Akane rushed into the office, smiling. "I killed them!" She shouted. She then realized, that it could sound weird to some people, so she added: "The goblins. To complete the mission." Akane made a pause, thinking what else to say. "I didn't bring the bodies, but I know where to find them, if it's needed." Akane remembered, that this mission was important somehow, so she wanted to know what changed. "So... what do I do now?"

"Does that mean I'm a novice now?" Akane said happily. She was a bit confused, though. "But... Don't I still need a teacher? I am quite weak and don't imagine training by myself yet..." She was a bit ashamed that she doubted herself, but she really wanted to train with a teacher.
Chilling2 I just read about the novice rank, and they can learn new skills with a new teacher or by completing quests... So I thought that I still have the right to have a teacher sweatdrop

"Yes, you're Novice now. I still can help you if you like. But I'm just saying that you can do stuff on your own now. If you think you are still weak, than you need to grow more confident for yourself. None of the teachers around will always be around to assist." She said back to her.
egloo You still do, I just thought you don't need my help with training anymore. Once your novice, you're know well enough how to train yourself. Sometime at the rank of Novice, people head strait off to go meet new people.

Chilling2 Oh, well, when I read about novices, I figured they can't train by themselves. But can I learn C rank skills on my own? Because I learned all E and D that I could ^^. And I would love to meet others, I just think they'll kill me xD. And, just in case, this mission I just had, it was D rank?

egloo Yes, you can learn all the C ranks now. And I do think the mission is D since Goblins were pretty weak to fight with.

He dropped the wolf-like creatures on the floor before going up to one of the officials to restock on bullets. He then carried the charlies over to Feather and placed them down, before speaking.
"I completed my mission- wiped out six charlies!" Despite wanting to play it cool, Geddon was plainly glowing with pride, and he burst out: "It was really cool! There was this bit where I lured them in with my Vitae and then when they bit my limbs these spikes came out of the Vitae guards I'd made- it was awesome!" Geddon caught himself, and then said, rather more professionally, "I brought back these two for meat, but I was also wondering if there were any more skills I could learn, or any more missions that need doing- or both?"

"Slow down" She held up her hands to ease off the young boys gibberish. Seeing the two charlies he brought with him, "I take your word that you token care of those charlies. From accomplish your job, you earned your rank to Novice." He replied to him. "You are able to learn some new skills that will be suited to your level. Sadly, I don't have any jobs I can offer you right now. It's best that you start training yourself until another one comes up." She told him.

He crossed over to the desk at the office, to get his new larger ammo pouch and update some paperwork, before crossing back to Feather. Now he felt as if he might really be able to gain some strength- he fell silent for a moment, thinking about what skills he wanted to learn. "Hmmm, please may I have some books on Trickster skills, Ysari skills and Pistol skills? I can train myself if you're busy."

All three looked very interesting. "So Feather, what level of skill do you think I will be able to use now?" he asked as he skimmed through the book of Trickster skills, "Because I think I'd like to start with learning some more speed techniques."
He looked intently at the page which showed the next rank of speed training, as well as some other Trickster skills such as Dash. What with how useful his speed had come in when fighting the charlies, Geddon was eager to learn more about the powers of a Trickster.

Right, so, to learn the next rank of speed training I had better strengthen my legs again...okay, five more laps round the academy I guess."
Geddon psyched himself up, and then ran towards the exit of the academy. Once outside, he began to run, his legs skipping over the ground as it flew past his feet. Already, with his new reserves of energy, he could feel himself getting faster and faster. When he reached his third lap, no waves of tiredness lapped at him as they had done previously, and neither did fatigue arrive at the fourth or even fifth lap so Geddon kept going, reaching first his sixth, then seventh lap, before finally going back inside after his eighth.
While he was panting slightly, Geddon mostly felt exhilarated by his new levels of speed. He nodded at Feather, before perusing the book once more and looking at the Dash skill.
