Kudo laughed and smiled with a nod. "Alright, I'll make my speciality. Angel hair with my personal sauce recipe, stolen from your grandmother." He ruffled his son's gorgeous blonde hair and followed his lover and son into the kitchen. "I'm surprised no one else is home..."
Hikuzu grinned and let go, "Sorry mom."

Aure giggled as his hair was ruffled. He did enjoy the feel of hands in his hair. "It sounds lovely dad. I like angel hair pasta." He skipped after Kudo, his troubles forgotten.
"It's all right love." Hiryo smiled.

Kudo got to work and boiled the water as he chopped up some tomatoes and spices. "Aure dear, help your mother." Kudo's hair was even tied back for safety measures so his blind eye could be seen.
Hikuzu hugged his mom once and then looked for the dishes.

"But Hikuzu doing that. Can I help you with something instead?" Aure asked not put off by the blind eye. He barely noticed it as he waited his tail wagging lazily. "Please?"
Hiryo smiled at his son and started to set up the cups.

Kudo looked at Aure, his scarred grey eye closed and blinked with his green eye. "Um..." Kudo looked around, "You could. Do me a favor, when the water boils put in the pasta and stirr gently. Okay?" After Kudo combined the spices and tomatoes in a bowl he set up a pan next to the large pot of boiling water and added in some canned tomato paste which he began to heat up.
Hikuzu hummed happily while setting up the dishes. Of course he had remembered to set his guitar down before doing so or it would've gotten in the way.

Aure slowly added the pasta into the boiling water. He picked up the wooden spoon and begain to stir the pasta gently. "Isn't suppose to be softer?" He questioned.

"It'll get softer and after about ten minutes it'll be perfectissimo." Kudo said gently grinning. After the sauce was all set up he took a test taste and then added a few more spices and some salt.

"I got a new job. I'm going to be working as a dancer at a club."Aure said poking the pasta with a wooden spoon. "The anthro's there are really nice though they think I'm cute."

Kudo's blonde ears twitched, "Yea? That's great Aure my boy." He took the sauce off direct heat and put a lid on it. "How's the pasta coming?"
Hikuzu's own ears lifted from his blue hair and they pointed forward, "Dancer eh?"

Aure nodded. "Yup I'm a dancer now. There are two anthros that really dance insync with one another they are so beautiful." Aure poked the pasta he was stirring. "It's all soft now. Brother could I have a tape of your songs to dance to?"

Hikuzu sweatdropped, "Um I'll see..." Truth was, Hiku didn't exactly have any yet but he was working on it. He think he almost had bagged a deal with a record company but he wasn't sure, of course, his happy-go-lucky side wouldn't let him be pessimistic.
"Another minute and then drain and strain it in the sink in the colander." Kudo said looking at it calmly.

"Thank you." Aure beamed at his brother, seeming to miss the sweatdrop. "It's going to be so fun." He became steady staring at the pasta for a moment and went to drain it. He tipped it over a little recklashly causing the water to spash his arm. "Owwch."

Hikuzu's ear perked up and he looked at his brother, his ear immediately flattening, "Aure? You alright?"
Kudo smirked a little and took the pot from Aure, and shuffled him away from the sink, "Go let Hikuzu look at it." He then proceeded to dump the pasta into a bowl and mix it with his sauce.

Aure nodded, scuffleing over to his brother to let him look at the splash burn. "It just a burn." He bit his lip it was begaining to sting a bit.
