I must say finding someone who fights like me is truly up lifting to a warrior..

Star stood there as the blow went through him. he look at Kura seeming;y happy yet dissapointed.* those who aren't fast as us put up more interesting fights. Wouldn't you agree? it's odd fighting on truly leveled ground.

I'm a 21 year old human.....and besides my speed I'm more of a spell caster. My wings are the result of such a spell too. and your not that much faster then me.....your keen sense's lets you predict me more then i can predict you. that's why you seem a step ahead of me.

just cause you more experienced then me doesn't mean YOU can get cocky. YOu ragged at me for it and now your doing the same *turns his back to him* If this is all your going to do in this spar then it's a waste of both of our time.

((Poor fellow. I dare say it's less annoying than fighting a god-modder who gives his character powers he never had as the fight progresses, and then at the bottom of every one and half line post says how he kills you. And I mean someone semi-literate doing this. That was hell. I sorta reacted like you did eventually, except by telling him to leave my thread instead of going myself. Anyway, I do have to say that even though you weren't god moding, you have to understand that you've put you're character in a state where he's near invincible, while I, though I'm not certain about anyone else, tried to load mine down with weaknesses because I knew I'd find really useful ways to use his powers eventually. It's just that giving yourself speed that fast means you can land just about any blow, and dodge any non-magical attack. If you just aim for a vital point, you could instantly kill anyone, and I mean without even going to light speed as most of our characters wouldn't be as fast as anyone who selected to make speed their specialty. Speed really is just about the ultimate ability, second to only godmoding, really. And while I've yet to take any physics classes, I beleive that going at that sort of speed would have made any turn incredibly difficult, meaning rather than running right around him you'd have to sort of run out of the arena and then make a wide turn and come in a straight line back toward him and in order to make those attacks would either need a long distance of slowing down, or he'd need to do them on the run, in which case he'd pretty much inflict permanant near-mortal injuries wherever he struck, breaking, ripping off, and or bursting all of the blood vessels and bones within whatever limbs he struck, just by the force of the impact such a speed would render, and doing the same to his own unless his body is incredibly resilent. Also, there's the effects of the friction that would incur, not only with the ground but the air, and this not even turning or stopping, but simply gaining such a speed. I'm going to stop here as this must be really long already and I'm pretty sure we're supposed to keep most OOC in the thread for it. None of this saying that he or myself are better than you, you're likely the most knowledable of the three of us, and obviosly a great rp-er. I'm just saying none of us are perfect, accepting before you reply stating so, that you never claimed to be. I make this post taking into consideration only what you've said, not what I have, by the way.))

It was an amazing fight. Once he was finished speaking with Reaper, Rivven had nothing better to do than watch and try to learn what he would be up against when he started fighting in the tournament. Of course he couldn't really watch, both combatants were much faster than himself, beyond what any human should be able to do. Of course he was no longer human, and meybe he himself could do that one day. But he prefered to balance his abilities rather than concentrating on one. You never could predict where life you place you, so the best strength one could ever possess was lack of weakness, the ability to function under any condition. This said, he monitered every move they made despite their speed. Though it made his head spin, he caught even the placement of the fingers and toes of the apparently faster man's final mad dash. He liked learning others tricks and putting them to use. Ricardo had always used air to moniter where things were, much more affective than sight as if you put the tiniest bit of energy out, and reached into the air rather than even bothering to control it, you could feel where any mass was within the air, that masses shape, and how it moved. Of course, he couldn't control air so he'd learned his own way of using the other assassin's trick. There was more than enough water vapor in the air for him to do the equivelant. Simply amazing. If he fought either in a battle without magic, to be able to use against them, he didn't fancy his chances would be that great. But maybe he could yet find a weakness from studying them. Sitting on a bleacher, he lunged idly and observed.

((If you would like my option I can give it. THe speed of light is unreachable except by two things. That would be light of course and schlar waves. Schlar waves are only theory anyway and haven't been proven by anybody. They can only move that way because they are both a particle and a wave at the same time. The human body is a particle and if it moved at the speed of light then the molecules that made up your body would rip apart.

And the second reason humans can't move at the speed of light is that their reaction time is not good enough. Electricity has the potential to move almost as fast as the speed of light if in a perfect conductor (which doesn't exsist by the way) and even then it can't reach it. Since the human body uses electricity to convey movements to the muscles the brain would think of it and you would be a a hundred meters past where you first thought of the movement.
