Aya laughed, "Alright." She was flushed as well and grinning from ear to ear, "You havn't been brushign your hair." She noted, touchign a lock, gently, "What did I tell you about that?" She raised a brow.
Dorian looked around, "Where'd Daft go?"
"I saw him go upstairs.
Dorian sighed and trudged up the steps poking his head into rooms until he found Daft's, "Hey, how's your head?"

"Its kinda hard when you've been tied to a chair... I'm sorry..." Derek murmered.
Daft made no reaction towards Dorian. "Fine." He growled. It was muffled slightly, as he still had his head buried into the pillow.

He stared at the boy's back for a moment, frowning, "Is....something wrong?" He struggled that out, this was goign against his usual nature, "Yeah I know you got hit in the head but you've been acting very....weird." He finished.
She gave him a severe look then grinned, "I suppose that's a good excuse, "Do you want me to comb it for you?" She asked.

"What do you think?" Sorrowed, yet angry grey eyes glared at Dorian, before burying back into the pillow. How was he supposed to express his feelings for the other boy? 'Hi, I'm in Love with you. Will you go out with me?' A fist slammed into the matress, his frustration growing. "How am I supposed to show you?" He whispered, almost forgetting that Dorian was in the room.
"Erm..." Derek started. "You two should get ready for dinner. I'll call your parents, Aya, and let them know you're safe." Mrs. Doomsdon called from the kitchen.

Aya started, "Oh! Oh I forgot! No, I'll call them, where's the phone?" She found it on her own and puched in numbers rapidly, "Mama? No I'm....yes its....Yes, ma I'm at...." She didn't talk for awhile smiling into the reciever, "Hello papa, yes, sorry I worried you guys, I'm at Derek's house, yes." She proceeded to tell them about Kai and his house, "He really is nice, He doesn't like Bloor Sawyer said. Alright, I love you, give mama lots of hugs and kisses. Bye." She hung up and sagged.
Dorian blinked he didn't know what was wrong with Daft, he had no clue although....he did smell odd, "Show me what?" He asked.

Daft made no reply. A few fresh tears streamed down his face, and his shoulders shook slightly. He wanted to go... he was tired of all this emotional stress. And, he was afraid. He was afraid Dorian would hate him if he told him... Afraid that he would just walk away, and he would never see him again. Fear turned into more tears.

Dorian bristled, his hair raising a bit as if they were his fur. He stormed into his room grabbed Daft and made him look at him, "What the hell is wrong with you, man? You're starting to get on my nerves so would you just spit it out?!"

"I.. I l-love you!" Daft blurted. He adverted his eyes, and slumped out of Dorian's grasp, burying his head back into the pillow, his wings wrapping around him protectively. This was it... over the sobs, he waited to hear a door slam. He waited to feel the pain of Dorian leaving. He waited for his heart to break.
((dun dun dunnn... And welcome to the drama channel!))
"They ok with you being here?" Derek asked, placing a hand on Aya's shoulder comfortingly.

((No kidding.))
Dorian released him in surprise and stared at him. A few things ran through his mind but he couldn't grasp them at all, trying to figure ot what Daft had just said even though he'd heard him clear as day, "Oh." He finally said and looked down at his lap, "Oh I see." He looked up at Daft again, "I'm......totally lost."
Aya turned and gave him a smile, "My mom was totally hysterical though, dad will take care of her though, "Now then, what's for dinner?" she asked brightly.

Daft almost winced at Dorian's voice, not expecting it at all. A hint of grey peeked out from the pillow as he had to see for himself that the other boy was really there. The tearworks started up again, as what didnt happen hit him. He wasnt left alone in the room... Dorian didnt walk away.... He rolled onto his side, a wing still hiding his face, though.
"You... Y-you didnt leave..." Daft whispered, sniffling a bit.
"Well, we have a stew going. We will also have some bread, cheeses, and other things to pick from. There will be a small casserole for anyone who doesnt eat meat, and it all should be done, soon." Mrs. Doomsdon called. "Thanks, Mrs. Doomsdon!" Linx shouted for the livingroom, hearing about the meat-free option.

"That sounds delicious...Should I set the table? I hate to be idle..." She grumbled.
Dorian was looking in his lap again, "No. No I'm still here. To tell you the truth I like you too I'm just not sure its exactly the same way....the same way you like me....Its not like your my brother either..." He sighed, "I guess I just want you to be safe is all." He gave a weak shrug, "Does that make sense?"

Daft understood. He felt crushed, yet releived, all in the same instance. He only loved him as a friend. There was nothing more. All he could muster was a solemn nod, then covered his face again. After a few moments, he spoke, his voice cracked and weak. "You should probably go downstairs for dinner. I'm sure Sawyer wouldnt want you to go hungry." Daft didnt even know why he'd said that. It was the last blow to his heart to make it shatter. He muted heavy sobs into the pillow as his body shook. He didnt care anymore. This was worse then before. This time, he didnt get a chance to be dumped.
"Sure." Mrs. Doomsdon said. "Silverware in that drawer. Can one of you go and check on the boys?" She shouted into the livingroom.

Sawyer wasn't sure why he'd said that either. She was standing, unnoticed in the doorway, Don't you dare leave him. She exhorted Dorian mentally knowing he couldn't hear her but hoping that he could
Dorian didnt' move for awhile. He looked down at his hands then leaned forward, grabbed the pillow away from Daft then grabbed Daft and wrapped his arms around the other boy, "Don't stop loving me, okay? Not yet..." He said, his voice a bit hoarse.
She pressed her lips together, hearing Mrs Doomsdon. Not wanting anything to disturb them right now she left and went downstairs, "The boys are fine." She informed everyone.
Aya set the table pausing only to ask where thigns were until the right amount of places were set with silverware and napkins.
Back at his house Kai stood in teh doorway to Yuma's room. He watched her slumber there, it was a gorgeous picture of her a very innocent one. He smiled faintly then left, closing the door behind him, "Bloor, Bloor, biting off more than you can chew. Stupid man." He murmered.

Daft's body was tense for a moment, but he relaxed in Dorian's arms, wraping his own arms around the other boy and hugging back tightly. Sobs still came from him, but he buried his head in Dorian's shoulder, the tears staining his shirt.
"Someone seems upset..." Mrs. Doomsdon noted, but smiled slightly at Aya. Mr. Doomsdon came in and helped his wife move the large pot of stew to a place on the table, making sure to turn off the stove. "Dinner!" The shout rang throughout the house.
Yuma curled up meekly. Even if it was only Dorian she even talked to here, besides Miho and Kai, she felt alone. The house was a bit more barren since there was nobody to barge in on her, anymore.
