(Where are you fighting at? In a building? In a valley?)
Scarlett and her squad hopped into a pelican with two other squads, and they were off. She stayed in her seat tight, barely being able to contain herself. After a few minutes, a battlefield came into view, and the pelican flew past it, finding a landing zone.

The pelican descended next to a treeline, and the marines were quickly rushed out. She heard someone yell something inaudible, but the first three squads of the reinforcements headed into the forest for cover as then made their was to the battle.

THe forces were thinning but the hard ones were left, spec ops she hadnt killed from the covie raid and she started to fight them... surprisingly they seemed to be sparring with her.

The marines ran and soon found the covenant. Grunts burst behind trees, and soon fell dead. The sound of gunfire grew, than ceased. Snipers creeped to their flank in the trees, and the first round of soldiers ran onto the field. Scarlett waited for her squad. Running down the treeline, she stayed out of sight, threw a grenade, and ran into the woods, running into a jackal. Before it could turn around, she smashed the butt of her rifle into it's skull, and kicked it's body behind a tree. She sat in the shadows with four others from her squad. One fiddled with his COM and whispered to another private.

"thanks, but you missed all the fun!" She said kicking another spec in the stomach and litirally hurled her knife into its skull.

"What the hell are you soilders doing. Get the hell out of those woods. We will take them out when they charge us." he was getting irritated at how things where turning so fast. He couldnt leave his spot or he would get killed the those marines needed to get out of the forest.

"its fine they can come out, thats all of then, i just needed backup. Lets move back out everyone!" She said waving them back to the camp... her limp was severe yet again.

Their squad leader keyed them in, and she got up, sprinting, almost tripping on the body of am elite. She side-stepped a running grunt, and loaded bullets into it's back until he fell. Two elites came running, one threw a plasma nade. She ran backwards, switching to her M6D and loaded 4 rounds into it's head.

"Kristi, I call the shoots. Mathias expects me to take care of the problem on this side." he stoped talking to kristi and keyed his com againe make a direct link to the squad captains in the forest and said "Pull your men out now, you will be overwelmed if you don't pull out now goddamit" he didn't want to lose anymore marines then nessacary. He fired at a jackel percing its skull before it could attack a female figer takeing on a elite with a M6D.

"tch whatever then, cya back at base..." kristi said coldly and continued to wal kto base, taking the blood stained daggar from the elites skull and kicking a few moving covie bodies that were on the grounda s she went.

Mathias had been busy with other things then fighting. After all, as far as he knew he was the commanding officer of Alpha Base at this point. Major Orden's presence had been long since seen, so he assumed command at this point. It wouldn't be good if he had been killed in the fighting anyways. For now though he was trying to contact the Armengald for help, as there was still a large army out there of covenant with armor as well, it was too large of a force for them to hold out against..
'This is Lieutenant Mathias Twombley, we are encountering a large number of Covenant; Armor, Infantry and a large flight of banshees. Fighting has already broke out. We need assistance, repeat we need assistance!--'
The only broadcasted order he gave was:
'Squad leaders, maintain position on the base perimeter, pull back your marines if they aren't--'

The medic's toiled on his back, but they were running out of blood, He lost four pints in the run, he was barely alive, He flatlined a few times, but he always came back. The medics needed one more pint of AB+ blood, neither were that type, Bisenti's burnt skin was now celaned and covered, but he was so low on blood from the needler wounds, he still might die.
"We need a pint of AB+ blood now! We are going to loose him otherwise!"
the heartrate monitor made a droning sound. the line was flat again
"We're loosing him again!" the head medic yelled as he grabbed the defibulator. they were able to bring him back to the unstable state.

Mendez heard the crackle of static and Lieutenant Mathais's voice come over the com. "Squa- -ta- -tion on th- -er -ull back mar- if....." Static. Mendez pulled a pin and tossed the grenade hearing the satisfying scream of covenant behind him. "Did any of you get that?" Negative. "Go find com. He'll have it."
