((Way to post right before mine, jerkface.))
The Agents had already ducked back around the corner, blindfiring. They had learned from the last time. "Ten more seconds!" Connor said.

Richard raised an eyebrow. "So enthusiastic! I love your sense of nationality," he told St. Cyrill wryly, but shut up afterward. Poking fun at him too much might get people killed, since St. Cyrill's hold on his temper was... debatable, at times.
"Will we be working in partnership with these people at any point?"

((But it didn't happen last time!))
Kurtis kneeled against a wall, rifle raised, waiting for so much as a hand to appear around the corner.

St. Cyrill shook his head. "No, apparently our only connection with them was to extract one and kill her mentor." He sighed regretfully. "Again, I'm so sorry about that, Esther. And...here." He handed her a slip of paper. "Richard and I will always be ready if you two need us. Right, Richard?" he asked pointedly.
Better than that: head. Uh oh. Right under it was a hand. With a gun. Aaaaaand there was another. The doors started to open. "Let's go!" Connor shouted. Bang.

"Oh...it's fine. You two have been very kind to me, and I appreciate it," Esther pursed her lips, trying hard not to think about her mentor, and instead looked at the paper St. Cyrill had handed her, "What's this?"

"It's not fine." He looked away. "That's my number. I always have my phone with me. Use it if something ever happens, OK?"

"So we are keeping in contact," Richard commented, trying not to think about Gray either. Or his men. Or St. Cyrill's men. Or any of the drug runners who had been killed. Or anyone who had died for this.

St. Cyrill nodded. "Yeah. Anyways, we should probably get going..." He gestured to Shikyo, then made for the door.

"We're to report to my facilities for testing," St. Cyrill gritted out. He was not looking forward to it, clearly.

"Ah," Richard replied laconically, and wondered what "testing" was.

Kurtis squeezed the trigger and immediately began fumbling with the kinetic gun to reload it, shoving the first clip haphazardly into his pocket - at least it was deep enough not to fall out.

"Thanks again," Esther nodded her head, "Good luck to you both."
She slid the paper into her pocket for safe keeping as it seemed her bag had been misplaced somewhere along the way. But there wasn't anything vitally important in there that she couldn't replace.

Liesel simply sat there, looking uninterested and bored. She caught a few parts of the conversation, and found it particularly interesting that the burly one had killed Esther's previous mentor. Seemed like there was no bad blood between them however. Must have been a very, very unfortunate accident. Now it was up to her to work with the girl. Ly hoped she wouldn't end up like that last person. Getting shot by somebody on her side would not be a good way to go.
"Well, I suppose we're to wait until they call on us." She said to Esther pursing her lips; one of the things Liesel hated most was waiting.
Turning her head slightly to the men, she spoke; her voice came out wry. "Farewell, have fun with the boy. We'll most likely meet again in the future; seeing as we're all after the same thing." Her face upturned into a sly smirk. "I'm sure it will be most pleasant."
[My three week hiatus starts now, I'm sorry ._.]

Xander fired an arrow at the final agent's head, taking minimal precautions not to hit the scientist. The scientist wasn't exactly vital and even if Xander it the scientist, the arrow would still penetrate the agent as well. But still, Xander aimed for the exposed head. The risk of scientific injury was minimal.
