Caleb looked to her. "...I wanted to rest alone." He replied.

Moé got the message, and, trying desperately not to show she was hurt [as she didn't want to be consoled], Moé nodded. She went into her room to sleep, though she obviously couldn't. If I can't go to Hell, what could I possibly do to redeem myself for my crime....?

Caleb watched her leave. He felt slightly guilty about what he had just said. His head rested back on the bed.

Moé sighed silently. I didn't know. It wasn't my fault. Those last four words were very foreign to her mind, but she stoically accepted them. Whatever.

Caleb could not fall back asleep. He stood and walked out of his room and down the stairs. He entered into the parlor, and to his surprise, the flames had licked their from the fireplace and into the room, which it had ignited on a blanket. Caleb started to try to stamp on the fire, to no avail. He ran into the kitchen, searching for something that hold water to choke the flames.

Moé woke from her bitter stupor and smelled burning. "Not again..!" [[she hates the smell.]] She bolted downstairs to the kitchen, and saw Caleb, but no fire. Her mind instantly processing what had happened, she filled up a big stew pot with water and handed it to him.

Caleb snatched the pot. Because of the ponderous pot's weight, he went into a slowed run. Coming to the fire, he dumped its contents onto the fire, smothering it. He came back into the kitchen. "...Many blessings."

Moé blushed, and then looked away. "...Really, it was nothing." She turned around and began to walk back towards the stairs.

"....Is there something wrong?" Caleb asked before she left the room. "...If it was my faulty, then I am terribly sorry."

Moé froze where she stood and shook her head. "No, Sir. I just don't want to hurt you by being too close." She continued to walk to the stairs.

Caleb tilted his head slightly to the right in response. "Yourself does not injure myself by being close." He walked after her.

Moé turned around to him. "You calmly worked by yourself before I came and ruined everything. I have caused you to be the victim of illusion, and have selfishly asked for your attention from someone more deserving. And even just now, I turned your dreams to the worse." She continued walking.

Moé turned around. She was flushed with pleasure at what he had said, but shook her head. "N-No..." She backed up, but there was a wall; she had made a wrong turn. "S-Sir, I've impeded in your work, I've weirded you out with odd customs and holidays, and I've wasted your time by feeding you food though you don't need it."
