 Riane felt herself being picked off her feet and her eyes opened only slightly smiling softly when she saw it was just Rychter. She closed her eyes again and curled her arms to her chest the rocking of his walk making her fall asleep in his arms.

"Really?" Animne was surprised by this, and Nick was, too. "Our parents had no such issues, and often criticized us for it. I don't know of other family that would have the blind eye, but Nick and I have opposite blind eyes." She looked to see Nick thinking, about something. "Nick, what are you thinking of?"
"I remember a year ago when you nearly fell from the cliff on that vacation to the Grand Canyon that you were completely blind, sis. Eventually, with some others then Mom and Dad helping you up, you still couldn't see until six months later."

 Rychter didn't mind all the stares he was getting from the students and teachers of the school. He continued to carry Riane out of the school and down the streets, back to his house. When he arrived, Rychter had a little trouble opening the door, but managed to do so without waking her up. He then put her down in his bed and kissed her forehead lightly, "i'll be back later" He told her  Zelos listened to both f them speak and then went deep into thought. The circled around the entire situations and then came up with a hypothesis,
"I have a theory, but it's still only a theory" He told them, "Maybe your blindness is caused by mental instability and brainwaves gone awry"
As he spoke he doubted the words himslef, but it did make a bit of sense

Riane smiled softly feeling a soft touch to her forehead. Though she was sleeping she still reacted to it. She curled up further on herself feeling soft material under her. Riane slept well all day dreaming soundly, she woke up a couple hours later and yawned sitting up. It seemed that Rychter wasn't back yet from school but looking at the clock she could see he would be home soon. She got up and went to the kitchen changing her clothes taking one of Rychter's large shirts over her underwear and bra so she was more comfortable but it was like a dress especially since he was so tall. Riane started to cook some lunch for him half asleep, she splashed cold water on her face having not woken up when she washed her face before. As she cut some tomatoes she slipped and cut her palm gasping. She quickly took a rag and held it to her palm biting her lip. Rychter was going to get mad at her, she was afraid he would yell at her.

"Well... Nick wouldn't be mentally unstable, and I'm not quite sure if it would be brainwaves awry, but... It is a good thing to think of the problem for. You could be right." Animne nodded slightly, as Nick sat to her right beside her. "Whatcha say, little brother?"
"Maybe." Nick mused, as he really did think if it was right, like Animne had.

Rychter had returned to school without Riane and was still getting odd glimpses at him every now and then by the girls, but he ignored them for the most part. The work handed out was easy enough and he finished it quite quickly. When the day had finally ended, Rychter headed home to meet up with Riane, but was cut off by the head cheerleader and a guy... "So you think you can embarress me like that and just get away scott free" She said, "Not a chance" Rychter looked up at her and smiled his seductive grin that made women melt. The head cheerleaders legs went wobbly and the man grabbed her. rychter took the time to slide past them and get away from them. He had taken a few turns to lose them and then headed home. As he unlocked the door he slid in and locked it behind him. Rychter sighed and then headed up the stairs. As he got into the kitchen, he smiled at Riane, "Cooking are we" He said, It was then that he noticed the blood on the knife and he rushed over to her, "Where did you cut yourself?" He asked her Zelos simply chuckled a bit,
"All I meant was that your blindness could be caused by times where you were scared or mad" He told them, "Pretty much any time when your emotions got a little fired up and then your barinwaves could have veered away and not fixed themselves properly"

Riane didn't hear Rychter come in. She cursed herself holding the cloth to her cut and clutching it, she bit her lip hoping she could get it fixed before Rychter came. She jumped when she heard his voice wincing when he rushed over to her worried. Her lip trembled and she held out her palm that clutched the bloody cloth. In her old home when she would make a mistake she wold get punished for it. "I d-didn't m-mean to."

Rychter looked up at her face and smiled, "Don't worry about it, but are you okay" He asked her, 'It's quite deep"Rychter then took her hand and put it in the sink and began to rush cold water over it

"I've had worse...I'm sorry Rychter I just wanted to make you something nice and it slipped...I didn't know it was very sharp too." Riane's eyes filled with tears as she kept talking so he wouldn't be mad. It was true that she had had worse but she just didn't want Rychter to be mad at her, she knew she shouldn't compare him to her moms bf though.

Nick shrugged it off and went to self teaching his school lesson he had for the day.

Rychter smiled and chuckled a bit. He then wiped her tears away, "You shouldn't cry" He told her, "Although it is quite cute. I appreciate the sentiment, but if you hurt yourself too much then it's not good"As he spoke, Rychter continued to wash Riane's wound Zelos was concerned with the two's reaction to his theory and began to think about it. He then turned to Animne and smirked,
"I'll have your glasses by tomorrow" he told them, "Or would you prefer contacts?"

Riane looked up at him her lip trembling and smiled as he wiped her tears away nodding. He loved her he always looked out for her she should stop thinking about her past he actually cared about her. "Okay Rychter..I know..I'm sorry." Riane winced as he washed her wound whimpering, it was stinging and burning.

"I don't care which, really. It isn't a bother either way." Animne secretly smiled to herself. This, along with Nick, was someone who actually cared for her well-being. It was nice, being noticed.

Zelos nodded,
"What about Nick though" He saidRychter finished washing out the wound and then smiled at Riane. He then took her hand gently and began to wrap it up with some cloth, "You are a little clumsy aren;t you" He said with a smile
