Dryfolius Lol, well yea that would explain it, but hey, me and my friends dont care if there invalidated or not, we just collect and collect to have more and more. Hopefully, the tau develope Power armor... If tau get powerd armor, I am straping wings to my termys. 3nodding

Tau already have one, its called a crisis suit.
If their normal troops get 3+ I am going to wrong up to games workshop through all my models at the nearest employer and yell, "YOU SUCK" as loud as I can...then I may hang a codex from a string and burn it, well a tau codex actually.
By they way Isis that assault squad with sticks would be very funny..
"Hey the codex says a close combat weapon so my squad with sticks is just as good as your squad with chains words! Ha!"

I just got done painting my assualt squad(will post picks later) and I may just remodel them like that...will take a day or so though.

If your gonna fling models at employees, fling what ever you have in pewter, more damage per model that way. twisted Affter shouting "You suck" while burning the codex you have to yell "For the Greater good ! " I am going to be getting another full assault squad very soon, they will all be carrying sticks. mrgreen A real dis on an IG army would be to have them carrying Las guns by the barrel as close combat weapons. rofl

If they took the fluff and made the stats match Tau would get better to hit rolls for there targeting stuffies.

I am a Marine player fist, and I have Tau. My comment was on the fence. Both have fluff to game problem, where as Tau wouldn't miss with the fixes, they also wouldn't survive long enough to aim if they fix the marines. ninja

Well one thing is for sure if you think a Tau is a good aim you need to think about space marines. We hit a 3+ that sounds all good right but did you know a Marine has near perfect accuracy? Not only that but the Bolter shots are homing, yes they can track their targets to an extent. Plus I can tell you from seeing what a 50 Cal. round will do to a full grown buck a .75 cal round would kill a human sized (Imperial Guards, Tau, and Orks, plus many nids, eldar and other human sized creatures) a lot easier then it does. I mean I don't think people realize how big that kind of round is and what kind of damage it can cause.
Anyways, as you all know Easter is coming up for those of us that celebrate that holiday and as such family time is now in high demand. So
that means I probably won't be around much until next Tuesday. I have some plans that require my time and attention. So please stay active and listen to Isis since I need someone to keep you all inline. wink
