Tjaden was in a place, mentally, far beyond rational thought. He dove in with both swords, light blazing from one, steel shining with reflected light on the other. He was no longer simply an Orc, or even at knight, he was channeling the righteous wrath of justice itself. This creature and its allies had threatened his friends, brought evil into the world and conspired to harm innocent people. He would not suffer it to live.

Tjaden prepared his mind and body , pulled his anger in towards his heart and let it turn from the blind rage into fully focused fury. He sprang forward, his swords flying before him points angled for the heart of the mutant.

"By the ancestors, I will smite you. Your bones will smolder here even as the evil you have wrought fades to nothing." Tjaden cried as he made his attempt to strike down the cultist.

Erron figures that the chance of a wayward attack striking him has reduced to a figure he was much more comfortable with and after briefly considering tossing Kal at the dragonoid he instead rushed in with a flurry of kicks aimed at Malfus' ribs hoping that a rib or two might be broken and the fight brought to an end.

((I wonder if tossing a rogue at an enemy would give them the opening to take a bit of training in acrobatics later on XD ))

((That'd be cool with me. An acrobatic, shadowy thief/rogue/shadow person. Haha. Pretty cool. But first thing I want is the poison-making ability or something along those lines. Poison would be awesome.))

Selce whimpered as the flames enfolded her, the pain seemed as if it happened to someone else. She was singed and felt the burns but they were nothing to what she would throw back. Laren! She knew the Ranger would be burned but her other friends needed her too. She could see Erron's close proximity to the beast and so started a diffrent spell than the lightning bolt she had intended. Another SUN SCORCH spell shot out at Malfius. She hoped the battle of attrition that was being fought would end soon.

Tjaden's anger seemed to abate slightly. His attacks became more precise and he began to once again fend off incoming attacks. He jumped back when Malfius closed his wings and rolled under the fire breathe when he exploded onto the offensive. However, he did not spare a look back to see the effect. All that mattered now was taking down Malfius.

Tjaden knew Selce's power was limited and Laren probably was having a hard time landing a shot due to her three companions swirling about in the melee. The longer this held out, the more chance that Malfius would get lucky enough to damage one of them beyond their limits.

He realized, almost as if for the first time, that he had lost his shield. His training did not work so well with two hand weapons and once again shifted his tactics, using only his magic sword and holding his original sword like a torch more for light than for any combat use.

From the corner of his eye, Tjaden saw Kal's thrust while Erron at the same time tried to pull the creature's wings from its sockets, apparently. Knowing that both were open to attack from the creature's blades, Tjaden launched his own attack, a series of horizontal offensive strocks aimed at the creatures head and upper body, hoping Malfius would falter under the combined efforts of the close combatants.
