My Story

Not So long ago this mare was part of a prestigious family with a bright orange coat and blue accents, she was the eldest of her family, and treasured her younger sibling that was the reverse color of herself. She was happy for most of her childhood.

But the time came when a handsome stallion caught her eye, her family prestigious as it was had the pick of every stallion in the herd no common stallion would do for their firstborn. And so Marie was given to another stallion to strengthen the bonds of the herd, though she never forgot the other she had met so briefly. A few years passed and she had foals with the stallion chosen by her family a few months latter she caught a glimpse of the stallion that held her affections.

Fed up with her life Marie went to him. She wanted to be with him! She spoke of her longing. However the stallion refused, saying because of her children they could not be together. Marie refused this to be true, She'd prove her devotion she told him.

Bringing her children to the river she drowned them, The stallion would not have her, even after everything she had done. Breaking her heart devastating the mare, she fled drowning herself in the same river she previously drowned her children.

However her soul was unable to rest, she couldn't reach the afterlife she had to come with her drowned children... Tears of Blood flowed down her now white coat, and empty black eyes watched the land looking for her children, but a thought occurred.

Any children would do wouldn't they?
