((They make such a cute couple. ^^))
Mina smiled. "Maybe your cat would want a smaller playmate," she said. The lion disappeared and then a cat appeared. She laughed. "I'm not limited to lions, but they are generally easy to summon and control." Mina's cat started to chase Leah's cat. "House cats, on the other hand, are very hard to control. They have minds of their own."
Hiro smiled as the two cats started to run around. He was glad that everything was peaceful for once. My life has been turned around in a matter of a few hours, he thought.

Rina was sitting in Rita's room. I no longer owe that girl anything. When we next meet, it will be as enemies, she was thinking, remembering how Mina had saved her life by healing the wound that she had inflicted, then remembering how she asked Yin to release her. She stood up and walked over to Rita's bed. She looked at her sleeping face and smiled.

Mimi wondered into a forest that was near by. She began to walk through it, singing softly as she walked. She was at peace here, in the quiet, pretty forest. She walked for awhile until she was at a small clearing filled with beautiful flowers. She blinked. She was amazed, yet again. As she walked through it, she picked a red one, which matched her eyes, and put it in her hair.

Annexus was reluctant to see Lilly go, but he did.
When she asked him her question, he sighed and looked up. "The Gods are every bit as capable of emotion and ambition as humans. While most are content to leave us to our own devices, there are those that both fear us, and those that envy us. They fear what we could become, and they envy that which mortality brings us. Humans are capable of great feats, and, because they are mortal, the knowledge that they will die makes every life that much more beautiful. Humans reveal in their happiness, as well as their sadness, they are capable of wondrous acts of expression."
He looked at Lilly. "Humans act on our emotions and instincts. Because of the fact that life does not last, Long term ambitions are lost on us, we live and act in the moment, and seek what beauty we can in the instant. That is what they envy . . . . the passion that comes with a short life."
Annexus sat in his throne. "And so, there are those that would wish to end all of that, as well as those that would enslave humans, so that they could feel some measure of control over that. They could force the people to be miserable, and thus turn the beauty that comes with being alive, into a tapestry of pain and suffering."
"And yet, there are others, that simply wish to control everything, Gods do have their own petty squabbles, which turn into tragic wars here . . . "

Hiro sighed. "I can't believe how quickly our lives have been flipped upside down. Just a few hours ago, I was living a peaceful life. Now, I'm being hunted by Annexus," he said.
"That's one thing that comes from being an Eternal Eyes: You have to fight just to survive and there are a lot of people that would just love to stick a knife between your ribs," Mina said.

Mimi was walking when she suddenly fell into a hole. "Ah!" She screamed as she fell. She hit the bottom of it and made a small 'oof' sound. She stood up, brushing her self off. "Gee....what the hell?" She murmured. She looked up, and saw that the opening was a few feet above her head, where she couldn't reach. She sighed and looked around where she was at. It was dark, she could barely see anything. She saw something in the corner and moved closer. She saw that it was a human skeleton, gasped, and backed up to the other side of the small area. She was catching her breath when she felt something on her foot. "What the---?" She said, looking down. It was a spider. Not just any spider, a GIANT spider. She screamed and kicked it away, then sliced it with her scythe. Breathing heavily, she slumped against the wall of the area and tried to catch her breath. She hated spiders. Absolutely hated them. Not just hated, but was terrified of. She pulled her knees close, she was feeling scared now, scared and lonely.

Hiro heard Mimi scream. "Mimi! Korsu, Varnis, stay here with Mina and Lilly. I'm going to see what happened," he said, then ran off in the direction of her scream. "Mimi! Where are you!?" he called. "Mimi!"
"Hiro!" Mina started to say before he took off. She sighed. "And, he's off."

Mimi lifted her head when she heard a voice. She immediately recognized it as Hiro's. "I'm down here!" She shouted, cuffing her hands around her mouth to make her voice louder.

Hiro followed her voice to a hole. "Grab my hand and don't let go," he told her as he put his arm down into the hole to pull her out.

"Uh....Okay!" Mimi said. She looked up, saw his hand, and grabbed onto it tightly. She had been in near tears before he came, she was that scared.

Hiro pulled Mimi up with very little effort. She was light for someone her age. At least light enough for someone two years younger to easily pick her up. "Are you okay?" he asked when she was finally out of the hole.

Mimi nodded. She wiped her eyes slightly. "Y-Yeah....I'm fine....thanks.." She said. She then looked at him and smiled. "I'm really glad you found me..." She said then paused. "...I was really scared." She admitted.

Mimi suddenly hugged him. "Thank you Hiro." She said. "I feel better now.." She did too. She felt safe, just like he told her she was. She trusted him.

The sudden hug caught Hiro off guard and he blushed. He hugged her back. They sat like that for a few moments, then Hiro broke off. "Come on. We should get back before Mina starts to worry," he said.

Mimi blushed slightly when he hugged her back. "Uhm...yeah. We should." She said, standing up.
