When they are draw or graphic; yes. Real will auto-make it M or R.

Americans are just a**l about graphical violence where fake blood sprays out like crazy. Around here in the Netherlands the game got a 16+ rating because of violence.
The main thing is, should strong language be involved along with the violence, then it's bumped to 18+. Add to that sexual themes (Vampire) or scenes of cannibalism (F.E.A.R.) and we have an AO rating winner.
I don't know what the hell you are complaining about, wont your mothers buy the game anyway? wink

The 18+ limit is legal stuff methinks. After all, the game itself has yet to be rated.
Not all americans are a**l about violence... sadly, those of us who aren't lack positions of power.

wekk the game does include content such as Space Marine dismembering Orks with chainswords. 18+ is only fitting. and Argus you should ask them if they want some cheese_whine

ha, the death animations are what i really buy the game for, thats what makes it so great, no one has ever done that before. Yeah that definatly grabs me, people with knives charging towards guys with guns, and guess who wins, the guys with knives, yeah, now that is kick a**

Being spoilt isn't an excuse. That's like saying "I'm black and my great-grandfather was a slave, so I get to be a jerk to anyone who's white lol"
By the way, that's not a good excuse.
I think 18 is pretty good for the rating. Mortal Kombat was 18, GTA was 18, and all that was like 2D sprites going haywire on people. It's gory and violent, and it'll probably be an M just like the others were (I think. It was 15+ here, I assume that's M or similar.)

The rating system seems to be there just to keep parents involved and informed, which I don't mind.

I dont either, but it doesnt really help when kids get what they want anyways, the time ive seen it in action was with GTA
