Isamu frowned, "I am sorry....." he replied, feeling a bit like a jerk now. Eros didn't seem too upset but Isamu felt bad for asking the other boy such a question when the answer was so.... sad. Generally speaking, Isamu also knew what it was like to lose a loved one, those his were still alive... But it wasn't like he ever got to see them.... because he didn't . (It's late here. I g2g to bed. Have a good night! )

After Angela had left the garden with Professor Abel speaking of which, she connected the dots, and boy, was that scandalous. Actually, it was just plain adorable. D'awww. , Kasie wandered outside the school, spotting Isamu and Eros. She immediately greeted them with a friendly wave. "Isamu! Oh, man, I haven't seen you in ages. How have you been doing? And Eros! It's good to see you again. How's your face? You did kind of smash into that window pretty hard."

He just didn't want to be stuck in a classroom full of people who ignored him. Being alone was awful, but being ignored was far worse. That was the whole reason he always made himself look like a fool by dressing up and acting every day, even though it was exhausting and never seemed to help. He felt as though he didn't even know who he was anymore. He sat underneath a nearby tree and looked around, spotting two guys and that one girl from his first period class. Kasie, was it? "Mr. Tights!" Kasie exclaimed as she immediately zoned in on the new arrival. Well, it wasn't like he was wearing any at the moment, but the nickname just stuck. He would forever be Mr. Tights to her even if he was wearing a lab coat at the moment. Zipping over to the loner, she beamed a smile at him before unloading a bombardment of talking upon him. "So what are you doing here all alone? Don't you know that it's lunch? Well, I don't really care since I can't eat any food, but I do rather enjoy lunch because I can have free time and hang out with my friends. Since you're alive and all, aren't you hungry? Yeah, what are you doing out here? Or are you just trying to meet up with your friends too?"

It didn't make any sense, though. He was wearing pants today, not tights. And she still spoke too much. "I know it's lunch," He told her with a frown, and winced a little at that friend comment. Way to hit a sore spot, Kasie. "I have no friends and I don't need any," He stated and flickered his tongue. He didn't want to be alone, but he certainly didn't want friends. "Go eat." Kasie ordered if Markus knew it was time for lunch. After all, he was still alive, so he shouldn't be wasting his time being a lemon face. He should enjoy the wonders of taste while he still could! That was one of the few things that she definitely missed after dying. All that yummy food....
Waitwaitwait. No friends? How can Markus have no friends? That was a big no-no! No friends meant being alone, so how could he not want them? Did he enjoy being alone? That was just sad. Kasie could never find any amusement in being such a grouchy loner like him. That's why it was now her duty to add this sour-face to her smile list. "Well, consider me a friend then, mister. First rule of friendship, friends are always nice to each other, but true friends stick to being themselves no matter how horrible they can be. He fought back his instinct to hiss at her, knowing that she had good intentions. He would have went to get something to eat, but he assumed the school wouldn't be allowed to serve anything raw. His kind typically caught their own food, so cooked foods tasted so unnatural to him that it was difficult to swallow. He listened to her little speech about friendship, his tongue flicking out rapidly in irritation. She was forcing him to accept her as a friend? Even he knew that wasn't how friends worked. She was so persistent and annoying, he had even less of a reason to be her friend than anyone else. But she was nice to him... He doubted himself for a moment before glaring at her. Isamu smiled a bit when he saw Kasie and hurried over, "I am well!" He replied cheerfully. He then looked at Markus and blinked, what an unusual boy! He wondered what race he was.... and if he liked men or women most. He just stood there and stared at him. After a few moments he ran back over to Eros and wrapped his arms around the other boy.

"Not really." Kasie snickered as she shook her head, not at all persuaded to just give up on the guy after he declined her "offer." Hey, she wasn't really asking. After all, friends were good to have around! It was only if this guy acted like a complete jerk that she'd just give up, but he wasn't. She had seen the guy thank her for reasons that she still didn't know. Speaking of which, she should ask about that.
"Soooo, back at the infirmary, what was up with you being grateful to me again? I can't exactly remember." She mused about that before actually taking notice of Markus' scowling. Actually, she noticed it a while back. She just chose to ignore it until now. "Awh, c'mon. Don't be like that. You'll get all prune-y and wrinkly earlier than you want to be if you keep frowning like that. And what's with the tongue thing? Not that I have anything against it since it just adds to your gorgeous charm, but I'm just curious."
As for Isamu, Kasie eagerly beamed back in return before replying. "That's great to hear Isamu. You and I should talk more when you're not so busy." Exactly. When he wasn't so busy chasing after Eros. Still, it was cute and adorable. Waitwaitwait, maybe she could recommend the infirmary to Isamu if he planned on getting a little serious with the cupid. She was such a genius.

All he knew was it was because she did something for him that no one else did. Oh. Now he remembered. "You congratulated me during target practice... I was just trying to be polite. If you have a problem with that, then I won't thank you again." He just had to be a whiny brat about it. He covered his mouth when she mentioned the tongue thing, having been so used to doing it that it was completely subconscious. "It's just... something I do. It makes it easier to see," He explained with no details at all. He had no clue how it worked. All he knew was that he could sense heat by doing that, and Kasie was freezing compared to almost everyone else. When the other male approached, he stiffened and bared his teeth at him with a hiss. It was instinct for him to assert his dominance over other males his age, so he didn't realize how ridiculous he made himself look for a moment. He looked away and acted as though he didn't just hiss at the guy, feeling pretty stupid for doing that. "We should probably get to class," He said, but didn't get up.
