Who would've thought flipping tables was harder than flipping pancakes? What's up with that!
If Astra hiding behind him bothered the skinwalker, he didn't show it, although he did watch her buzz to the top of the fishtank, his eyes following hers as she looked around the room for her friend. It seemed she had found him, too -- he looked at her with mild interest as her expression lit up when she saw someone, although he wouldn't find out until a moment later when he heard Junko's voice that it wasn't Astra's friend, but the other ghoul who had caused such a bright expression. Turning around to face her, he half-smiled to her casually, although it didn't quite reach his eyes.
"Hey Junnie-Bee," he replied, certainly not as enthusiastic as her own greeting, although he tried to edge in a little teasing, "Here for some of the nyan-cats?"
In the corner of his eye, he saw Riley shying away, practically feeling her reluctance seeping into his own mind. Whether or not he was imagining it or she really was, his body tightened a bit as if to try to close it off, feeling a little wrench of cold pain which he quickly and effectively squashed, his eyes flicking towards her as if to say 'You wanted this. You wanted me to tell you.' As if that might make him feel any better.
It didn't.

I'M SPINNING THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE~ OR IS IT SPINNING ME
She saw the look, and her shy reluctance was quickly growing into heated anger. One hand spun the wheel, while the other cracked it's own knuckles.
This was going to get ugly, fast.

Thankfully Astra had been near the edge of the tank when she had fallen in so she had been able to hold onto the edge, but she was also relieved that junko had came to her assistance and pulled her out. "I'm okay.." she coughed out some water and stood up, wringing the water out of her t-shirt and trying to get it out of her wings, which were now stuck to the back of her t-shirt. "T-thankyou junko..." She placed her hat back on and looked around again to see that Riley was now acting rather shy instead of angry.
As Junko walked away trying to act as if everything was alright, she followed her to the the bunny whacking game. "You gotta hit all the bunnies" The fairy told her. "You use a mallet to whack them..but you gotta be careful cause Usa-pyon doesn't want them hurt..."
Out of the corner of her eye she saw Riley's temper change again, and her eyes bulged before she franticly began jumping and hoping to get her wings to dry as fast as possible.
It seemed now was good time to start running.

I'M SPINNING THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE~ OR IS IT SPINNING ME
The sound of cracking knuckles made him visibly tense, his eyes snapping to Riley with a sudden sharpness that matched her anger, flaring up visibly in his eyes. The way he held his body, too, changed, tense all over as if ready for a fight, and yet he refrained, as if just posturing. He, too, spun the wheel, as if trying to maintain an air of normalcy, something they both knew was not going to hold very much longer. He was almost daring her to do something.

I'M SPINNING THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE~ OR IS IT SPINNING ME
Challenge accepted.
Riley saw that dare in his eyes, and her response? She spun the wheel a final time. Yes, that was her response.
Except it really wasn't.
If this is some kind of sick joke, let me assure you, I AM NOT AMUSED. She finally raged - though the thought was private as it echoed painfully in Nukpana's mind. She took a step forward, standing toe to toe with him, and the full force of her fury was unleashed in her eyes.
I'm going to walk away from this booth. And I am going to calm down, so I do not end your miserable life before it's time. I'd rather not have to deal with seeing you in the undead dorms every day, after all. But once I have calmed down, we are going to have a chat. OH, WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A CHAT, NUKPANA.
His dare was answered in her eyes. Hers stated, quite plainly, to try and pick a fight with her right now, before she'd had a chance to calm down.
Poor Astra was watching a silent horror movie unfold.

I'M SPINNING THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE~ OR IS IT SPINNING ME
The spinning of the wheel was almost symbolic. At this point, there wasn't any pretending between them, Riley's fury certainly palpable, and Nuk continued to match it, reaching up to spin it as well, the angry clacking almost fitting their moods as they had their stare-off. Once again his muscles tensed, although this time it was because of the pain from her words in his head, his eyes narrowing a little just slightly so only a little gold was visible, surrounded by black. He did not, however, flinch away, staring into her eyes that, at the moment, were a perfect mirror opposite of his own, white to his black, both holding a rage he was sure neither of them could contain for long. But if he cared, he certainly didn't show it.
"When you come to kill me, Riley, better bring your game. You'll have a hell of a time doing it."
There was no if. It was only when, completely misinterpreting her words to mean it was always going to be her that ended his life. Or was it a misinterpretation at all?

...yeah. s**t was getting real.
By now Astra was becoming terrified at the two rage filled creatures that were sizing each other up. They weren't even trying to hide it now, and Nuk's words only brought the truth to the surface. A fight was about to happen. She tried not to whimper or to shake, looking around the area for a hiding place while trying to think of any way she could prevent the fight from escalating
Tell them not to fight? No, she would be amazed if they even acknoledged her presense. They coudl always turn on her too.
Jericho? Jack she didn't want to but maybe he could calm her down? Or...he could just change into a dragon and the fight would become so one sided it wouldn't be funny.
She could try use her FEAR power and make them confused! Or not, there was no way her magic could match against their anger.
The fairy was beginning to panic now, deciding that..for now the best thing to do was to hide, pulling her hat over her head as if it would magically make her invisible and..maybe everything would resolve by itself.

The world turned red. At least, it seemed that way - it was a beautiful color for everything around her to be tinged with. Unfortunately, only she could see the change - for Nukpana, and consequently Astra, all that changed was the color of her eyes. They flashed a dangerous, blood-filled crimson.
Is that a CHALLENGE, Nukpana? She growled, arching enough to gain at least a half an inch of height. Up on her tiptoes, she bristled dangerously. I don't know why you think I would waste my time trying to bring a pup like you down, but if you're so dead set on ending your life, I WILL BE HAPPY TO OBLIGE.
Her breath quickened, chest heaving in quick and shallow gasps, until suddenly.. she took one long breath, and in her eyes was the most surprising of expressions.
It was hard to explain, but as the red faded, there was something fiercely joyful about her glare. Perhaps she'd missed the thrill of a real challenge. Or, perhaps, she just liked letting her anger out once in a while.
Whatever it was, it didn't stop her from punching Nukpana square in the stomach, cackling like a madwoman, and storming off.

Oh it was on. He wasn't sure if the people around them had gone quiet, or he just couldn't hear anyone except her anymore, in his head, always in his head in a way that was so foreign and so distinct that made her feel so close, so damn close, too jacking damn close when he didn't want anyone in there, didn't want anyone to see the monster. He felt it now, in a way that had nothing to do with his species, twisted and warped and clawing it's way to the surface as she stood on tiptoes, his fingers closing into angry, white-knuckled fists, crescent moons of red appearing on his palm where his short, sharp claws dug into his skin, as if that tiny sharp little pain would distract him from the way his body screamed at him to lunge at her. And along with it, the want for blood, the want to feel flesh rip, although even through the chaotic pounding in his ears, behind his eyes, he knew that's not what he wanted, that it was just the challenge that was making him crazy. Why did you ask, Riley, I didn't want to tell you.
He was breathing hard by the time she arched up to stand taller, his lips curled back over his canine teeth in a snarl, his chest vibrating again as he started to growl, low and husky, in the back of his throat, and louder as she slandered him right there, as if he wasn't worth s**t. I don't know why you think I would waste my time trying to bring a pup like you down, but if you're so dead set on ending your life, I WILL BE HAPPY TO OBLIGE. And that was it. Whatever self control, it was done, gone in an instant, leaving only the barest of restraints keeping him from getting physical, his fingers snapping from their curled position, crooked like talons.
"You think you're so bad Riley."
His voice was soft and low and dangerous, so different than his normal voice.
"You think you're so bad, go ahead Riley, make my day!"
Lashing out to knock over the tower of Nyancats he'd loved and pined for not so long ago, Nuk exhaled hard, diverting his attention to them instead of her. But in that second, another hand had lashed out. He saw it in his peripheral vision, that flash of purple, having none of the time to try to block or catch it before it had hit him right in the gut, that sickening pain flooding from that four inch diameter to spread through his body. The skinwalker caught himself before he lurched too far, his back curling a bit around it as if to cradle the blow, and that might have been the only thing that had saved him at the last moment. It had certainly saved the situation. Clutching his stomach with one hand, he watched her storm off, his own anger having tapered a bit. Instead of following her, he stormed off in the other direction, stalking away to who knew where. But both of them knew it wasn't over.

A ghoul had come by and peered at her boxes from winning at the wheel. Levi smiled and allowed her to view them before picking up a whiff of that tuna again. Tucking both boxes in her pocket, she scarfed down the cupcake before skipping over to the fish tank again.
She wasn't aware that the expression on her face read "yay! fish!" Still in her CLIFF outfit, she bent and peered over the counter at the fish to view all the delicious varieties. Sure, she had her rations, but that scent of tuna had her hankering for another suddenly.
Her tail curled and uncurled and she stared in awe when- something caught the corner of her eye. Red. Bright red. This could only mean two things for her. Slowly turning her head with a blank stare, Levi found one of her guesses to be correct. Mother 'a Jack
Can I help ya, West?...er,,,what kinda tattoos ya got there? She was commenting on the marking from tiny tentacles riddling his face. She looked down at his leg-hugging tentacle companion...then looked back up. Then looked down again. Then back up. He was enraged at the mentioning of it. She laughed at the tiny leg-hugger that seemed to have gotten the best of him.
So that's where ya learn yer fightin' frum, eh? It's got more legs than ya, I'll say that much fer it. She grinned and taunted to try and keep the subject away from her fishy moment of weakness.

West's anger flared at the reminder that he was sporting a whole new batch of tentacle hickeys. Well, damn. He had somehow managed to forget all about the fact that he looked like he had just been pleasuring a squid, despite the presence of the creature currently latched to his ankle. Still, the boil still couldn't get much above 'grrr' on the rage meter because of one overwhelming question. What in the Jackin' hell was the tatzel wearing?
"Yeah, yeah, yer real funny," he snarked. "'Least I'm not wearin'a tiger suit." He glanced over at the tank she had been making eyes at earlier. "You fish?" Yeah. That was a challenge.

There may be many fish in the sea, but Desu-chan's the only one for me ♥ She sighed with relief inside; the boil hadn't noticed. Excellent Her fighting pride was still intact (despite her outfit, which she didn't mind anyway). Least the suits not stick attackin' me, boil. Still looks like its winnin' ya there. She nodded her chin to his leg and then was forced back into staring at the tank when he mentioned fishing.
Oh...I fish alright. Can fish ya out 'a house n' home, I reckon. Let's see what 'cha got, West! Git a net! Winner gets a fish owed by the loser n' a favor! Whaddaya say? Up fer it? or are ya yellah?
She picked up a net and at that point went for a fish.

"I'm gonna ignore anythin'y'say 'bout th'stupid tentacle... thing," he muttered, picking up a net of his own. He would have liked to see her try to get the Akubrapus off of him. It would come off when it was good and ready. "Can'trust nothin' wit'tentacles."
Now why had he gone and said that? He was not going to show any more weakness and he was not going to underestimate this ghoul. His eyes narrowed when she extended her challenge, but he nodded sharply in response. "I'll take yer bet."
West watched as she dunked her net into the tank and came up with nothing. "Ha! Fish me outta house'n'ome my freckl'd a**!" he taunted, jabbing his own net into the water.

This isn't funny, the life of a bunny is at stake! What do you mean they're not alive?
So ...she broke her net. Sighing and flattening her ears at the loss of all fish this time around, she watched West potentially beat her at her own game after such a statement. Nope, he'd lost too. HAHAHAHA~ yer no better!
But she still had her ears flat from the lack of fish... challenges. If she'd continue to challenge him, perhaps she could bank on future catchings? She gave him some credit since she knew he was capable of some pretty rough fighting so- ...what else could she get him to battle her at?
Bunnies... I'll consider that round a- a- practicin' round. I can still whip ya at er- well, her intent would never be to whack the bunny kin infront of usa pyon. She'd gotten candy before for not whacking them so- maybe... she could set West up a bit. A grin perked her lips and her ear raised again. She leaned in a bit and whispered as to not startle Usa-pyon. One ta hit tha most bunnies wins? Ghoul's gotta give ya tha candy ta prove ya won tho...
Levi took up a mallet and had at it.
