IT WAS WORTH IT because it was for Mistress! Can't you hear it? Can't you feel it Mistress? It's beautiful! You're beautiful! Before she could scramble back inside her hide-away, he flitted around her with a lightness he never before had possessed, sweat dripping from his stitched brow as he shrugged out of his coat so his little wing could flap in time to the music in his head.

His heart was going to burst, but that pressure seemed to push its way down his legs, forcing them to suddenly tap out the rhythm of his love for him before giving her a dip. Beeeeauuuutiful Mistresssss~ He sang in his head, tappita tappita~

All of the sudden, Riley went rigid in his arms after what sounded like her talking to Christof. Jericho became rather alert for the moment, but then heard her confused tone. Glancing down at Shehk, he spotted a rather confused expression there too.

"... What is Christof doing?" he asked while trying to see past his wings. He couldn't really see much of anything though. Well, that was until she got pulled right on out. Startled, he went ahead and unfurled his wings to get a better idea of what the hell was going on... only to see Christof.. dancing?

"I... what?"

Willow wants to get to know somebody!

Willow's tail flickered as she walked towards the board again and signed up and then decided to sit and watch what was going on. She paused, was that nurse cricket? The tigress wasn't use to seeing the nurse out side of her office or anywhere there was a need for healing.

Of course after having watched the way Cricket healed Riley, the tiger ghoul gave a shiver. Ugh, another thing she had occasional nightmares about. She hummed as she scanned the crowd trying to find others she knew, maybe someone to talk to? However, as she looked around there were some she knew but no completely familiar with. "Hm..." The tigress decided at least moving through the crowd and looking to see if she could find anyone would at least be better than sitting at a wall, safe. But at the same time, Willow's mouth twitched, that was a lot of ghouls and boils to walk around. "Me and my dumb fear of crowds." She muttered.

"STTTTTTTTTOOOOOOOOOPPPPP!!"

A very large, and MORE DISGRUNTLED THAN USUAL Cupid Gnome stormed into the scene, disgusted by what he saw.

"WHAT IN JACK'S NAME ARE YOU ALL DOING! I didn't say you should use those arrows yet, they're not tested! You're ruining EVERYTHING! All my wonderful plans are being destroyed by amateurs! AMATEURS!!!!"

He ranted and raved, successfully keeping everyone's attention off of the odd man over at the refreshment booth, until finally he lifted his own arrows and shot one straight into the sky. It burst into glitter and rainbows, falling upon everyone at the party. The mood lightened to one of frivolity, except for those already affected by arrows.

... and it also made everyone very very thirsty.

"NOW GET BACK TO PARTYING, ALL OF YOU!" He growled, huffed, puffed, and stormed off.

Freya wants to get to know somebody!

Freya signed up again, because she had such a lovely time meeting Thanatos. She hoped her next new friend would be just as much of a gentleman! This isn't foreboding at all.

When someone surprises you as much as Christof had suddenly surprised Riley, there was little you could do to refuse their advances. He pulled her out of Jericho's warm embrace, and the cold air coupled with the fact he was spinning her across the floor made her freeze up in terror. Was Christof suffering from their affliction, as well?! No, they did not react this way, he actually seemed rather.. happy with his actions.

His actions.

His absolutely bold and brash actions.

CHRISTOF! She finally sputtered, pulling herself together and stopping him in his tracks, so she could stand up straight and look at him. Are you inebriated?

He indeed let her go enough to let her find her feet, but still kept bobbing and wiggling and flapping his wing and smiling fondly. Drunk on inebriating brain chemical altering substances? I do not drink, silly Mistress, I was not built for it! He, yes, giggled, unable to stop himself from picking up two of her tentacles to merrily and gently dance back and forth with, Drunk on the brilliance that is my sweet, beautiful Mistress's lovingly dictating face? Yes yes yes! And he began humming again in the back of his throat, twirling himself under the captured tentacles as though they were her hands before then promptly wriggling his hips back and forth in that fashion he had seen some young boils with their trousers hanging off of their bottoms do to some very lovely ghouls with very lovely parts on the skelevision. Tell me what you want, Mistress, what you really, really want~

Riley's temper was only relieved by the mood altering substance that had fallen mere moments ago - otherwise, she was sure she would be ripping his arms out for touching her tentacles so boldly just now. As it was, she slowly slid the one on the left out of his hand, and gave him a very severe look.

I want you to stop acting like this, Christof. You're confusing me, and you're probably confusing Amrita, to be quite honest. She couldn't see the ghoul, but she knew that Christof's behavior looked bad. If you're not inebriated, then what? Have you taken any substances, licked any toads, breathed in any toxic fumes?

She felt his head, but quickly remembered he was undead - his temperature wouldn't matter.

Nope! Just want to serrrrrve you Mistress! On a throne of skulls! Although there was this, He did a bold shuffle move before turning his hunch for her to see the arrow shaft poking out. Ch-chah-ch-chah~ his mental voice enunciated the musical sound effects a bit better than his tongueless stitched mouth, but the heart of the song was still in it. He couldn't stay still for long, suddenly bouncing back and forth like a 20s cartoon. The dance of the Igors who have wonderful Mistresses who throw wonderful partiiiiiieees!

After departing for a short while for a trip to the games and prize booth, the ghoul wandered back to the tables, stopping in her tracks to peer at the erase board (which she was sure had been smudged out just not too long ago). Evelyne. Ev? They have met before haven't they?

Only one way to find out. The frost demon left the board and made her way to her assigned table, feeling rather delighted at the prospect of meeting her again .... in her proper gender.
