I sensed Akira was worried about something. I asked, "What's wrong, Kira?"

I groaned, "When Sora finds me, I am so going to be dead."

I laughed. "Michiru-mama never tells what's for breakfast." I said. I started humming while sitting at the bar. I swung my legs almost childishly as Michiru-mama continued to cook. "You're right. You probably are dead." I chirped.

I smiled lightly, "A sense of mystery. I always did like solving mysteries."
That's when I grinned, "Probably not. Sora's probably so angry that she's letting that take her over. When she doesn't let her emotions take over, she's far more of a challenging foe. As the two rules of combat state, 'Never strike in anger, and don't attack unless you are attacked.'."

My eyes widened in shock in response to Akira's new attitude. I thought, 'What's gotten into Kira? He's become far more confident than ever before. What happened that he radically changed his attitude of life? Usually, he'd be pained and saddened by his past... But now... He's more confident, more open...'

I looked at Shinichi. I smiled, "Thanks to a talk that I had last night with..."
(Shinichi)
I grabbed the device that I went to sleep with. That's when I noticed the symbol on this device. I smiled, "Lucky duck. So I guess she saved you again last night?"
(Akira)
I smiled, while looking at the rising sun. I said, "Saved me from living a life of pain, depression, and absolute negative darkness. Surpisingly enough, her darkness actually comforted me. She is truly amazing."

I rested my head on my hand. For some reason I hated that they were talking about me without knowing it was actually me. It was almost like they were talking behind my back.

I blinked at when Akira said Natsume. I asked, "Who?"

I sighed, "My little sister. I've let my pain, sadness and sorrow control my life for far too long. If I'm going to have true friends by my side, I guess the first thing I should do is be honest and open up about my past."

I gasped. That's when I remembered the accident on the front page of the news a couple of years ago. I asked, "That was you?"

I stood up and left the room. I couldn't handle the conversation. Quickly I rushed down the hall and threw myself into my room. I sighed and laid down across the bed. I stared at the clock for a moment then decided that I would lay here until it was time to leave.

I saw Hotaru left the room. I knew she didn't want to think of me in pain. I said, "There's more. My parents were under the influence..."
(Shinichi)
I asked, "They blamed you, didn't they? They didn't want to blame themselves... Oh man, they... Hurt you, didn't they?"
(Akira)
I grimly nodded.
(Shinichi)
I said, "I've wanted to help people that were abused, I still want to be a child psychologist when I grew up... I didn't think my first case would be you, Kira-kun. Why... Why didn't you tell us this?"
(Akira)
I sighed, "I thought you wouldn't understand."
(Shinichi)
I replied, "The fact that your parents harmed you, I wouldn't understand. That much, I know. However, I do understand the pain, sadness and sorrow that you've been through. I'm sure Sora would understand too."
(Akira)
I smiled, "Thanks, Shin-kun."

That's when I went to Hotaru's room. I sighed, while looking in her eyes for a hint of understanding. "I don't want to pry or anything but at least tell me something, Hotaru. You also lost someone you cared for, didn't you?"
