"A Warrior's heart lays in battle, to defend all that he cares for. But what if you lost all that you loved? Am I alone, or has my destiny changed so that I could meet you..?"An unfamiliar scent of the male Wilof'on hit her before she had to hear him, and she turned in surprise upon finding a third member of her and Aidan's species. But the brands on him, while unfamiliar to her because she wasn't raised among the Cosmo Canyon as one of their own, already told her that he was trouble - her parents had taught her that being branded meant that one was a traitor and a criminal. She frowned as he glared at them and snorted out that he found a pair of 'would be' Wilof'ons, which was insulting. What did this male get off of calling her and Aidan as would bes?
Her eyes narrowed as he then bluntly said that they were a little far from 'their precious canyon'. But Aidan only looked at him in confusion and asked what the canyon was. "Cosmo Canyon is home to most Wilof'on," she muttered to Aidan, but her attention was on the male. "Why the hell would you care, traitor?" The name was hissed out as the fire at the end of her tail burned a little brighter.

Deception
Born in grief Raised in hate Helpless to defy his fate Let him run Let him live But do not forget what we cannot forgive Disgrace
And he is not one of us He has never been one of us He is not part of us Not our kind
Argent snarled at being called a traitor by the odd colored female, his fur bristling. He stepped forwards, baring is fangs. "Why isn't any of your business." He glared, watching Aidan keep near Nikita in slight fear of this angry male. "Though, it's a little amazing you'd waste time on an exile like myself." He kept his head low, ready to fight.

But the second sentence made her frown a little. "You approached first, though while I'll fight if I must, I don't want to," she said, though obviously weary of the strange Wilof'on. If he truly were to threaten them, she would attack without a second thought about it. Her body was between her sister-like friend and the male, even though he was staring at them from an higher advantage.

Adian blinked slowly coming out from behind Nikita. Why was this male so angry? And Nikita called him a traitor? "Hey, Nikky? What did you mean traitor?" She whispered.

Am I alone, or has my destiny changed so that I could meet you..?"Nikita's fur bristled as he said that; no one would dare insult her parents, even if it was to insinuate that they couldn't raise a cub as well as they had! "What, and you think it was right of you to call us would-be Wilof'on's? At least I wasn't branded," she said with a snort.
Aidan's whispered question, it didn't fall on deaf ears, and she gave another snort. "He's been branded by the people of Cosmo Canyon. I never been there myself, but they only do it to those that deserves it," she said to Aidan, but loudly enough to be able to be heard by the other.

He bristled as well, snarling at the insult, advancing a step, as if to fight her. "Well, it's been a time since the wilof'on died out, but I don't recall any being purple, or that! " He growled, jabbing a paw at Aidan. "A pair of misfits. How lovely. And don't speak of these markings like you know a damn thing that you're talking about! You haven't lived in the canyon, so I can only guess that your parents were branded as well, or were worse than me, and abandoned their home to die, cowards they were!"

"A Warrior's heart lays in battle, to defend all that he cares for. But what if you lost all that you loved? Am I alone, or has my destiny changed so that I could meet you..?""You don't get to insult Aidan and get away with it!" Nikita said, bluntly ignoring the jib about her own fur color as she looked like she was going to scale the rocks and bite his throat. Frankly, she wasn't born with that color, but due to an incident with a mako pool she had fallen into as a young cub, coming out of it with a different colored pelt. But obviously the stranger wasn't finished, as he called her own brave parents - traitors - while he stood there with the markings! "They were on a mission, and were honorable, more than I can say of you!" The earth crumbled in front of her as the Earth materia used its powers on the rocks, sending the whole cliff down more than a normal materia would be able to do. Then as the earth tumbled down, it erupted into many sharp pillars of rock. Not only was she trained in combat, she was powerful with magic too. "Say that again," she snarled, obviously knowing that the male would easily dodge the attacks in general.

Deception
Born in grief Raised in hate Helpless to defy his fate Let him run Let him live But do not forget what we cannot forgive Disgrace
And he is not one of us He has never been one of us He is not part of us Not our kind
Argent wasted no words, launching himself off of the broken cliff, aiming to tackle Nikita. He took the attack as true challenge and aimed to kill the female. He planned to tear her throat from her neck. He was excommunicated from the Wilof'on, and he didn't care that she was the only unmated female he knew of. Pinning her down, he leaned his muzzle to her ear. "Your. Parents. Were. Cowards. They weren't on a mission. Isn't it convenient they happened to leave just before the attack?" He hissed, raising his claw to finish her off....before yowling in pain, turning to see Aidan on his tail, biting as hard as her little teeth would let her. ThIs big male aimed to hurt Nikky! No way she was going to allow him to do that! Aidan bit down harder, her claws digging into his tail as well. Argent nearly roared in pain and anger, and delivered a powerful kick to the small cub using his back leg, knocking her off of him and a few feet away.(I know this is a bit of power playing, but since it's not quite an attack, I think it's excusable.) Evil as plain as the brands on his face
Someone once lied to us Now we're not so blind For we knew he would do what he's done And we know that he'll never be one of us
Aidan stayed down for a moment, her body recovering from the kick to her dissection scar, before rising again, on all fours, matching Argent's earlier actions, growling and snarling as best she could in her small voice, her teeth bared in the best threat she could manage.

We will answer the call There's a meaning to all our The attack wasn't unexpected, but the force of it truly knocked her off her paws as the male had done so and pinned her down to the ground. Snarling even as he spoke softly into her ear, speaking lies that he probably believed, Nikita was about to slam her back paw into his stomach when he yowled in pain - Aidan had him by the tail, quite literally, and was biting as her jaws could let her. He roared in pain and anger before he delivered a kick into the cub and knocked her away.
Before he would know it, her hind legs slammed into his stomach and flipped him over her, and while he would recover, she was already on her feet and was upon him in the matter of seconds, and her fangs were aimed to sink deeply into his shoulder, even as her own shoulder slammed into his chest as to knock him off his paws again. She was still in control of her own actions, her thoughts set on protecting Aidan as she would fight this male. They were about the same size and weight, though obviously while he was built for muscles and strength, she was built for leanness and speed.

As Nikita's fangs buried themselves in his shoulder, he roared again, before being knocked onto his back again. He had no materia, only his own skills to save him in a fight as he shot back to his feet as fast as he could with an injured shoulder, and charging her, intending to knock her off of her feet. The female was skilled for not having been raised in the canyon amongst her people. Argent himself only knew a few skills of his people by being taught, having been far to young to learn anything advanced when he was cast out. Still, she was to skilled for him to waste time on, and she had magic on her side. Argent knew he had to end this quick. He took a chance, hoping to infuriate her to the point of foolishness. "This won't last long.."He taunted. "And then I'll kill that thing. That insult to your species. Your welcome.." He inwardly winced that he had, as he sometimes did, admitted the Canyon right, and claimed himself outside of the Wilof'on.

That was going to make his movements awkward. She used that to her advantage as he charged at her, and she leaped away easily to one side, the male charging past her. There was no sense of magic about him, and she knew that he was materia-less. The magic was on her side.
The arrogant male made another attempt to taunt her, but her eyes merely narrowed as her claws extended from their sheathes. "You still have to kill me, and I protect those that I love with every breath and drop of blood I offer," she said as she crouched, not about to charge in at him recklessly. "Aidan will never be hurt by anyone." The fire burned on her tail all the more fiercely as she waited for the male to attack.

Argent kept his teeth bared, knowing there was no point in continuing this fight. Killing this female wasn't possible now. She was far to fast for him when he was injured. He eyed Aidan. Killing the cub would be easier. She still was trying to threaten him, and wouldn't be able to react to him attacking in time. A wicked grin spread across his face as he decided, batting a paw-full of dirt at Nikita as he spun, lunging at Aidan and pinning her down, the cub burying her small claws into his leg, but he didn't care, focusing on his prey. "It seems you're as much a failed protector as your parents. I guess it will be hurt today." He raised his claws again, going to spill every drop in the experiments body.

Nikita's eyes were glowing silver with her rage-induced Limit Break attack, even though they were stinging with the dirt that the male had thrown into her face. A little blindly, she made her way to Aidan and pulled her to safety. "You know nothing." But... even as she walked a certain distance so as to make sure that the male had to travel quite a bit to attack them again, the vines, which were still whipping him, were suddenly withdrawing back into the ground. While Argent wasn't placed all that gently on the ground, he wasn't being attack anymore. Nikita's glow faded as she watched the male with apprehensive eyes.

She panted, fear at her near death racing through her body. She looked to the male, picking himself up off the ground, and then back to Nikita. "Nikky...why does he hate us? What were you two talking about?"Argent growled, hearing the youngers words. "Because she, just as you, are fools. Loyal to the canyon, even though should those pitiful Wilof'on still be alive, you'd surely be cast out just as I, merely because you're misfits." He snarled, seeming furious. "Or likely, cast out simply because they didn't want you." He growled lowly.
